Carlos A. Borja Flores: The great reality: Without Christ we are nothing. Even those of us who are in the Church want to do many things with our own efforts, but we fail, because without Jesus Christ we are nothing.
What a beautiful comment, Carlos! Your reflection resonates with the teaching of Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas in his devotional. He shows us through his experience with his friend Superman that, despite appearing strong and successful, without Christ in our lives we are empty inside. As you mentioned, it is essential to recognize that without Jesus Christ we are nothing. In Isaiah 55:6 he reminds us that we should seek the Lord while we can find him. Just as in Revelation 3:20, Jesus invites us to open the door of our hearts so that He can come in and dine with us. It is in that communion with Christ that we find true fullness and strength. How beautiful it is to know that in Him we find our true identity and purpose! God bless you, Carlos!
Anny: We owe everything to Him With Christ we have everything Without him nothing. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
What beautiful words, Anny! Your comment reflects a deep gratitude and dependence on Christ in our lives, which is fundamental. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, sometimes we seek to fill our voids with earthly things, but it is in Christ where we find fullness and true strength. Just as he expresses it in his text, when we allow God to enter our hearts, He restores us and guides us towards a path of reconquest and restoration. Always remember the words of Revelation 3:20, where Jesus calls us to open the door of our hearts to dine with us. In Him we find everything we need. Blessed be the name of the Lord for his unfailing love and infinite grace! May God continue to bless you, Anny!
Wulfredo: Someone born outside of Christianity usually poses as Superheroes, Haughty-arrogant-gossiping and vulgar when speaking and fearful of death even when confronted with the word they become victims. Allied to evil, theft, the destruction of families and even death, they worship. They claim to know about theology and do not admit that this position is diabolical since the liar came to kill, steal and destroy. And those of us who have been cleansed with the blood of Christ and restored and reconciled with God the Father receive it freely without deserving anything. It is by the mercy of God that today under the humility of my Lord I recognize that I am in the process of conversion to Christianity. Because not all those who say Lord Lord enter the Kingdom of God. May the Most High God help us to forgive and move forward bringing the good news of salvation. Because Christ came to save what was lost. Amen
Wulfredo, thank you for sharing your sincere and powerful testimony. Your reflection highlights the transformation we experience when encountering Christ, contrasting the arrogance and emptiness we can feel outside of his love. Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas shows us in his devotional how those who seem powerful and successful in the eyes of the world can be empty inside without Christ in their lives. As you mention, it is through God's mercy that we are cleansed and restored, without deserving it, simply because of His unconditional love. Your conversion process is a living testimony of the transforming power of Christ in our lives. In this season of change and growth, remember the words of Revelation 3:20, where Jesus knocks on the door of our hearts to dine with us. May the Almighty God guide you on your path of forgiveness, transformation and bringing the good news of salvation to others. May the peace and love of Christ accompany you on this beautiful journey of faith and conversion! Blessings!
Ruth Vives.: Only depositing, supporting and trusting in God our life plans. We will be protected and covered with its power. God bless you. Amen.
What beautiful words, Ruth! Your comment reflects a deep trust in God and his plan for our lives. Just like Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas shows us in his devotional, when we allow God into our hearts, He guides and restores us, giving us clear purpose and direction. As you mention, placing our life plans in the hands of God gives us protection and covers us with his powerful love. Always remember the words of Isaiah 55:6, where we are urged to seek the Lord while we can find Him. May that trust and faith in God continue to guide your steps and fill your life with blessings. May God bless you richly in everything you undertake! Amen!
Francisco Diaz S.: Generally, early youth makes us self-sufficient, proud and convinced that we are the brave ones, only with the passing of the years and after so many lost or tied battles do we understand that our power is fragile and cracks with any setback and then we look for the true strength, the stone that supports us and that never fails. We seek Christ Jesus
What an accurate reflection, Francisco! Your comment highlights the transition we often experience in youth, where we feel self-sufficient and brave, but with time and lost battles we understand our fragility and need for true strength. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, sometimes we cling to empty slogans and apparent strengths that eventually crack, leaving us empty inside. It is precisely in Christ Jesus where we find that solid rock that sustains us unwaveringly. Just like in Revelation 3:20, Jesus calls us to open the door of our hearts so that He can enter and give us that true strength and direction. May the search for Christ continue to guide your path and fill your life with the true strength that only He can provide. God bless you on your journey of faith and spiritual growth!
Patricia Campo: I loved the testimony of Pastor Faustino Zamora, that description of that mysterious way that the Lord has to bring us into his presence because he has chosen us. And very pertinent when he warns us that we must always be alert because the enemy will seek to seduce us with his deceptions. Maintain spiritual firmness, yes: always standing in the Lord. Standing before the world, kneeling before the Lord
What a beautiful reflection, Patricia! Your comment highlights the importance of being alert and maintaining spiritual steadfastness at all times, as Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas reminds us in his devotional. It is true that the Lord calls us in mysterious ways and guides us into his presence by his divine choice. As you mention, we must be vigilant against the deceptions of the enemy, remaining firm in the Lord and in his truth. Your phrase "always standing in the Lord. Standing before the world, kneeling before the Lord" is very eloquent and powerful, reminding us of our position of strength in Christ and our humility in the face of his greatness. May this constant reminder to remain steadfast in the Lord guide your steps and strengthen your faith at all times. May grace and divine protection always be with you! God bless you, Patricia!
