He mentions the various forms that the devil's tricks can take and how we have a responsibility to not only protect ourselves but also others. He emphasizes the importance of being strong in the Lord and putting on the full armor of God to resist the devil's wiles. The armor includes girding our loins with truth, covering our hearts with the armor of justice, putting on good shoes of the gospel of peace, and taking up the shield of faith and helmet of salvation. The speaker emphasizes the need to protect our minds from negative thoughts and influences that can drag us down.
The speaker emphasizes the importance of maintaining one's spiritual armor, including the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation, in order to resist the attacks of the enemy. He reminds them that God is sovereign and can use all things for good, even in the midst of pain and suffering. He encourages listeners to pray for and cover their brothers and sisters in the church, and to be brave warriors for the Kingdom of God. Lord Jesus, we thank you for the opportunity to pray tonight. We believe that our prayers have come before your presence and that you are preparing the way. We ask for your strength and guidance to fight against the enemy's attacks. We know that you are a good and sovereign God who will give us wisdom and a way out of our adversities. Please bless and protect us as we leave this place, and may this word continue to echo in our hearts. We ask all of this in Jesus' name.I have felt in my heart to speak to you about, about that call of the church, to be an intercessory church. I would like you to go with me to the book of Ephesians chapter 6, I am going to read a passage that for many of us is very, very, very, very familiar, a passage that many times we marry that passage and we say that our life is based on that passage all the time.
Ephesians chapter 6, talks about what that "Spiritual Warfare" is. That Spiritual war that every human being is exposed to this reality, the only thing is that not many live with that reality in mind, not many live day after day knowing that, when we launch ourselves into life, when we leave the door of our houses that, we get into the car and “We go about”, as who says us, we move in what we have to do in daily life.
