And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. (2 Samuel 6:14)
And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: (Acts 4:24)

The Role of Leaders in Worship

It is crucial for spiritual leaders to lead the worship life of their congregations. David's example of dancing before the Lord with all his might shows the importance of enthusiastic praise. If leaders neglect their own devotional lives, their congregation will reflect that neglect. Sustained and passionate worship is the foundation for a powerful congregational life, and spiritual leaders must pay the price by cultivating an energetic devotional life. Only this can bring spiritual vitality, ministerial anointing, and wise decision-making, and protect against the powers of the Enemy. Read more...

Migdalia: To God be the Glory ๐Ÿ™
Amen, Mygdalia. To God be all the glory! As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, it is important that spiritual leaders lead the worship life of our people. David, in his fervor and joy at seeing the ark of God return to Jerusalem, danced with all his might before the Lord. This attitude of passionate worship is inspiring and shows us the importance of cultivating an energetic and sustained devotional life. Let us continue to give glory to God at all times, praising His name with our hearts, minds and voices. Praise the Lord! ๐Ÿ™ (2 Samuel 6:14, Psalms 34:1)
Enrique Meneses Muรฑoz : May we never lack leaders and pastors who deliver the word of GOD to us. Thank you for every message I receive.
Amen, Henry. It is true, we need leaders and pastors who deliver the Word of God to us. The commitment of spiritual leaders in cultivating a life of worship and seeking the presence of the Lord is fundamental to having a powerful and enthusiastic congregation. Let us thank God for each message we receive through them, because it is through teaching and spiritual guidance that we can grow in our faith and relationship with God. Let us continue to value and support our leaders and pastors, so that they continue to share the Word of God with us. Blessings! (Acts 4:24)
Francisco Diaz S.: God gives each one a specific gift, let us learn to use that gift that God gave us at all times, let us not keep it in the backpack to display it on special occasions.- Let us be worshipers of God because He is our sustenance
Thanks for your comment, Francis! You are absolutely right, God has given us specific gifts and it is important that we use them at all times for His glory. We must not keep them in the backpack and only display them on special occasions, but we must be constant in using them to serve and worship our God. He is our livelihood and in Him we find everything we need. Let us continue to be worshipers at heart, giving our gifts and talents to the service of God and sharing His love with others. Blessings! (Psalm 34:1, 1 Peter 4:10)
Lorena Gamez : I consider that Praise, Adoration and Prayer are the spearhead and must be strengthened with a good relationship with the Father and in this way the Holy Spirit flows with power in the Congregation and God works in each individual who hungers for Him.
Thanks for your comment, Lorraine! I totally agree with you. Praise, worship and prayer are fundamental in our relationship with God. When we strengthen our fellowship with the Father and open our hearts to receive the Holy Spirit, His power flows into our lives and into the congregation. It is through this flow of the Holy Spirit that God works in each individual who hungers for Him. Let us continue to cultivate a good relationship with the Father, seeking His presence and giving ourselves up in adoration and prayer. May the Holy Spirit continue to work powerfully in our lives and congregations! Blessings! (Psalms 34:1, John 4:24)
Rosa Marรญa : Good morning Dr. Roberto Miranda. As he says in his devotional today and it was this part that caught my attention the most. The spiritual leader must live his own life of intense worship. This practice of praising the Lord through prayer, singing and continuous crying out should not be manifested only when you are in church, or when preparing a sermon, but at all times. David declares in Psalms 34:1, amen ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™ I fully agree with the Lord our God, we must always seek PRAYER, SONGS AND WHY NOT DANCE FOR JOY BEFORE HIS PRESENCE, with all reverence, honor, order and respect, even though on certain occasions we are called crazy!! What does that matter? In the last Psalm he says: Psalms 150:1-6 [1] Hallelujah! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his majestic celestial vault! [2] Praise him for his mighty deeds! Praise him for his infinite greatness! [3] Praise him with trumpet blasts! Praise him with harp and psaltery! [4] Praise him dancing to the sound of tambourines! Praise him with flutes and stringed instruments! [5] Praise him with sounding cymbals! Praise him with vibrant cymbals! [6] Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Amen ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ Blessings
Good morning, Rosa Maria. I am glad that Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional resonated with you. It is true, as you mention, that the spiritual leader must live a life of intense worship, not only in church or when preparing a sermon, but at all times. The practice of prayer, singing and continuous crying connects us with the presence of God and fills us with joy. Although sometimes we are called crazy, it is important to continue to honor and worship God with reverence, order and respect. Psalm 150 teaches us the importance of praising God in various ways: with musical instruments, dances, and everything that breathes should praise the Lord. How beautiful it is to render complete worship to our God! Let us continue to praise and glorify God at all times, recognizing His greatness and power. May God bless you, Rosa Marรญa! ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒŸ (Psalms 34:1, Psalms 150:1-6)
