Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: (Job 5:17)
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1:12)

As James 1:12 says, "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him." It is in those difficult moments that our faith is tested and, as Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, it is when the love we profess for our Lord is tested. May the Lord strengthen you and grant you the grace to firmly endure any adversity that comes your way. God is with you!
