Y como Isaías predijo: "SI EL SEÑOR DE LOS EJERCITOS NO NOS HUBIERA DEJADO DESCENDENCIA, HUBIERAMOS LLEGADO A SER COMO SODOMA, Y HECHOS SEMEJANTES A GOMORRA." (Romans 9:29)

¿Qué diremos entonces? Que los Gentiles, que no iban tras la justicia, alcanzaron justicia, es decir, la justicia que es por fe; (Romans 9:30)

pero Israel, que iba tras una ley de justicia, no alcanzó esa ley. (Romans 9:31)
