Full life for freedom

SUMMARY: The gospel brings freedom and transforms lives. There are two types of people who experience this transformation - those who previously hated God and the church, and those who still struggle to fully embrace the message of the gospel. True freedom in Christ comes from the Spirit and our relationship with Him. We cannot earn this freedom, but simply need to listen to His voice and open the door to Him. The price of our freedom was the death of Jesus on the cross. Living in freedom means serving others out of love and living in gratitude.

The gospel is freedom and it is the power of God, according to the Word. There are transformed lives that inspire and produce not only joy, but more gratitude. In the Christian world, a few people walk who were previously Saulos, but it is the Saulos who are the most abundant. There are basically two types of saulos. Some are those who hate God and the church of Jesus Christ, others confuse the message of the gospel, and although Jesus knocked them off the horse of their perversions and brought light to their dark lives, they still keep asking him from time to time- And who are you? - while the Lord still persists in his mercy to compose their self-centered lives by answering them - Get up, I am Jesus, the one who gave you life -. They are the lovers of themselves, learned of the letter, self-proclaimed patriarchs, who show the living Word as a system and method without the mediation of the Spirit of God and without such a Spirit there is no freedom.

Freedom in Christ comes from his Spirit and from our union and relationship with him. This freedom removes the veil from our eyes and reveals our hearts to live depending on Jesus. I could not imagine a full life in Christ if I did not appropriate the joy that freedom gives me to live in Him. The transforming power of the gospel by the work of the Spirit hangs over our spirit with the longings to resemble Him, not to separate ourselves from He, of abiding in Him, of appropriating his substance of supernatural purity.

What have we done to earn that freedom? Nothing; just listen to His voice (some are eunuchs by ear), open the door (others do not decide to pull the handle) and He decided to bathe us in His grace by giving us a table of spiritual delicacies. The grace and mercies of God are infinite and break every chain of slavery. And what was the price of our freedom? The apostle John wishes us grace and peace “… from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the sovereign of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and freed us from our sins with his blood (Ap 1.5). The price was a death on the cross, his blood brought us redemption and liberation.

The full life is lived from grace and from the call to live in freedom to serve one another out of love (Gal 5.13). If not, why do we enjoy freedom in Christ? The answer to freedom in Christ is to live in gratitude, it is to leave old ties and break the chains so that the spiritual gifts that we may have hidden are released. Full life is a state of mind that comforts: "You have defended, O Lord, the cause of my soul, You have redeemed my life." (Lm 3.58)

God bless you!
