SUMMARY: Rebellion is a state of nonconformity that can be for better or for worse. Man is an enemy of God due to his evil works, but Christ sought peace through his blood shed on the cross, making him our peace. The peace of God is found in Jesus and encompasses the mind, emotions, and heart. The Hebrew term for peace is SHALOM, meaning prosperity, health, security, wholeness, harmony, and salvation. The wicked cannot experience the peace of God, so it is important to present the gospel of peace to them. Satan promotes strife among nations due to men's rebellion and wickedness, but as Christians, we can be proactive in spiritual warfare and peacemakers by preaching the Word and proclaiming the Good News of salvation through Jesus.

Rebel, according to the dictionary is a person who revolts. To rebel is to get up lacking due obedience, it is to resist something or someone. It is commonly said that there are rebels with a cause and rebels without a cause, which implies that rebellion is simply a state of nonconformity that is shown in deeds and words for better or for worse. Man He is an enemy of God because of his evil works, he does not have peace in the broadest theological and integral sense.Only Christ sought peace through his blood shed on the cross (Col. 1:20) and that is why we affirm that he is our peace. (Eph. 2:14). The peace of God is found in Jesus. Knowing him we stop being intentionally children of disobedience, and we become members of the family of God reconciled to him by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The peace of God is not simply the absence of strife and war; it is transcendent because it encompasses the mind (thoughts), emotions (our will and decisions), and the heart (our feelings).

How to understand the peace of Christ in a generation (from 40 to 100 years) of men and women immersed in themselves who have turned their backs on the precepts of God? The answer is simple: knowing Christ himself! The Hebrew term for peace is SHALOM and it means prosperity, health, security, wholeness, harmony, wholeness and salvation. The word of God contains a terrible statement: "There is no peace for the wicked, says Jehovah" (Isaiah 48:22). The wicked, the wicked (rebellious, children of disobedience) cannot experience the peace of God and that is a powerful reason to present the gospel of peace to them. The world stirs in annual conferences and summits that promote social peace (avoid or condemn wars to end them), but the unsaved man in Christ cannot experience peace of mind and peace as a state of wholeness and grace. The Christian, even in the midst of the storm, is apt to experience the Shalom of God by his spiritual baptism.

Satan has done an amazing job promoting strife among nations because of men's rebellion and wickedness, their selfishness and greed. The world is upset by a gloomy reality in a good part of the planet: hunger, desolation, calamity and death; rebellion without cause, rebellion for perdition. We cannot sit back and be proactive in spiritual warfare and peacemakers; Our peace, which is not based on human incentives and efforts because it is the result of the fruit of the Spirit: "... love, joy, peace ..." (Galatians 5.22), is an inconceivable peace for human reason and can only be understood by the law of the Spirit of life that Jesus inaugurated on the cross of Calvary for our benefit.

What do we do? The Word says that God blesses those who seek peace (Mt.5.9). This is a verse that tells us about the gospel. The best way to procure, manage and stimulate God's Shalom is by preaching his Word, publishing and proclaiming the Good News of salvation through Jesus. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you… (John 14:27).

God bless your Word!
