When they try to trick you
The author reflects on the importance of consulting God and staying connected to Jesus through spiritual disciplines such as prayer and planning. They encourage setting aside time for prayer, using an agenda to plan important things in life, and finding a separate place to pray. The speaker reminds the audience that walking in the spirit and being connected to the vine is a daily decision and not to neglect simple disciplines.

Numbers 21:22 - Cross Reference

Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders. (Numbers 20:17)
