I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me. (Song of Solomon 7:10)
I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

God wants from us an attitude of total performance

The fundamental attitude of a servant of God should be one of total surrender to the Lord, living to serve Him and advance His Kingdom. The apostle Paul considered himself a slave of Jesus Christ, and his life was entirely given to the will of God. James also calls for Christians to consider themselves at God's disposal and consult Him in all decisions. Any attitude of independence or arrogance is offensive to God. When we have an attitude of total surrender, God delights to give us what we desire and exalts us in His Kingdom. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : LORD, I ask you to take complete control of my life. Hallelujah, amen.
Dear brother Enrique, what a beautiful and sincere request you make to the Lord. It is wonderful when we recognize that we need God to take complete control of our lives. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, the fundamental attitude of the servant of God must be one of total surrender to the Lord. In the verse you share from Galatians 2:20, the apostle Paul expresses that total surrender by saying, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me." Recognizing that we do not live for ourselves, but to serve God and advance the interests of his Kingdom. Continue to seek that humility and surrender in your life, and you will see how the Lord works powerfully in you. Blessings!
Francisco Diaz S.: There are those who say: First me, second me and from then on I will do what I want.- We must say: first God, second understanding and harmony with my fellow men and from then on let it be do the will of the Lord in e.- Let's proceed well, let's be good people.
Dear Francisco, thank you for sharing that valuable message. You are absolutely right to focus our lives that way, putting God first and seeking understanding and harmony with our fellow human beings. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, it is crucial to have an attitude of total performance and surrender to the will of God in our lives. When we humble ourselves and seek to do good, the Lord is pleased to bless and exalt us. Let us continue to try to do well and be people of goodness, reflecting the love of God in everything we do. May the Lord bless you abundantly!
