Prayer Has to Be Something Continuous in Life

I want to start this sermon and I want to invite Manuela to stop by for a moment and share with us such a beautiful testimony that blessed me this morning from this precious young woman, and I believe that you are going to be blessed. And it is very good with the topic that I want to preach, which is prayer and its importance, having healthy lives and growing in the Lord, and being healed of our wounds, what has happened to Daniel is very beautiful, there, welcome , are you okay? yeah, you'll do fine; It is a prelude to what I want to preach about the importance of prayer to break ties in our lives, so thank you for being here and do you want me to help you or are you okay?

Manuela: Glory be to God, God bless you, good morning, my name is Manuela, I am Colombian and I want to share with you the great testimony of life that God has made in my life.

Pastor Roberto: Can everyone hear it well? a little higher, it sounds good but if you can louder even better.

Manuela: From a very young age I was always a very prayerful girl, God appeared in my life from the time I was three years old and showed me the work and the mission that he had for me, and I gave a testimony that I never in My life, nor my life, nor my children, nor my children's children, nor my generation were ever going to disguise or do work to the devil.

And when my family separated and we let the enemy into my home, I disguised myself, and from there I began to have an attraction to women, a homosexual spirit entered my life, and this was taking such advantage that I already wanted to be a man, and in my house there was a mirror in which I saw myself as a man and my mother did not know that

Pastor Roberto: Did you really see yourself as a man?

Manuela: Aha, like a man and I wanted to be a man. And my mother on Wednesday, they gave me a lot of support at school, I wanted to change my name and at school they gave me support, that this was normal, that everything is fine, and my mother never gave me that support that I she wanted, so I would go against her and we would have many fights.

On Wednesday night we spent the whole afternoon talking about how my spiritual life had been, how the Lord had shown Himself in my life, and God was preparing the ground in such a beautiful way that the moment came when my mother played the mirror and said: lying devil, I rebuke you at this instant and I felt that something began to come out of me, and from below I was drowning, and my mother began to speak in tongues, and now at this moment God freed me and I have a very big mission in my life, and it is to help many souls to get out of this. Glory be to God.

Pastor Roberto: And did that happen this week?

Manuela: Yes this week. Yes, I felt very empty as if without a soul, as if my soul were closed, postponed and now I am again myself, and praise God for that.

Pastor Roberto: Tell me a little more about that moment and give a little more detail about what you felt and experienced at that moment.

Manuela: I saw God when I was very little, my mom and I were alone in the house, and it was that moment like the same, we were both alone and we were talking and talking and talking, and my mom said that for me to see myself in the mirror, she said what she did not know, that for me to see myself in the mirror as a man when I was so much a woman, she said: lying devil, and I began to feel a spirit that was coming out of me, and it was not as painful as it was before I felt like I was freeing myself, a sensation, it was something impressive, and now I feel very good, very happy, I feel full, I feel that God supports me and is with me. I wanted to change my name and not now, I am very clear that it is me, my name means God is with us

Pastor Roberto: Manuela, Emmanuel, amen

Manuela: And the glory be to God

Pastor Roberto: And while you were in that lifestyle, did you at some point identify it as something diabolic, spiritual or that it came from the enemy?

Manuela: My mother did tell me a lot that there was a spirit of homosexuality as there was of prostitution, of death and of many things, but the truth is that it was very closed and I defended that that was the way I was, that that was the way I felt, that I I had found and it was not true, the devil was deceiving me and at no time did I feel. Why do I say that I did not look for God to heal me? or like that, my conscience knew it but it's like the rest of me thought that I was like that so I never thought it was true that I was a spirit until I witnessed it and God did that work in my life

Pastor Roberto: And since you, from what age more or less did you feel this same-sex attraction?

Manuela: Like from the beginning of my thirteen years after I dressed up at 12

Pastor Roberto: Did you disguise yourself in what sense, what do you mean by that you disguised yourself?

