Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people. (Lamentaciones 3:48)

Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. (Santiago 5:1)

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace. (Jeremías 12:12)
