Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. (Psalm 35:19)
But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. (John 15:25)
Charles Spurgeon

Hate without cause

If Jesus was hated without cause, we should expect to face the same persecution as Christians. We should not seek persecution, but if it comes, we should rejoice in it for the sake of Christ. However, we should also make sure that if we face opposition, it is for the sake of justice and not because of our own sin or offensive behavior. Those who hate Christ should turn to Him and experience His love and salvation. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : May GOD give me faith and love again today. Hallelujah, amen.
Beloved Enrique, what a beautiful prayer you have shared. It is wonderful to seek the faith and love of God every day. By reading Charles Spurgeon's devotional, we can reflect on how Jesus was hated without cause. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 35:19: "Do not let those who are my enemies unjustly rejoice at my expense, Nor let those who hate me without cause wink their eyes in malice." Also, in John 15:25, the word of the Law is fulfilled: "They hated me without a cause." Just as Christ suffered persecution, we can expect the same in this world. However, Spurgeon exhorts us not to provoke the hatred of the world, but to live justly and lovingly. May God grant you the faith and love necessary to face any opposition without losing your testimony. Hallelujah! Amen. May the Lord bless you greatly.
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us be upright, of good character, of good behavior and we will earn the trust and goodwill of those around us.- Who denigrates the righteous? Who envies him and hates him? The unjust is the one who hates it.- Let us trust in God, our protection is in Him.
Dear Francisco, thank you for sharing this beautiful thought. It is true that by being upright, of good character and behavior, we can earn the trust and good will of those around us. As you mention, the unjust is the one who hates the just and envies him. But in the midst of any opposition or persecution, we can find comfort and protection in God. As Charles Spurgeon reminds us in his devotional, if your Lord, Jesus, was hated without cause, we too should expect the same. However, we must ensure that if the world hates us, it is without justifiable reason. Let us trust in the Lord and His power to guide us in every situation. May integrity and trust in God be our guides at all times. May the Lord bless you abundantly.

Jesús rios: I believe that we should live a life that reflects the love of Christ that although they hate us for speaking of this blessed gospel we must know the words of the Lord Jesus Christ who said that we would be hated because of him and that if they persecuted him they would also persecute us
Dear Jesus, thank you very much for your comment. You are absolutely right, as followers of Christ, we must live a life that reflects his love and his message of salvation. It is true that, as Jesus warned us, we can be hated and persecuted because of Him. But in the midst of those difficulties, we can find comfort and strength in the words of the Lord. As you mentioned, Jesus said that if they persecuted Him, they would persecute us too. In these situations, it is important to remain firm in our faith, trusting in God and remembering that we are blessed to follow Christ, even in the midst of opposition. May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen you in your testimony and may you continue to share the blessed gospel with love and courage. May God bless you abundantly!
