After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy: (1 Samuel 10:5)

Praise will always be linked to the anointing of the Holy Spirit

In the story of Saul, the first king of Israel, we see how the Holy Spirit moves in the lives of God's children. Saul needed to be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit to do God's work of war and liberation. God sent Saul to encounter a company of prophets who were filled with the Holy Spirit and had the prophetic gift. These prophets had just come from a session of worship, where they used instruments to praise the Lord. God wants His people to worship Him with all dimensions of their being, as enthusiastic worship has an impact on our minds, bodies, and spirits. The worship of war is also a platform for the power of the Holy Spirit to move. God sends us to environments pregnant with the presence of the Holy Spirit to fulfill His purpose for us.
