After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy: (1 Samuel 10:5)
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. (1 Corinthians 14:1)

Free the places the devil has occupied

In 1 Samuel 10, Saul is instructed by Samuel to go to a place where he will receive the substance of the Word of God and encounter men filled with the Holy Spirit. However, he is also told to go to the hill of God, which is now occupied by the Philistines, representing the enemy's stronghold on a place where the Presence of God once dwelled. Similarly, there are places today that were once filled with the Spirit of God but are now occupied by anti-Christian forces. To liberate these places, we need to seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit and fight spiritual warfare in His power. Read more...

Comments:

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Only GOD should occupy the first place in my life. I adore you my LORD for everything.
Dear Henry, Thanks for your comment. It is true, only God should take first place in our lives. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, the enemy often tries to occupy the places where God's presence is present. However, as Holy Spirit-filled children of God, we have the power and authority to liberate those places and make God's presence reign in them. In 1 Samuel 10:5, we see how Saul was sent to the Hill of God, which was occupied by the Philistines. Similarly, around us, there may be places that were once fervent in their love and submission to God, but are now far from his principles. That is why we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and seek his anointing to combat the enemy forces and restore God's presence in those places. Also, as the verse in 1 Corinthians 14:1 mentions, we should yearn for spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. This allows us to receive direction and guidance from God to carry out his work in the liberation of these places. May the Lord continue to bless and guide you in your worship and service to Him. Until our next reflection! Blessings, your facilitator

May the Lord continue to bless and guide you in your work of teaching and building up the body of Christ. Thank you for your participation and have a blessed day. Blessings, your facilitator
Rosa María : Good day. God bless your ministry. What he says about the gift of prophesying is true, there are many who have mistakenly prophesied things and they have not been fulfilled because they are not true prophets, they are mere charlatans. How well he says it in his devotional there must be a true anointing, a good relationship with the Holy Spirit, maintaining HOLINESS, OBEDIENCE, LOVE, FAITH, CONGREGATE, STUDY THE WORD OF GOD, and above all, THE ANOINTING, and be Worthy and recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit. God our Lord teaches us in his word to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit and the voice of unclean spirits. Genesis 1:26 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 In the name of Jesus God keep you
Dear Rosa Maria, Thank you for your comment and your words of blessing. You are right to mention the importance of discerning and recognizing the voice of the Holy Spirit. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional rightly says, we need to maintain a good relationship with the Holy Spirit, live in holiness, obedience, love and faith, gather together and study the Word of God. It is true that there are those who mistakenly pose as prophets and prophesy things that do not come true. For this reason, it is fundamental that our life is rooted in the Word of God and in an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, in order to be able to discern between what is true and what is false. The verses you mention, Genesis 1:26 and 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, remind us that we are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we must care for and maintain our fellowship with Him. May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen you in your spiritual walk. Blessings, your facilitator