Manuela: I dressed up as a zombie, as a dead person after I had broken the promise with God that neither my children nor my generations were going to dress up and I asked God for forgiveness for that

Pastor Roberto: And that dressing up, was it for Halloween or did you just do it?

Manuela: yes

Pastor Roberto: It was on Halloween. That is one of the things about demonic oppression and one day I am going to speak again, I have given classes on it before, sermons, but this is one of the things, sometimes we play with these issues believing that they have no meaning. kinds of implications. Our children dress up in these things, we ourselves are going to

Manuela: Society makes it look so normal

Pastor Roberto: yeah, we go to a gypsy one day because we're out there in an amusement park or we pass by a street and to have fun we do it or we consult the horoscope, or we consult the ouija board, someone who reads us the cup and for that of having fun, we go to a witch for simply whatever; all those things can be portals to demonic possession and we should never practice those things because they have power. Not necessarily everyone who does something like read the horoscope regularly.

I have sometimes been asked: Pastor, what sign are you? I tell him: well, I am of the sign of the cross, but we have to be careful, there are Christians who are ignorant about these things. We can never play with those things and you did that, and since you had made a pact with God that then had a very great spiritual power and a very strong symbolism, and then, well, it is like that.

And I'm interested in this: who told you that this was okay, at school they told you that?

Manuela: Well, everyone at school supported me, the social worker, the teachers that if I wanted to call myself Manuel and that they give me the pronoun "el" and that this was normal, that if I felt that way and they defended me, and they gave me everything support

Pastor Roberto: Uh huh, now, it is one of the most terrible things, today we are supporting and strengthening young people in their struggles, are you Manuela's mother? yes, you have every right so let's see one more thing here, yes, okay.

Manuela's mother: Good morning. Brothers, I believe that it was a double miracle that Wednesday that we received the blessing that God removed that spirit of homosexuality from my daughter. We got to know God many years ago, we received the Word of the new birth, we received too much Word and knowledge in that time that we were with the Lord, I saw the glory of God, I touched His Hand when I was on my deathbed, God He raised us up and raised me from the dead, and even so I decided to belittle His blood, His sacrifice and I backed down after seeing His glory, His mercy in each one of my children. My children received Word and promise from God.

Manuela received a Word from being a prophet because since she was a child she expressed a number of things that I knew that she had no knowledge of the Word. When God appeared to her in her life, she described him as Revelation says, I did not know at that time because I had no knowledge of the Word. When I entered the feet of Christ and he began to reveal to me what the Lord was like, I remembered that moment when Manuela described him and that was where I understood what God was going to do in her, and obviously I gave it to her because I am only an instrument in her life.

When she started with the spirit of homosexuality I knew it was a spirit of homosexuality but it was her who started coming to Church, not me. The one who began to cheer up and many times I would leave work tired, and she would still get up and come here. But I saw her praying, crying, and I knew that she was not happy because even though I pleased her by buying her men's clothes, I decided to love her and support her in her process, even though I knew it was not natural because God does not make mistakes. with the sex he gives us, and since we are in the womb He knows what we are going to call ourselves and what he wants us to call ourselves, and what he wants us to be in this world for.

I knew that she was not the one who was acting, but I knew that I knew that I did not have the authority to raise my voice before God and claim a miracle in her life because the one who backed down first was me. As a tutor, as the person in charge of her life, I abandoned her, I stopped praying for her, for my children and for my very soul.

When I came here I remembered, for me it was torture to come to this place, this is my third coming because God gave me many gifts and among them the God of prayer but my mouth was sealed at the time of crying out, at the time to pray because I felt that it was so much what I let back into my life, what God cleaned up, I left and got bogged down alone again.

