The importance of a friend (part 3)
Omar Soto(Audio: Spanish)
SUMMARY:
The speaker talks about the importance of having healthy friendships and valuing the people God places in our lives. They also discuss the different ways we can approach our relationship with God, including seeing Him as our God, Father, and friend. The speaker emphasizes that love is the foundation of any relationship, and we must obey God's command to love our neighbors and ourselves. They suggest practical ways to demonstrate our love for God and others, such as helping those in need and serving others.
The speaker discusses the concept of friendship with God and how it is based on love. He emphasizes the importance of serving others as a way of showing love to God and reflects on the idea that hurting others can damage our relationship with God. The speaker believes that the ultimate purpose of love is to return to its originator, God. He cites Bible verses that illustrate God's desire for a close relationship with us, one based on friendship. The speaker encourages listeners to talk to God and to seek a deeper understanding of His love.
God, your love is too great for us to understand, but we ask that you allow us to enter into it and know you more. Please grant us a restful sleep tonight, so that we can face tomorrow with strength and reflect your love to others. Bless us all, in Jesus' name. Amen.I have already made two posts on this subject and today I would like to try to summarize the last part. Obviously I was talking to them about the importance of being able to have healthy, healthy friendships, how one can develop those friendships, how one can take care of some friendships, or how one can influence others, how one must learn to value others. those people that God places around us and also understand that we cannot be a 20 bill, I have that stuck there, we cannot be a 20 or 100 bill for everyone. With some I'm going to like others maybe I'm not going to like him so well. It is in my character and although I try to make adjustments that will be the reality. Some will like me fat even if I'm not, others will like me skinny, how skinny I am.
But the point is, my brothers, that the last part of this message focuses, I would say, on the most important part of what friendship is or where friendship is meshed and founded. And this is, in our friendship with God. Our connection relationship with God. And I understand, my brothers, that in our experience of faith, in our life of faith, we have different ways in which we can approach God. Obviously we approach God as our God, as our Lord, as the king over our lives, terms in which we define that relationship that exists. And therefore, when we see him like this at that height, at that level, as that God who is indeed great, who has been the creator of heaven and earth, who reigns above the universe and as if to say, throwing it right there above but who at the same time is a God who is very close to our hearts.
