Full life in new life
Faustino de Jesús Zamora VargasThe new life in Christ transcends all that we can understand with our human understanding. The symbolism of baptism in which the newly converted is buried in the water to the death of the old man and resurrected for public witness of conversion and repentance by faith, being reborn to new life, is a serious matter that the church of the living God must confront. with all the implicit teaching for believers.
Only the man who has been born again in Christ can equip himself with the spiritual tools and resources to enjoy a full life. But there is always a beginning in all spiritual work and in the case of salvation everything begins with repentance and the profession of faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord of the newness of life. God forgives. Spurgeon said that God is more interested in forgiving than man in sinning.
The apostle John wrote “… God's love is fully manifested in the life of one who obeys his word. (1 Jn 2.5ªNVI)). Full love of God, fullness in Christ. We are a new creation born of the Spirit, the workmanship of God in Christ. A mystery announced by the prophet Ezekiel 600 years before the first coming of the Lord when he said “And I will give them a heart, and a new spirit I will put within them; and I will remove the heart of stone from the midst of their flesh, and I will give them a heart of flesh "(Ez. 11.19). God the surgeon transplanting, removing the old, the insensitive, what was already dead - in crimes and sins - and putting there a new heart and a new (Holy) Spirit to give us new life, joy of fullness in Christ, a blessing that does not cease for the one who surrenders his (new) life to the eternal rock that is our Savior.
We must seriously meditate on our own conversion experience, if we can actually attest (to God in the first place) that we have been born again in Christ. The full life in Christ is synonymous with spiritual wealth, it is a lifestyle empowered by the blood of Christ that rests on hope in the second coming of the prince of shepherds.
My prayer is that your life will be blessed with the fullness of Christ. You are a new creature, not an "improved" creature, you have a new heart and a new Spirit. The abundance of our life is Christ himself. May we say like Paul "... and I no longer live - the old man who died in trespasses and sins - but Christ lives in me." (Galatians 5.20)
God bless you!