I looked at my daughter with a heaviness, with a super heavy cross on her back and I felt that she was not happy, but that day we began to remember, to remember everything that God had done in her life but God was also speaking to the mine. And when we remembered how God worked step by step and how he cleansed us with that delicacy, with that mercy in that time that we were, the day that I allowed my daughter to dress up, that I celebrated her, we had already left that day of the Church, but that same day we met the Pastors and we hid from them, and I told my daughter that Wednesday: because sin is cowardly, because we had already received a Word in our lives and even so we let it lose and we let her forget.

We began to remember all of this that day, I did not know that my daughter had that name that said: God is with us, but that moment God also began to speak to me in my life, when Manuela arrived, everyone said: it is a blessing, it is a blessing, Manuela is a blessing. It wasn't Manuela, it's God who was with her and when God is with you, it's a blessing because the glory belongs to Him, it's not us, we are simply instruments.

I didn't think that God was going to use me on that day, let alone me. When we were talking I said to Manuela: why did I bring this Bible, from Colombia I carried it, when we had not even opened it again? When I came to this country let's say that I came here seeing the opportunity to be free as I wanted to be without remembering my past, because I told God: either cold or hot, you are the one who warms but you are also the one that cools, not lukewarm, so I made the decision to be cold, but I have always told him: Lord, save my soul, do not allow me to leave this world without You saving my soul, do Your Work in my life and finish it .

And at that moment when I mentioned the Bible to my daughter, she told me: Mom, I already read the Word of homosexuality in the Bible.

Pastor Roberto: what was it that you said right now, that you said?

Manuela: When she said about the Bible that she had brought here for something because she hadn't even opened it, I told her: mom, I did open it, I looked in the Word of God where it said about homosexuality and it came out that of me, now I am free.

Pastor Roberto: Very good, amen. go on sister

Manuela's mother: When she told me: Mom, I already read it and I read about homosexuality, I felt that something ran through me, it rang me, it shook me because my daughter had done what I should have done to her a few days or a few months ago back. And I started; I know it wasn't me, it was God who put words in my mouth, it was the Spirit of God who spoke through me.

And I started talking to her and talking to her, and from one moment to the next I touched the mirror, and I told her: Manuela, it's not normal for you to look in the mirror as a man being a woman. And at the moment I touched the mirror and I only felt the need to rebuke, and I said: lying devil, I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus, but I was rebuking the mirror at that moment. What I didn't know was what God was going to do.

Because when I looked at my daughter, I looked at how the spirit was coming out of her, I felt afraid. Before I did not feel afraid, I felt that it was God who was doing the work and He commanded us to cast out demons, we simply obey because it is a Word of God. One does not take it out, it is in the Name of Jesus that it has to come out.

And at the moment I remembered it, I remembered that Word and I was quiet but I went to her and told her: you have to leave her in the Name of Jesus, spirit of homosexuality, leave her right now, how she was free and how God again he used me. And that's where I began to remember how God's mercy is so great, so wonderful that He sees and goes beyond what human beings cannot do.

Pastor Roberto: Before you continue, what did you see in her, what reaction did she have when you said that Word?

Manuela's mother: She began to choke and scream very loudly, and to touch her chest, it was as if she were drowning

Manuela: I felt when my mother began to pray in tongues and finished, I felt as if she tore me apart, I felt that she was rising up and I was like drowning here in my chest and I felt when she tore from me afterwards, she left

Manuela's mother: When a person serves the enemy, they do not mention the Word of Jesus or, I understand, when she was free I told her: declare that you are free in the Name of Jesus, confess that you are free from now on the Name of Jesus and she began to confess it, and we began to give glory to God at that moment, we prayed, we prayed until 1 in the morning and we began to give glory to God because He manifests Himself again in my life and in my home. And the only thing that I have more than clear is that God's promises He fulfills them and what He gives us is forever, and we hide no matter how much.

I came to this country hiding because I know and I cannot deny my heart, I came hiding from a past when I cannot hide under stones, because who can hide from the Presence of God? nobody. Even so, he brought me here and began to continue showing you His glory, and with that he told me: there is no world that fills you and satisfies you like me.

