Nancy: Amen that's right Lord
Amen, Nancy! It is wonderful to recognize that God is the one who chooses for us and that we can fully trust in His wisdom and care. As Charles Spurgeon mentions in his devotional, we prefer that God direct our lives, because He knows what is best for us. In Psalm 47:4 we are reminded that God chooses our inheritance, and in Colossians 3:24 we are told that from the Lord we will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is Christ, our Lord, whom we serve. May we lay all our desires and plans at the feet of Jesus, trusting that He is in control. Blessings!
Ma Esther Viñas: Very good reward, we will have, if we accept, the inheritance of Christ Jesus!
That's right, Ma Esther Viñas. As you mention, if we accept Christ Jesus as our Savior and Lord, we will have a wonderful reward: the inheritance of Christ. In Colossians 3:24 we are assured that from the Lord we will receive the reward of the inheritance. This means that we will be joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17) and share in the blessings and promises He has prepared for us. It is a great blessing and privilege to belong to Jesus and receive what He has prepared for us. May we value and long for this inheritance that only He can give us. God bless you!
Elizabeth marines: Very true from him comes the reward.
That's right, Elizabeth Marines. It is true that all reward comes from God. He is the one who blesses us and grants us the blessings and inheritances that correspond to us. In Colossians 3:24 we are assured that from the Lord we will receive the reward of the inheritance. This shows us that our trust must be placed in Him, recognizing that He is the one in control and the one who provides for us according to His will. May we joyfully value and await the rewards God has in store for us, knowing that they come from His love and grace. May God bless you abundantly!

You are absolutely right, Carlos Diaz. Allowing God to make decisions in our lives is an act of surrender and acceptance of His will. As you mentioned, it is the best path we can take, because God has a perfect plan for each of us. At times, we may be tempted to want to take control and follow our own paths, but by trusting God and allowing Him to direct our steps, we will experience His peace, wisdom, and blessing in abundance. As Charles Spurgeon reminds us in his devotional, we prefer that God choose for us and we put our reins in His hands. May we continue to seek and follow the will of our Lord at all times.
