Isaiah 42:1 • Philippians 2:7
We dream of crowns, and thrones so high, A favored place, beneath Your eye. But a quiet whisper, ancient, deep, Reveals the path true souls must keep. Not grasping power, strength, or might, But emptying out, and stepping into light.
Oh, the Servant's heart, a chosen way, From brokenness to endless day. He emptied out, assumed the form, Endured the suffering, weathered the storm. And God upheld Him, glorified His name, A Kintsugi glory, born of sacred flame.
He was with God, in spirit, one, Yet left the heavens, for a human son. Born in the meekest, poorest style, Walked paths of sorrow, mile by mile. The cross, His baptism, deep and wide, Suffering's immersion, deep inside.
Can we drink the cup? Can we pay the cost? To lose ourselves, what seemed so lost? Father, humble me, break me, form my soul, Make my character, Christ-like, whole. That through Your grace, I might be used, My fractured vessel, gold-infused.
Oh, the Servant's heart, a chosen way, From brokenness to endless day. He emptied out, assumed the form, Endured the suffering, weathered the storm. And God upheld Him, glorified His name, A Kintsugi glory, born of sacred flame.
A name above all names, Every knee will bend, in earth and heaven. Through the fire, through the pains, His grace descends, forever given. Emptying, forming, A servant's prayer, we send, That His image within us, Will truly transcend.
