If we walk dirty, God cannot grant us favors

SUMMARY: God can take away pleasant things, but not "the good." He will grant us holiness, victory over bad habits, full assurance, and close fellowship with Him if we ask through Jesus Christ. However, we must walk in integrity and avoid hypocrisy and deception. The path of wholeness leads to heavenly wealth, which includes all good. This is a promise that we can pray with confidence.

The Lord can take away many pleasant things, but not "the good." He is the best judge of what is good for us. Some things are undoubtedly good, and we can obtain these when we ask for them through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Holiness is a good, and He will work it in us freely. He will gladly grant us victory over bad tendencies, violent tempers, and bad habits, and we are not to remain without it.
