As he approached I noticed that his ribs could be counted, the bones of his hip and spine looked like they were going to break the skin. I felt an incredible pain in my chest and tears came out when I saw the sore, huge, bleeding, which had caused the rope with which they pulled her.

They flogged her and she humbly served those who mistreated her, accepting punishment with resignation.