So what the Pastor said: let's not be Sunday people, seriously, I was a Sunday woman and I really know that I have the capacity, the knowledge to speak and express because God does not give us knowledge for ourselves but to be disciples and to go out to preach, and bear witness that in the middle of 2015 He continues to manifest Himself in our lives, He continues to show His glory, His Power because He is forever and ever, and His Word will never pass away. Heaven and earth will pass but His Word will not and here we continue to see it latently in our lives, and I fully give glory to God, thank you Irene for inviting us to this place because here is the Presence of God, because here there is fear of God and because here it will continue, this 2015 is a 2015 of much blessing and we will continue to see the glory of God and here I am to serve you and to continue being your servant.

You have a very beautiful, very special anointing from the Lord, obviously there is a call on your life, your words sound authoritative and eloquent so do not waste that gift, renew it now and I believe that your so generous public confession, so willing God values it a lot and it is a liberating confession too.

And I told Manuela when she shared her testimony this morning with me: let me see you in the prettiest, most feminine outfit you can get and we're going to celebrate that because, that's one way of manifesting your new status and it's a prophetic statement to the devil. and to oneself too, your own mind that I now have that feminine identity within me, so continue to strengthen it and God will continue to heal you from memories and other things, and remember that the enemy is always looking to try to return to, but you give up and rebuke in the Name of Jesus and stand on what God has done, and help others to get out one day, with your testimony, of that situation that is so captivating, so terrible and that is causing so much havoc among our youth, and be used as an instrument of God, a prophetess of the Lord to speak to this society.

Father: I bless Manuela, I bless Paola, in the Name of Jesus I seal what You have done in her life Father, and devil we notify you before the people of God, you have no power over Manuela. How important it is to have strong churches that do not deal with those lies of the devil and how important it is to invite people to come to the Church, how important it is to use the weapons of the spirit, that is tremendous, very beautiful and we have to be more daring and more clear than ever to free all these people. I know that God has a purpose in this and is going to help us to be an instrument in that direction, but how illustrative this is of many things that we have been saying.

And I just want to expand on what they have already started. I hope that in the next sermon I will talk about spiritual warfare specifically and what role spiritual warfare plays in the healing of our emotions, and how many times our emotional ties and struggles, and the circumstances against which we often battle have times and in many occasions a demonic origin.

Not all homosexuality has a demonic origin, although ultimately we know that it is the empire of darkness that causes all the sin in the world and the devil always takes advantage of it. One of the origins of homosexuality can be directly demonic, a spirit of homosexuality in a person, but it can also come from other things: from a traumatic past, from a possessive mother, from a distant and abusive father, from a childhood experience. from an adult who introduced us to homosexual pleasures and then we became captive to it.

It can come from some family trauma, it can sometimes come from the influence of a teacher or someone we respect and who initiates us into a homosexual practice, it can come from low self-esteem; Homosexuality today is offering many young people the opportunity to belong to something that is very, nowadays almost people celebrate, homosexuality is interesting, it is intriguing, it is different and there is a very strong community today that is identifies with homosexuality and so instantly provides a community for young people who are lonely and who are willing to experiment with anything and fall for it.

There are many ways in which homosexuality can enter a person's life, demonization is one of them, but we know that there are many ways to do it, right? Now ultimately we know that the devil is the one running that and we have to be wise to understand all of these things in order to speak to this generation in a complex and comprehensive way about the elements that make up homosexual behavior because there are different origins and there are different ways to fight, but definitely one of them is the demonic part and the devil often takes children from their mother's womb even to possess them and to, and those things are terrible because they are very noble people, very decent, very artistically gifted many times but have a demonic influence in their lives, deliverance is one of the ways to unleash them from those bonds.

But hey, I'm going to talk a little about it next time or when it's my turn again because I want to start this, because prayer and spiritual warfare are related but they are two different things. Many times the prayer does not have to be directly against the devil but directly to God, but prayer is something more general, right? it is a Christian practice that does not necessarily have to do with spiritual warfare.

