Trust in God in the midst of waiting
Omar Soto(Audio: Spanish)
SUMMARY:
In this sermon, the speaker emphasizes the importance of having a courageous faith and trusting in God's timing, even in the midst of waiting. He acknowledges that waiting can be difficult, but suggests that God may be using it to develop spiritual qualities such as perseverance, confidence, patience, and subjection. He also warns against being distracted during the waiting period and encourages listeners to intentionally seek to do good and trust in the Lord.
The speaker encourages trusting in God and doing good even in times of confusion, frustration, and waiting. Delight in God and commit your ways to Him, acknowledging Him in all things. Fear the Lord and depart from evil, and trust that God has our best interests in mind. The speaker asks God to instill life, peace, and encouragement in those who may be considering giving up, and for God to guide and bless them.Today I would like to talk to you about a courageous faith, a faith with courage, with strength. I am going to focus on this passage from Isaiah, chapter 55, verses from 8 to 9. A passage that many of us know says:
"...For my thoughts are not your thoughts nor my ways your ways, says the Lord, as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts..."
