The popularity of a ministry is often an indication of the power of God present in that ministry. People are drawn to places where they can experience the manifestations of God. The most theologically developed and sophisticated ministries are not always the most popular with people because the power of God often resides in places where there is faith, prayer, humility, and dedication to God. It is important for a ministry to maintain a balance between seeking and declaring the power of God and adhering to sound doctrine and healthy teaching. Jesus was oppressed by the multitude which is an indication of the power that was in Him and that we must also imitate in our ministries.