All spiritual warfare involves prayer but not all prayer involves spiritual warfare if I make myself understand, they are two different but necessary things. If we want to live healthy lives, if we want to heal from our wounds, if we want to battle past memories that afflict us, if we want to break emotional and mental ties, dependencies, fantasies, different things that captivate us and keep us tied to practices that we know that they are not of God and we want to resist but we cannot.

It can help to go to a Christian psychologist or a God-fearing psychologist, it can help to hear a sermon, it can help to do a spiritual reading that relates to our problem but there is nothing like going directly to the Throne of God and asking for help. from God to battle the things that we are fighting in our lives, prayer is absolutely essential.

What Manuela's testimony illustrates to us is that there are things that we are battling against sometimes and we don't know that they are of demonic-spiritual origin. Psychologists say: this is not a neurological problem, this is a problem of your emotions, this is a problem of a trauma from the past, it is true, but ultimately there is a spiritual root that we have to rebuke and dry up, and we have to to seek spiritual power and resources.

The Word says that it is not with a sword or with an army, it is not with force, it is not with power but with My Holy Spirit says the Lord. Christians, all the fights we fight have to be fought in the spirit and with the help of God's resources, we never fight with weapons.

The Bible says again also: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the destruction of strongholds" what are those strongholds? they are the spiritual and demonic strongholds. But it says that they are not carnal, why are they not carnal? the weapons of our military are not material, they are not psychological, they are not sociological, they are not political, they are not financial, they are not related to human relations, but rather they are powerful in God, in other words they have a spiritual dimension; prayer, fasting, reading the Word, applying the principles of the Kingdom of God, gathering together, worshiping God in an aggressive way, these are the weapons we use to fight our battles.

They are powerful in God to tear down, to destroy, to snatch away the strongholds that want to do damage in our life, our family, our marriages, our work, our emotions, our memories, all these things are under the oppression of the devil. The world is, says the Word, under the evil one.

And that is why it is difficult many times to separate prayer from spiritual warfare but it is possible at times. I hope to at least talk about prayer as the platform on which there are other things, it can be aggressive, militant worship, that breaks ties, it can be prayer of war and rebuke of demons, it can be positive confession, it can be a prophetic declaration .

When I tell Manuela, for example, to dress in a feminine outfit, it is because by doing so she is making a prophetic statement, it is a symbol. I love prophetic acts because they are actions through which you are rehearsing and symbolizing a message and a spiritual principle.

And there are many ways. For example: a person who is stingy and materialistic must learn to be generous and to give because he does so as a prophetic act. When a person is giving; It doesn't have to be to the Church, it can be to a person in the family, a gift, to write a little check to a youngster who is studying or whatever. So when you give and you feel the crack of the elbow when you bend to give (laughter) you are doing a prophetic act, you are physically declaring a principle with your body, very powerful.

A man who has doubts about his masculinity look, let him find the most masculine suit he can find around. Don't go for one of those trendy skinny jeans or whatever, no, that's fine if you feel good in that then wear it, but go for the fattest, macho suit you can get. If you want go to a military store and buy yourself a fatigue suit with a game revolver here on the waist, but do a prophetic act.

If you are afraid of driving, look, take driving lessons and go crawling to the motor vehicle and take the test and get into that car shaking, and pray to the Lord that no one gets in your way until you break that fear because if you don't you will be bound by fear. If you are afraid of flying join the Jet Blue Flyers Club and fly all week if you can until the fear goes away.

It is that you have to break the ties with prophetic acts. One of the things that you have to do, in other words, is that you have to execute with your body. Our body is a magnet, our body is a power generator, you have to use your body. A young man who has problems with masculinity issues for example, learn to move like a man, start talking, start acting. Men are square, women are round. Let your gestures be square, angular and start in faith, and that is an act of faith that you are going to be saying certain things to the devil and to your body too, and then start moving.

