Summary: The speaker, Jim Yorgensen, begins by expressing his gratitude for being invited to preach at the church and introduces himself as a missionary who has worked in the Dominican Republic. He reads from Isaiah Chapter 40, verses 1 to 12 in Spanish, which speaks about the voice of comfort, restoration, preparation, and proclamation. He believes that God has called this church to build a large urban church in Boston, and to bring restoration, reformation, and change to the city. He encourages the congregation to be shining stars for Jesus, to prepare the way for the Lord, and to tear down the strongholds of the enemy. He shares his own testimony of being called to be a missionary in the Dominican Republic and reminds the congregation that even though it may not be easy, if they keep marching on, God will lead them in triumph in Christ.

God's call to build his kingdom is not easy and will involve tribulations and hard times, but with a warrior spirit and faith, God will lead us to triumph. God is preparing a team to bring reform to all areas of society and subject them to the lordship of Christ. This is a time to prepare for discipleship and receiving the power to bring about reform in the city. God wants to gather the true sheep and bring salvation to families. We should pray for our families' salvation and for a move of the spirit of God in this church. God is touching people and telling them it is time to be restored and enter their calling.

I want to give a special welcome to my brother Jim Jorgensen who, as his name sounds, is not necessarily a Latino, but from the heart he is Latino.

Jim, come this way. Jim has been a missionary in the Dominican Republic and my nephew Johnny who is a pastor there in the Dominican Republic has highly recommended him. Jim has had a fruitful ministry there in the Dominican Republic and is a servant of God who moves in the prophetic gift, he spent several years with his wife, who is a professor at a university here in Albany. She came to Boston this weekend because her daughter is starting her college career here in Boston. So we have invited him to share the word of the Lord, the ministry that the Lord has given him with us.

Give a big round of applause to Jim Yorgensen and if anyone gets me a second mic, here we are. And he speaks Spanish, so let's see if it's true. He tells me that he speaks Spanish. I'll see if it's true.

Amen. God bless you. Hallelujah! It is a great privilege for me to be here with you. I feel the presence of God very strong here and for me it is a pleasure to be able to meet your León de Judá church and meet its pastor Roberto and all these wonderful people and I feel the presence is flowing here in Boston. But I am here as your pastor told you I am moving my daughter from Albany to Boston and she is going to study at Emerson College and we are helping her with that. I receive my Spanish from the Dominican Republic.

Let us pray for him, brothers.

And I lived there from 93 to 99. I lived first in a field. His name is in Licea Medio de Manal up in Licé, near Santiago and the first three years I lived in Santiago and I had 6 very fruitful years for the Lord there and now I live in Albany but I always travel there almost 5 times a year doing mission work. So, that is an introduction in Spanish for you and now I am going to preach in English.

Give it up for our brother. What a bless. Good job, man, good job. Praise the Lord. Amen. Amen.

I want you to go to your Bibles today, Isaiah Chapter 40, verses 1 to 12. I'm going to read in Spanish. He says “console yourselves, comfort yourselves my people, says your God, speak to the heart of Jerusalem, tell her out loud that her time is fulfilled, that her sin is forgiven, that she has received double from the hand of Jehovah for all her sins. Voice that cries out in the desert, prepare the way for the Lord, make straight a highway in the solitude for our God. Every valley is raised and every mountain and hill is lowered and the crooked is straightened and the rough is smoothed.

And the glory of Jehovah will be revealed and all flesh will see it together. Because the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Voice that said shout, and I answered, 'what do I have to say out loud?' That all flesh is a servant and all its glory as a flower of the field. The grass withers and the flower withers because the wind of the Lord blew on it. Certainly the people are like grass, the grass withers, the flower withers, but the word of our God remains forever.

Rise on a high mountain, announcer of Zion, raise your voice loudly, announcing Jerusalem. Lift it up, do not fear, say to the cities of Judah, see here your God. Behold, the Lord, the Lord, will come with power and his arm will rule. Behold, his reward comes with him and his wages before his face, as a shepherd he will feed his flock. In his arm he will carry the lambs and in his bosom he will carry them. He will gently graze the newly calved. Who measured the waters with the hollow of his hand and the heavens with his span? With three fingers he anointed the dust of the earth and weighed the mountains with balances and the hills with weights?

We thank you Lord for your presence today. Move through your holy spirit. We pray in the name of Jesus that you anoint this message and that everyone who hears this message will be changed, transformed and blessed by your spirit. We thank you Lord and we give you all the glory and all the honor in Jesus name. Amen.

