A vision with action can change the world
Dr. Roberto MirandaSuccessful people have the dual ability to think positively and act concretely. They can go seamlessly from conception to action. They turn their visions into concrete endeavors. They do not stay in the field of the theoretical and visionary. They proceed from dream to reality with admirable fluidity. They draw up a plan, even if it's rudimentary and instinctive, and proceed to implement it in a disciplined way, one humble action at a time, over time, until it is fully realized.
Joel Barker has stated: “Vision without action is a mere vain dream. Action without vision is a mere waste of time. Vision with action can change the world ”. If your visions and your confessions are not accompanied by an iron will to implement them one piece at a time, they can never affect the world. They will remain in the stratosphere, like cold stars unable to shed light or heat on your circumstances.
Napoleon Hill, one of the great motivators of our time, declares: “First comes the thought; then the organization of that thought into ideas and plans; finally, the transformation of those plans into reality ”. We have to combine the ability to dream with the discipline to execute. What transforms a mere dream into an inspiring and feasible vision is the energy to translate it into an action plan, the ability to draw it in three dimensions, with its constituent parts, and incorporate it in a disciplined way into the dimension of time and space. This is perhaps the most important part, the crucial stage, and the one in which most people fail. The sublime ships of greatness frequently crash against the reefs of specificity.
Hold on to the dreams that God has placed in your heart and proceed to incorporate them into the dimension of time and space with patience and determination. Start with what you have at hand, and the dream itself will guide you step by step until it becomes a beautiful reality. Life always respects and allies itself with the visionary who is willing to pay the price and launch himself into realizing his visions one humble action at a time. In the luminous words of Saint Francis of Assisi, one of the greatest and most exalted visionaries in all of history: “Begin by doing what is necessary; then do what is possible; and for now, you will find yourself doing the impossible ”.