If you are a timid person, look, sit in the first seat and when someone asks you to pray, come trembling with the knee and stand in front and say three words, and run again and sit then until the fear goes away. The children of God have to learn to use our mouth, our body in ways that break the ties.

If you have mental problems with sexual fantasies and such things, don't watch those exciting and provocative soap operas on television, don't move next door to a brothel, do you understand? (laughter) move next door to a Church, be like Samuel and live in the temple because that is one way you are countering those influences in your life. We have to be wise in the use of spiritual skills.

We are people of power and authority. Let's not wait to feel things to execute them, execute them in the Name of the Lord and live a prophetic life continuously because that's what it is. If you are a sensual person, for example, sisters, if God has endowed you with a high level of sensuality, then look, dress chastely, do not dress provocatively because what you have to do is give your body a message: hey, I am a woman of God.

I was recently counseling a brother and he has problems with women. I've heard of some out there having those problems. And this man has destroyed his marriage, his life, his finances, and the devil when he is getting well because he loves the Lord sends him a skirt around to entangle him and get him off the right track, married. So I was advising him, talking to him and he had three shirt buttons open and a gold chain here.

I told him: look, the first thing you have to do is, that chain, take it off, and button up even two of the buttons (laughs) because with that you are giving yourself and the women around you: hey, I'm cool, I'm willing to negotiate a little bit. And he was surprised and told me: wow, this is the first time they have told me this, my wife is the first to tell me that she wants to see me sexy, look, she is paying the price there, the man is looking sexy and is reaping his actions , then look: dress soberly, and the man understood. I hope, he's not here right now but I hope he took my advice.

Because we are always sending messages to ourselves, to the devil and to the people around us, so we have to be careful to live a life that reflects our values and strengthens what we believe in, because everything is spiritual. This is a magnetized world, everything is energy, everything is magnet, everything is negative or positive, and so we cannot live like innocent bunnies in a jungle populated by beasts that want to tear us apart and devour us, we have to walk wisely.

The Word says that we must be meek as doves and cunning, that is, wise, strategic, like the serpent that plans its interventions very well, we have to walk very well as children of God. And these are spiritual tools that help us in our struggles with the sin that besets us, the Bible says. There is a hunter called Satan who is always around, he says, like a roaring lion.

So the Word invites us, it says that there is an adversary twenty-four hours a day. Today it is not fashionable to preach about Satan but he is always there, he is alive and well like the first day in Eden, and he wants to destroy everything that God wants to do in our lives, he is always there, so we must To be astute, you have to consider the presence of Satan in the things we do and how we move in the world. It is not that you are paranoid seeing the devil even in your soup, but you do know that you are walking in a neighborhood full of crime and that you have to always be looking around who is approaching you and what they are trying to do, that it is part of the hygiene of the child of God.

That is why prayer on these elements is very important and I am only going to write down now because I want to finish on time, but we cannot change our defects or resolve the deforming experiences of the past by ourselves. The beginning of prayer is that, that by myself I cannot do anything, by myself and my resources I cannot get out of the quagmire in which I have gotten or have gotten myself, I live in a well that cannot I can go up, I can't climb it, I'm trapped. Our struggles, our distortions many times will not respond to our own initiative because we cannot.

One of my favorite verses of Scripture, Psalm 40 verses 1 to 3, which talks, incidentally, about the importance of prayer when we find ourselves in a quagmire, when we find ourselves in a situation that we don't know how to resolve, when we We find ourselves in a habit that we don't know how to get out of, when we find ourselves trapped in a situation that does not obey human or professional initiatives, how do you get out of those ties?

The psalmist says: "I waited patiently for the Lord and he brought me out of the pit of despair, out of the miry mud. He set my feet on the rock and straightened my steps; then he put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God; many will see this and They will fear and trust in the LORD."