I want to talk to you today about 4 voices to build the Kingdom of God. I really believe when I was praying that the Lord showed me that this is a church that God is using to build his kingdom here in the city of Boston. And the Lord has called this church and has commissioned this church to build a large urban church in the city of Boston to bring forth a building that represents the Kingdom of God. God has strategically planted this church of yours at this time, in this place to do a mighty work on the part of his spirit to bring restoration, reformation, and change to light in this city, and the Lord has planted you at this time and in this station of the move of God.

And when we look at these Scriptures we can see 4 voices that the prophet Isaiah is speaking of. The first voice he speaks of is a voice of comfort and restoration. I really in my heart believe that there are many people when they hear the good news of the Gospel they have an idea that they want to blame and punish people and that they want to send people to hell and that they want them to be consumed in hell for all eternity .

But God is a God of mercy and justice and he does not want anyone to perish but wants them to be saved. He is a God of restoration and he is a God of hope and God wants to speak to the people right now, he has a message of restoration, consolation and hope for the people in Boston, for the people who are in this city God has this message that he wants to bring to his people. He wants to restore families, infiltrate all levels of society with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and bring to light his message of consolation and hope. Glory to God.

And the idea of God when he talks about restoration and we look to the Lord and we look at our sins, some of us focus on our sins and feel ashamed of where we've been and what we've done. And we feel ashamed of the past. But what we have to realize is that the voice of consolation, of restoration comes to give us a double portion of his spirit for the sins we have committed.

God wants to give us a double portion of his spirit, a double portion of restoration in our lives. There is a restorative presence. I feel in my spirit that God wants to restore families. He wants to do a work of his spirit. There is a movement of the holy spirit in this city and the Lord wants to speak to the people right here. He has not called you to Boston by accident, he has planted you, he has planned from the foundation of the world to put you in this city to be an instrument of restoration and consolation for the Kingdom of God. Amen.

There are people in this place to whom God is speaking right now and possibly in your life there is despair, there is perhaps depression, there are things in your life but God wants you to look and he wants you to receive today ministry and receive his voice of restoration, his voice of consolation and he wants to give you a double portion of his spirit for your sins, and he wants to use you more and better than you have ever imagined in your life. amen. Glory to God. Amen. Glory to the Lord.

The Lord is speaking to people and He is speaking specifically that He wants to use each person as the first remnant, your family, a family that serves the Lord. And he wants to use you to bring everyone else into the fold, so you can bring everyone else into the Kingdom of God and he wants to use you as a light. God hasn't called us to be super stars, but he has called us to be shining stars with their blazing glory, with the sparkle of Jesus on our faces, and the ability to broadcast God's presence wherever we go. Amen. Glory to God.

The second voice of building the Kingdom of God is a voice of preparation. God wants the way of the Lord to be prepared before him. When I see this church I see two things in this church. I see this church as a great church of love, but I also see this church as a powerful church in intercession and in spiritual warfare and God is speaking to this church and is giving them the mantle to destroy, to tear down the powers of the devil.

There are many strongholds of Satan in this city and you don't have to walk the streets for more than 5 minutes to sense the strongholds, to feel the spirits. One can realize from the spirits, we are here to tear down the strongholds of the enemy. And God has called you by the name Lion of Judah because God calls the Lion of Judah as the first tribe, the tribe of Judah that goes to battle. And he sends them out first so he can bring victory. He can bring victory, he can make the rough places smooth so that the Kingdom of God can come to this city. Amen. Glory to God.

There are people in this church, God wants to speak to you and tell you 'I have put you in places that are now difficult, now they are difficult, people are not open to the Gospel, they are not open to the things of God , but God has called you to prepare the way of the Lord so that rough ways are smoothed and crooked things are made straight. Amen. Amen. This is what God is doing in this church.

There are many people who come into this church and are twisted spiritually and God has led them towards the justice of God, to be a holy people of God. And when that voice of restoration comes, it can break through the hard and difficult places and bring light where there are dark places so that the Gospel can be proclaimed.

My testimony and my call to the Dominican Republic about 18 years ago, my wife and I were in prayer and we were asking God, Lord, 'what do you want us to do with our lives?' associate pastor of a church and I knew that God had something else for me to do, we began to pray, we prayed for about 6 months and God spoke to us. And the first thing he told me was that he wanted me to be a missionary and that was not something I wanted, I wanted to be a pastor of a church. But the Lord spoke to me, I want you to be a missionary and then when we were praying two days later we asked the Lord, Lord, what country do you want us to go to? And he spoke to us and told us, I want you to go to the Dominican Republic and I am going to use you as an instrument to bring my lordship to the Dominican Republic. I want to use you as an example to bring unity in the churches in the Dominican Republic.

