New stuff

Andrés Cisterna
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The speaker talks about the excitement of having new things and how it brings a different sensation to the soul. He encourages people to seek new things in their lives, especially in their relationship with God. He cites verses from Isaiah and Ezekiel that talk about God doing new things in people's lives, such as giving them a new heart and spirit. He also emphasizes the importance of putting on the new man and practicing the fruit of the spirit. The speaker challenges the church to show the world a creative God who does new things in our lives every day.

The word of the Lord promises that those who lay hands on the sick will recover, but sometimes people end up even sicker. Instead, we should focus on experiencing the newness of the Lord every day. Our God is inexhaustible and has prepared new things for us that we cannot even imagine. We must have faith and trust in Him, knowing that He has already made all things new. We should meditate deeply on this truth and pursue these new things with joy and hope. May we leave this place with the conviction that God has already done these new things for us, and may we put on our new selves every day. Amen.

Today is the day, this is the time for new things. How many like new things? When we don't have enough for the new car, we reluctantly buy a used car and look at it everywhere. When we are sure we take the car, but the part that we did not look at was spoiled. New things bring different sensations to the soul. Some of us who came to this country to experience the newness of living in another culture, some of us had to wear used pants that were given to us. How many had to live that? Don't say amen so you won't be ashamed.

How many had to wear that shirt that the neighbor wore for how many years, and he gave it to you because in winter he saw you wearing a short-sleeved shirt, and he told you, you can't walk like this here. But when we were able to have our first new pants, we were able to buy our first shirt, it doesn't matter if it was at Kmart or somewhere like that or at Target, or at some Dollar Store, they also sell clothes there. Salvation Army, also sometimes new things arrive.
