As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional, God seeks humble and broken hearts, willing to submit to His will. In the case of Naaman, we see that his position of power and authority was not enough to obtain the miracle he needed. God wanted Naaman to acknowledge his dependence on Him and humble himself before Him. In the same way, God invites us to approach Him with humility and singleness of heart, acknowledging that we are dependent on His grace and power. Praised be Jesus Christ for His love and mercy toward each one of us.
