In the Charles Spurgeon devotional that you shared, he tells us of the wonderful prospect of a day when the Lord will be recognized and worshiped by all the nations and tribes of the earth. As it says in the book of Zechariah 14:9, "The LORD will be King over all the earth. In that day the LORD will be one, and His name will be one." We look forward to that day when everyone will bow before our Great King. As Spurgeon mentions, there is currently much rebellion and diversity of ideas about God even among professing Christians. But one day, according to Revelation 11:15, "the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (the Messiah). He will reign forever and ever." As we wait for that glorious day, let us continue to be strengthened in faith and cry out daily: "Thy kingdom come." May God's word inspire us and compel us to live for His glory! Blessings.

As you mention, God is and always will be the only King over all the earth. When evil is eradicated from the earth and God's plan is completely fulfilled, only the kingdom of God will remain. There will be no room for another kingdom because His sovereignty and authority will be absolute.
