In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. (Proverbs 14:28)
And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. (Mark 5:24)

The charism of Jesus Christ

The popularity of a ministry is often an indication of the power of God present in that ministry. People are drawn to places where they can experience the manifestations of God. The most theologically developed and sophisticated ministries are not always the most popular with people because the power of God often resides in places where there is faith, prayer, humility, and dedication to God. It is important for a ministry to maintain a balance between seeking and declaring the power of God and adhering to sound doctrine and healthy teaching. Jesus was oppressed by the multitude which is an indication of the power that was in Him and that we must also imitate in our ministries. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Thank you for sharing your power my LORD.
In Proverbs 14:28 we are told, "In the multitude of the people is the glory of the king." This verse shows us how the presence of a crowd following Jesus in Mark 5:24 reflects the glory and power He had. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, people seek the manifestations of God's power and are attracted to those places where that power is palpably manifested. How beautiful it is to be able to experience the glory and power of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Julio Saturnino Ardura López : Blessings. Very real impressive, while reading the message and meditating on its content and purpose, what God wants to achieve through us in this 21st century. People and especially those who believe they are important, but God thinks the opposite, let's see the Lord Jesus himself in: St. Mark 6:1-6 [1]Jesus left there and came to his own country, and his disciples followed him. [2]And when the Sabbath day came, he began to teach in the synagogue; And many, hearing him, were amazed and said: Where does this man have these things? And what wisdom is this that is given to him, and these miracles that are done by his hands? [3] Is not this the carpenter, son of Mary, brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Are not his sisters here with us too? And they were scandalized by him. [4]But Jesus said to them: There is no prophet without honor except in his own country, and among his relatives, and in his house. [5]And he could not perform any miracles there, except that he healed a few sick people, laying his hands on them. [6]And he was amazed at their disbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. God bless you
How beautiful it is to reflect on the way people react to the presence and power of God, as we see in Mark 6:1-6. Jesus, despite performing miracles and teaching wisdom, was despised in his own land. This passage reminds us of the importance of being open to receiving the work of God in our lives, without prejudice or limitations based on what we know from someone seemingly ordinary. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, the popularity of a ministry is not always an indication of its strength, but it can reflect the power of God acting in that place. May we remain open and receptive to the move of God in our lives and ministries! God bless you abundantly!
Mirna : Amen
Amen! May the presence and power of God continue to manifest in our lives, just as we see in the crowd that followed Jesus in Mark 5:24. May we remain receptive and open to His work at all times. God bless you!
Francisco Diaz S.: Currently there are many Pharisees who roam the world saying: "Lord Lord!" while their mind is on worldly conveniences.- Let us beware of leaders with ostentation of power.- True power is in the humble spirit and healthy feelings.- "By their fruits you will know them"
How important your reflection is, Francisco. Indeed, as you mention, it is essential to discern between those leaders whose power comes from God and those who seek rather human recognition and the conveniences of the world. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional expresses, the popularity of a ministry can reflect the manifestation of God's power, but it is also essential to examine the fruits that are produced to discern their origin. Let us keep our hearts humble and our feelings pure, always seeking the will of God above worldly conveniences. May the Holy Spirit guide us at all times to recognize and follow the truth! God bless you!
Ruth Vives.: God is doing his work in the universe. Let us not hesitate to believe it. God bless you. Amen.
How beautiful it is to have the certainty that God is working at all times, as we see in the shared reflections. May our faith be strengthened as we remember that the Lord continues to manifest his power and glory in our midst. May God bless you abundantly and may we continue to trust in His wonderful work in the universe! Amen.
Ruth Vives.: God is doing his work. Let's not doubt it. God bless. Amen.
It is wonderful to remember that God is constantly at work in our lives and in the universe. May we keep our faith firm and trust in His power and sovereignty. May God's blessing continue to fill our lives! Amen.
Maria de Lourdes Jarrin: God is the Almighty. He looks at the intention of the hearts. It is no longer about doing so many things to find salvation and the hand of the Lord but rather seeing from within each person the power that He has to do everything. His Holy Spirit not only rebukes but directs our path. It is a shame that we have not been "trained" to hear the voice of God. I wish we could do it permanently so that our walk is in his total will. He is always good and wants us to seek his kingdom. the one who is here, among us, because the Lord Jesus is the king and his kingdom has no end. May its power be manifested at all times in our lives, both with signs and wonders and in everyday life, opening the eyes and ears of the spirit.
What beautiful and deep reflections, Maria de Lourdes. It is true that God is the Almighty and that He knows the innermost intentions of our hearts. It is essential to remember that it is not just about taking external actions, but rather allowing the power of God to transform our being from the inside out. His Holy Spirit guides us and directs us in the path of His will, showing us His unwavering goodness and faithfulness. May we learn to listen to His voice constantly, allowing His kingdom to be established in us and around us. May His power and presence be manifested in every aspect of our lives, revealing His glory in both the extraordinary and the everyday. May God bless you abundantly and guide your steps in His will!
