The thief and the door
Faustino de Jesús Zamora VargasWhen God builds doors, He makes them without locks. He doesn't bother to design them with doorknobs so that no one would ever close them after He opened them. He gave us Jesus, who is our master key, to make our way through this world so full of closed doors. And as the world has not estimated the vocation of Jesus to walk a step ahead of us to clearing the way, the Father gave him the authority to reveal himself to us as Door and Way. By the way, exclusive designs of God, because there is no other door, much less another way.
Ah, this dreamy world of strange ways to find its doors! “Truly I say to you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (John 10.1).
The thief gets the job because of his shortcomings or because of his selfishness. He longs to have what others have, or to have more with the least effort without sparing the consequences of his evil for the victims of his misdeeds. He is ruthless and cruel. He is a specialist in breaking doorknobs and disorderly the house that is easy to rob ... until he finds the fit of his shoe, namely, those doors of God that have no bolt, no knocker, or doorknob, but rather red marks on their lintels, as if stained. blood of the Lamb; insurmountable, invulnerable, like strong towers turned with the best wood from the Garden of Eden.
To the carpenter who modeled His doors, God gave the keys to His house and gave him the office of major craftsman and luminary of the stars and, in His perfect will, He made it the Door of entry and exit. Entrance for salvation, exit for redemption and blessing. “I am the door; If anyone enters through me, he will be saved; and he will go in and out and find pasture ”(John 10.9). The pastures of God's garden have the green of hope and the aroma of the tree just hammered on Calvary that on the third day blossomed to become a garden.
As death could not end his life, he rose again to offer you his. It is eternal. It marks the path of justice and is full of grace. He will not give up trying to meet you, persistently, because his mission is to seek you, get your attention, attract you with his bonds of love. Don't try to put locks on the door that God is opening right now in front of you. Invite him to your house. Accept their friendship. He makes repairs where other carpenters cannot and makes them free if you trust him with your heart. He is calling you with the thunder of his voice and the sweetness of his heart to finally undertake the return home.
God bless you!
