And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee. (Numbers 11:16)
And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. (Luke 10:5)

God's anointing can be transferred to other people

The anointing of God can be transferred from one person to another through the laying on of hands or other means within certain parameters. This is seen in the story of Moses and the 70 elders, as well as in the Catholic Church's tradition of the transfer of the apostolic anointing through the imposition of hands. This transfer can be used to bless others with healing, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and prophetic words that unleash the gifts of God. However, it must be done within the parameters set by God and with discernment. Paul advises Timothy to enliven the gift within him through the laying on of hands, but warns against using this gift lightly. It is a powerful and special gift that must be used wisely. Comments:

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : You give me great responsibility my LORD with the anointing that I receive every day.
Dear Enrique Meneses Muñoz, thank you for sharing your comment. It is true that receiving God's anointing carries great responsibility. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, God's anointing can be transferred to other people at certain times and circumstances. It is important to remember that this transfer must be done within the parameters established by God and in its appropriate time. It encourages us to seek the Lord's direction and discern correctly before laying on hands or blessing others with the anointing we have received. May the Lord continue to guide and use you in his work. Blessings. (Devotional: Numbers 11:16, commentary: Enrique Meneses Muñoz)
Francisco Diaz S.: Let us pray to the Lord fervently, let us pray for the family, for our friends, for ourselves and ask that the Holy Spirit give us wisdom and understanding to understand the sacred things of the Lord.
Amen, Francisco Díaz S. What a beautiful call to prayer and to seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to understand the sacred things of the Lord. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, the laying on of hands and the transfer of the anointing are powerful resources that we can use to bless others. But it is important to remember that we must do it at the right time, discerning God's will and seeking His direction. Therefore, fervent prayer is essential to receive divine wisdom and understanding. Let us continue to seek the Lord in prayer, trusting that he will guide us and give us the right words and actions to bless others. May the Holy Spirit continue to illuminate and strengthen us in our spiritual walk. Blessings! (Devotional: Numbers 11:16, commentary: Francisco Diaz S.)
Sabino Marroquín López.: The seventy elders that this Biblical passage speaks of, perhaps they would be the seventy Wise Men who wrote the manuscripts of the Bible, I am interested in knowing, amen.
Dear Sabino Marroquín López, thank you for your comment. Your connection between the seventy elders mentioned in the Bible passage and the wise men who wrote the Bible manuscripts is interesting. Although we cannot say with certainty that they are the same, it is possible that there is a symbolic or spiritual relationship between them. The important thing is to recognize that in that passage, God calls Moses to share his anointing with others, so that they can carry the burden of the people with him. This teaches us the importance of sharing our responsibilities and gifts with other believers, and also shows us God's ability to transfer his anointing through the laying on of hands. Let us continue to seek God's wisdom as we explore His Word and delve deeper into His purpose for our lives. Blessings! (Devotional: Numbers 11:16, commentary: Sabino Marroquín López)
Dora Liliana. Gómez Orozco: Blessings it is true, we see in these passages how God transmits his anointing to these men and they to others. In these times is this same anointing still imparted?
Dear Dora Liliana Gómez Orozco, thank you for your comment. It is wonderful to see how in these biblical passages God transmits his anointing through anointed men and how they in turn share it with others. Regarding your question, we can affirm that God's anointing is still available in our times. The Holy Spirit continues to work and empower believers with special gifts and abilities for their service and edification of the body of Christ. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, we can experience the transfer of God's anointing through the laying on of hands and fervent prayer. However, it is important to correctly discern and seek God's will in each situation. May you continue to seek the anointing and direction of the Holy Spirit in your life, trusting that he will empower and guide you for the blessing of others. Blessings! (Devotional: Numbers 11:16, commentary: Dora Liliana Gómez Orozco)