Here you have a short biography of a person who has been tied up in some situation, listen to me: it could be a marital problem, a problem with a child, a financial problem, a tie that has been going on for years, a depression that won't let go, memories that afflict you from the past, offenses that you received in your childhood, abuse that marked you, traumatized you, low self-esteem, anger, resentment and resentment, sadness that you don't know where it comes from. All these things are part of the repertoire of mental and emotional illnesses that we are always suffering from in our lives. And sometimes we feel like we're in a hole and I don't know how to get out of it, we feel stuck, right?

One of the things is to wait, "I waited patiently for the Lord." Do you know that when you pray you are not necessarily going to immediately receive the answer you need? Prayer often has to be long term. If you think that while you're eating a bowl of cereal and you're saying, "oh Lord help me out of this trouble" and with your mouth full of cereal and milk and then you go back again and turn on the TV, and continue watching the show that I was looking at going to, no, that's not it. Prayer has to be intentional, it has to be systematic, it has to be persistent and it has to be long-term, we could stop at each of those things.

But many times prayer requires a long time from you, I call that spiritual radiotherapy. Why radiotherapy? because there are many situations in life, especially emotional ones, that took a long time to get inside of us and will take a long time to get out of us.

I believe that practices such as homosexuality or long-term defects such as depression change the wiring of the brain, they operate on the neurology of the human being. I'm not saying this necessarily, many psychologists, today with the growing understanding of the brain and human neurology, and the interplay between biology and neurology, are two very different but closely related things, it has been discovered that the brain is a thing as plastic and that adjusts and responds to events and practices.

An event in our life can become a habit, a habit can become a dependency, an addiction, and an addiction becomes neurology. The brain goes, by force of continuously practicing something, the brain adjusts and then establishes connections with respect to that habit until your neurology is already programmed according to it, because the brain has many trillions of tiny departments and it does like some apps, some applications specifically with respect to a practice.

There are people who have a homosexual app, there are people who have a resentment app, there are people who have a hard-mouthed and bad-talking app, there are people who have an app in their brains for violence and another for verbal abuse. They are like small neurological constellations that are configured to support habitual behavior.

So to undo that it takes time because it's neurology. God can do it and change it overnight but then there are relationships that one has made, friendships, places that one frequents, all of that now has to be broken too, long the road. The healing is there but there are a number of things around that the devil also does to trap the little spider and keep it in the trap, and you have to break all those things too, it is painful but you have to do it so that the work is completed as well.

So that is why many times you will take time to pray, I call that spiritual radiotherapy because radiotherapy is, for example, when there is a tumor in a person, if you have cancer or something like that many times the doctors determine that It is not possible to operate directly on that tumor because it is mixed with nerves and other parts or it is in a delicate place in the organism, it cannot be reached or it is scattered, so what they do is they apply energy to it that attacks the total section where the tumor is located and the things associated with that tumor so that radiation, which is ultimately energy, applied to that area wears it down, kills it and dries it up, because if the surgeon comes in with a knife and tries to cut, he will cut many things around that may be vital for that person's survival, then they apply radiation therapy.

The thing about radiotherapy is that it is repetitive and it is for a while, and that is why I call it spiritual radiotherapy, because there are situations in our life, there are ties, there are problems, there are circumstances that will only answer a prayer to long term and requires patience, and waiting until one begins to see the solution.

If you suffered from depression years ago and all your life you suffered from depression you organized your life around your depression, and you are going to need God to rewire your brain and it is going to take time. You are going to have to change the way you speak, your way of reacting, your habits, how many hours you sleep, what kind of music you listen to, the words that come out of your mouth, you have to reprogram your world and all that is going to help that damn wiring to reconfigure and come out, and the brain will then develop new connections, new associations until you can then come out a new creature of what God has already done in your body.

And that's why prayer is long-term, and prayer has to be part of our life, you have to bathe your life in prayer, everything you do has to reflect prayer. You should not leave your house without first having entrusted your life, your family, your work, the day's program to the Lord in prayer, bathe, saturate in that atmosphere of prayer and spirit what you are going to do that day, bless his family, his marriage.

