Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. (Deuteronomy 28:5)
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. (1 Timothy 4:8)

Obedience brings blessing

Obedience brings blessings to all the provisions we receive through diligence. Even if we have very little, the blessing of the Lord is promised. However, if we have a reserve, we need the Lord's blessing even more, as the cares of obtaining, keeping, administering, and using our goods can consume us. We should use our worldly possessions for God's glory and not let them endanger our salvation. Read more...

Martha Eugenia Caro Montañez : Amen Amen Amen ♀️🙇🏻, I am going through that test of only having the newspaper since I am a pensioner but in reality it is not enough for more than the newspaper. This reflection touches me because I have meditated on this in relation to Manna and I ask the Lord to be a Faithful servant so that, like the widow of the Prophet, the oil does not lack in the trough since I am responsible for my well-being, Thank you very much, Blessings
Martha Eugenia, your faith and trust in God are inspiring. In times of scarcity and trials, it is beautiful to see how you seek faithfulness to the Lord and His constant provision, just like the prophet's widow who trusted in God and saw His miraculous inexhaustible supply of oil. As Deuteronomy 28:5 mentions, "Blessed will be your basket and your trough," let us trust that God will supply our needs according to His glory and mercy. May the Lord continue to strengthen you, guide you and sustain you in the midst of your circumstances. May His peace and provision be with you always! Blessings and strength on your journey of faith!
