King James Version
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:(Hebreos 6:18)
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;(Hebreos 6:19)
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.(Hebreos 6:20)
For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;(Hebreos 7:2)
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.(Hebreos 7:3)
Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.(Hebreos 7:4)
