True worship

SUMMARY: The name Judah means praise, and as the Lion of Judah, our church is called to spiritual warfare through praise and worship. Throughout the Christmas story, worship is a recurring theme. The Magi came to worship a new king, and they understood the fear and reverence necessary in doing so. Worship is a central part of our lives as Christians and should be the center around which everything we do revolves. The Greek word for worship used by the Magi implies falling down on your knees or face and paying tribute to a great king. The phrase "Son of God" in the Bible also implies king, and Jesus is the divine King installed by God. We are called to serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling, taking refuge in Him.

The speaker discusses the importance of worshiping God, using the example of the three kings who traveled to worship Jesus. Worship, the speaker argues, is the key to bringing people from different nations together and creating a new kingdom among us. We ‘re not in discipleship but if you know what it means you can nod so that I know. It means praise. Judah means praise, because when he was born, Judah, back in the Old Testament his mother said, “Finally this time I’m just going to praise the Lord”.
