Work with the hands of Jesus

SUMMARY: In Luke 13:10-17, Jesus heals a woman who had been bent over for 18 years. When Jesus puts His hands on someone, things change. He challenged the authorities and system to bless her, showing that He is willing to challenge man-made rules to bless us. We have a choice to respond to His call and understand that His hands are continuously working in our lives. The author identifies three types of hands: crossed and closed, quick to point and judge, and down and discouraged. To counteract the hands that are tired and drooping, we need hands that are willing to lift them up and strengthen them. The Lord is in need of those hands today.

The speaker discusses the importance of having hands that are willing to work and bless others in the name of Jesus. He encourages listeners to put their hands to the plow and push forward, no matter the terrain. He gives an example of blessing a stranger in a bookstore and how it can impact someone's life. He emphasizes the importance of intentionality in our actions and how it can cause changes in the people and situations around us. The speaker invites listeners to ask the Lord to seal this word in their hearts.

The Lord Jesus is looking for hands that are willing to work without looking back, whatever their task may be. Even if you work as an accountant or with a hammer, your actions can bring blessings to those around you. Surrender your hands to the Lord, asking Him to use your actions to bless others. May your intentions be connected with the actions of your hands, and may you always be looking for ways to bless those around you. May the Lord bless you and bring clarity to your life.

I would like to share with you at this moment a meditation that has been very inspiring to me since I came across it. It's something a little different from what I talked about this morning, but I think it's going to be very good for each of our lives. This was something that God gave me in Puerto Rico a while ago and I shared it here at church, but it was in a morning service. I did not have the opportunity to share it in an afternoon service, so due to those coincidences in life you were there that morning in which I shared this reflection, well, double portion for you then, double portion for you but if not then what be a blessing

I would like you to go to the book of Luke, Chapter 13, in verse 10. The passage says:
