In Psalm 51:11, the psalmist cries out, "Do not cast me out of Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me." This petition reflects the importance of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. In Luke 11:13, Jesus also teaches us the importance of asking the Heavenly Father for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
