There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked. (Isaiah 48:22)
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas

God blesses those who seek his peace

Rebellion is a state of nonconformity that can be for better or for worse. Man is an enemy of God due to his evil works, but Christ sought peace through his blood shed on the cross, making him our peace. The peace of God is found in Jesus and encompasses the mind, emotions, and heart. The Hebrew term for peace is SHALOM, meaning prosperity, health, security, wholeness, harmony, and salvation. The wicked cannot experience the peace of God, so it is important to present the gospel of peace to them. Satan promotes strife among nations due to men's rebellion and wickedness, but as Christians, we can be proactive in spiritual warfare and peacemakers by preaching the Word and proclaiming the Good News of salvation through Jesus. Enrique Meneses Muñoz : May your peace always reach me my LORD.
Dear brother Enrique, thank you for your comment. It is beautiful to express the desire that the peace of our Lord always reach us. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, the peace of God goes beyond the simple absence of strife and wars. It offers us a fullness and harmony that we only find in Jesus. In Matthew 5:9, Jesus tells us, "Blessed are those who seek peace, for they will be called children of God." By seeking the peace that comes from God, we identify ourselves as his children. May the Lord continue to bless you with his peace in every area of your life. God bless you!
Francisco Diaz S.: May the peace of the Lord always accompany us, Blessed are those who walk and live in the name of the Lord. In those who wage war there is no love or mercy
Dear brother Francisco, thank you for sharing your comment. It is wonderful to wish that the peace of the Lord always accompanies us. As you say, those who walk and live in the name of the Lord are blessed. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, the peace of God transcends wars and offers us a state of plenitude and grace. In Isaiah 48:22 we read: "There is no peace for the wicked," says the LORD. In contrast, those who seek peace and strive to live in harmony with God and others are truly blessed. May the love and mercy of the Lord guide our hearts at all times. God bless you abundantly!
BETTY: Peace is a commandment and comes from the Lord. Let us not oppose creating environments of peace: It is time to find peace in the hearts of those who always object to everything that others do and let us help the peace of actions by not being incendiary against those who have the opposite opinion.
Dear Sister Betty, thank you for your comment. You are absolutely right when you affirm that peace is a commandment that comes from the Lord. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, the peace of God is transcendent and encompasses our mind, emotions and heart. It is important that we strive to create peaceful environments and seek peace in our own hearts. In Matthew 5:9, Jesus teaches us: "Blessed are those who seek peace, for they will be called children of God." As we seek peace, we are called to be peacemakers and not to be incendiaries against those who have different opinions. May the Holy Spirit help us to live in peace and to be instruments of peace in this world. May the Lord bless you greatly!
Sabino Marroquín López.: If someone offends me and treats me badly: I do not respond, I prefer to remain silent with humility so as not to aggravate the offense. Amen.
Dear brother Sabino, thank you for your comment. It is wise and valuable to choose humility and silence when we are offended or treated badly. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, seeking peace means giving up rebellious attitudes and responding peacefully. The Bible also teaches us in Proverbs 15:1 that "a gentle answer turns away wrath." By not responding by aggravating the offense, we demonstrate humility and seek peace in relationships. May the Lord strengthen you and guide you in your desire to live in peace and reflect His love in all your interactions. God bless you abundantly!
Martha Eugenia Caro Montañez : Wonderful reflection and call, Our Beloved Lord Jesus Christ told us: my Peace I leave with you and my Peace I give to you, He does not give it like the world gives it, it is that which surpasses all understanding. Beloved Father, help us to cultivate Your Peace in our hearts, Amen
Dear sister Martha Eugenia, thank you for your beautiful comment. It is true, the call to seek peace and cultivate it in our hearts is wonderful. As you mention, Jesus Christ left us his peace, a peace that surpasses all human understanding. In John 14:27, Jesus tells us: "Peace I leave you, my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world gives it. Do not be distressed or dismayed." It is in the Beloved Father that we find help to cultivate that peace in our hearts. May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen us on our path to live in the peace that only comes from God. May the Lord bless you and fill you with his peace in abundance! Amen.
