Summary: Thoughts that are not nourished by the Word of God can sicken the soul like viruses. That is why we need to meditate on it day and night, keep it, and put it into practice instead of relying only on our own understanding. Blessing is tied to obedience, holiness, and consecration; sin weakens the spirit and keeps us from moving forward. We must also avoid letting our plans and strategies distract us from the God of the mission. Let us replace our own thoughts with the divine Word and remember that Christ is our immunity.

In today’s world, there has been an incredible increase in diseases caused by viruses. These viruses also mutate, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to fight them. Some of them may be preventable, but people act as though they do not fear being wiped out by them.

There are thoughts that closely resemble viruses: those that swarm in a mind that does not meditate on the Word of God “day and night.”

When we do not take into account what God tells us, our thoughts become viruses that sicken the soul.

God does not tell us to listen and then act according to our own understanding, but to “keep it and put it into practice.” In this way, blessings are conditional on our obedience. We are not here to understand; we are here to obey, and this obedience brings blessing into our lives.

But blessings are also connected with holiness and consecration (Joshua 3:5–6). Where sin dwells, blessing remains at the door. (Joshua 7:13) A life of obedience nourishes the spirit. If you are living in sin, you are too weakened to reach new goals; it is like walking on a greased log—your falls will keep you from moving forward.

Thoughts, actions, strategies—a whole framework for carrying out something as simple as the mission, which asks only for a heart and lips that convey it. If we do not stay focused, we will forget the God of the mission.

Replace your own thoughts with the Divine Word, drive spiritual sickness from your life, and you will be able to have the full life God gives.

Always remember that Christ is your immunity.