Prayer is not a pill that you take once in a while when you have a headache, prayer is not like aspirin. You only take an aspirin when you have a headache, right? No. Prayer has to be more like the food that you eat three or sometimes more times a day because your body is always in need of nutrients and you are always consuming nutrients. You have to make a habit of your life, a prayer practice.

All the important things, all the struggles in your life you have to immediately sacralize through prayer. The apostle Paul says: pray without ceasing, pray without ceasing means that you have to pray as you breathe.

How is it that one prays without ceasing? Praying without ceasing means that you are in the car and from time to time prayers come out of your mouth. You are sleeping and you woke up at three in the morning because you are not sleepy, instead of sitting there depressing and thinking about the bills you cannot pay, pray, there quietly on your pillow, direct your mind towards prayer and do not speak very hard so that you don't wake up your husband, your wife, but pray and you will see that when you remember you fell asleep. For me the best sleeping pill is to pray, when I come to see I got lost and prayer calms me down, still.

The apostle Paul says: "Do not be anxious about anything, but let all your requests be known before God in everything by prayer and supplication, and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord."

So one has to live submerged in a fluid of prayer, an atmosphere of prayer. The Christian who does not pray does not grow brothers. It is incredible, but prayer is one of the most powerful resources that we have and because it is so essential, we underestimate it and do not practice it so much, because prayer is the oxygen of spiritual life. A Christian who does not pray does not expect to have authority and strength before God and the devil. So we have to push ourselves and become athletes of prayer. Along with food, with the bath, with the exercise, prayer has to come before all these things.

If you want something, develop a habit or reach a goal, or improve your life on some frontier, bathe it in prayer and every day come before the Lord with supplications and reminders to the Lord, bless that aspect of your life, bless it and give it radiation spiritual, nourish it with prayer.

You will see that the things that you pray for consistently are the things that prosper in your life and it will be long term many times, and you will notice that wow look, the little plants are growing. If you take a plant and you put miracle grow on it, how many sisters here know what miracle grow is? the planters, right? miracle grow. That is a substance that you put on plants and it is truly miraculous, you see the difference.

But if you take a plant and add a little bit just one day and you forgot, thinking that this is going to grow, forget that it will not have the effect because you have to add it every day until the sediment of that nutrient increases and then the little plant begins to be able to absorb it. If you do this and buy a bottle of vitamins and take one and say, oh yeah, and put the bottle down and put it back, forget it, you wasted $5.7, you have to take it every day because your body is going to need a lot of it. of those little pills until the minimum percentage that has a nutrient pill begins to accumulate in your body so that then the body has enough to be able to extract it and use it.

The pills that you take most of them are pure flour and other things, they only have a little bit of nutrients because you cannot take it all in one go, it is little by little, that your body increases, and that is what happens with the prayer.

One sentence leaves a grain of nutrient, another prayer another grain until it becomes a reserve and then you have to maintain the reserve because your body and your life will need it continuously. Prayer has to be a continuous thing in one's life many times a day, every day.

When you're sitting in your car, when you're sitting on the toilet instead of reading a magazine, pray to the Lord, God doesn't mind that. Forgive me, I know that I already lost some of you there. Are you taking a bath while lathering up? pray to the Lord. Everything has to be, and that's what keeps the devil at bay because it's the only way, we have to have a prayer practice in our life. How many understand what I am saying?

Stand up, we are going to do what we are talking about, we are going to pray to the Lord. God has spoken to us this morning and we celebrate what God has done in our lives. May God make us a Church and a people of prayer because it is terribly needed in the time in which we live. This is a time where the devil has been given a lot of power to move and only the hardy and brave will survive.

Raise your hand before the Lord. Father: in the Name of Jesus help us to be men and women of prayer and to understand these spiritual principles Father of health and life.
