Delight yourself in the lord

: The writer loves dulce de leche and reading, but those delights are temporary. They suggest finding lasting delight in God's presence, even if it's difficult to take the time for prayer and meditation. Singing Bible verses is one way to do this. Delighting in God's presence doesn't guarantee getting whatever we ask for, but it brings peace in waiting or receiving a negative answer. The writer encourages readers to delight in God just for the sake of enjoying His presence.

I love dulce de leche, and I also love reading a good book, I don't know where you find delight, however after I finished the sweet the delight ended. I want to share with you about a lasting delight. The toils of daily living keep us from continually delighting. But many of us can testify of the blessing of delighting in the presence of the Lord. It may be difficult for you to take time to pray and meditate on the word. It may be because you haven't found a way to delight yourself in their presence. I have found another way to spend longer times in his presence and at the same time feed on his word. Singing Bible verses, I put on my own music and repeat them during my time alone with Him. The wonderful thing is that sometimes while driving or doing other tasks I remember the tune and the verse.

Does this mean that if I am delighting, the Lord will grant me whatever I ask? No, but it gives me peace to wait or to receive the negative answer.

I urge you to delight yourself in Our Beloved, just to enjoy his presence.

God bless you.