And I said to the Lord, 'Lord, how can you use me? I don't speak Spanish, I'm of Swedish and Norwegian descent, I don't like rice and beans. How are you going to be able to use a gringo like me in the Dominican Republic? And the Lord told me to obey him. My wife and I were obedient and for five years we prayed that the Lord would take us to the Dominican Republic.

And in 1993 we were finally sent by our church to the Dominican Republic. God fulfilled all the prophecies and the call that he had planted in our lives and he is using us in the Dominican Republic and in many nations to help many people to preach the Kingdom of God. Amen. Glory to God.

Sometimes when one has a call from God we think it will be easy, just because God is in something does not mean it is easy. It does not mean that everything will turn out the way you want things to turn out. There are going to be hard times, there are going to be hard times, but when you have the spirit of a warrior and you have a spirit, no matter what, you're going to keep marching on, you're going to keep going and you're going to see that the hard places are going to be smoothed out. crooked things will be made straight if you stick with it. God will lead you in triumph in Christ Jesus. He will lead you in triumph in Christ. Amen.

This year has been a year of many tests. April 8 of this year he had an accident. His car flipped over three times, he flipped over three times on the way home from Rochester and ended up in a quagmire, he was in the hospital for over a week and we were told by the doctors that he had received a fractured spine and might not I would walk But when you walk with the Lord, God always leads you to victory. A week after that accident my daughter was walking and now she is in college again and she is healed. Amen. Glory to the Lord. Hallelujah!

Tribulations come to us, trials come to us but we have an attitude, nobody, but nobody is going to stop us from building the kingdom, we are going to prepare the way, we are going to make the rough places smooth. God is going to build his church and the gates of hell will not prevail against his church. Amen. Glory to God. Glory to the Lord.

There are people in this church who are in a stage of preparation and it is very difficult because it is not possible for you to see the end that you have in mind. All you can see is the roughness of the road. All you can see is the darkness ahead of you. But the Lord wants you to know that he is with you, and that you need to continue the work and that he is with you and that you will see the rough places smoothed out, and that he has led you to be more than conqueror, more than conqueror and that he He is going to use you to bring his kingdom in your work, in your school and in this city. You will see the Kingdom of God come. Amen. Give the Lord a round of applause. We get the word. Glory to God.

The third voice that we see here in this passage is a voice of reform, of reform. It says here in this passage that 'the grass withers and the flowers fade but the word of God lives forever'. And there is power in the word of God to reform cities, to reform places that have been taken over and possessed by the devil. And the Lord wants in these last days to reform society, reform government, reform the arts, reform sports, all areas of society and subject them to the lordship of Christ Jesus. Amen. Glory to the Lord.

And we can see, brothers, in the fifteenth century a man named Martin Luther got the revelation while he was reading the word of God in Abacuk where it says that the just shall live by faith. He received this word in his spirit and it exploded within him and this man was used to reform all of Europe and bring forth a mighty movement of the holy spirit. Amen.

When the words of God enter a place where there is darkness and the work of God plus the spirit of God can bring light and life to a place, to areas that have been infiltrated by darkness. God can bring forth his light. Amen. Glory to God.

The Lord is preparing people to do a great job here. There are many teachers here, there are lawyers, there are doctors, there are construction workers, laborers, there are businessmen, God is building, building a team, building a team to do a great job to bring to light and bring to light a reform In this city. And the Lord tells you today that you need to be discipled, you need to submit yourself under the word of God and under the teaching of God to receive the power to bring about the reform that God wants to bring to this city. Amen.

There are people, Christians who simply like to come to church and listen to a good message, they like to listen to a beautiful song and then they like to leave and come back and do the same thing every time they come. But God has not called you simply for that. He has called you to receive a discipleship to bring about and make reforms in this city. Amen.

And this is the time and this is the season that God is bringing everything that the church has been doing in these last 5 years, this is going to be accelerated, it is being accelerated to bring double growth to bring to light a reform movement in this society, in this city. Amen. Amen. We receive it.

I am speaking this to you prophetically from the holy spirit. I am speaking this to you because the holy spirit has shown me this and I am speaking this to tell you that this is the time to prepare, to prepare to receive the discipleship that God wants to bring. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord. Glory to the Lord.

I feel in my spirit that the Lord is moving in a mighty way. I feel in my spirit that God is preparing a people to do great things. And he is bringing people to strategic places and you may think 'I am nobody' but when the holy spirit touches you and prepares you, he is going to launch you into a service that you have never carried out before. And he's going to use you as a vehicle of restoration, as a vehicle of reform in this city. A round of applause to the Lord. Glory to God. Hallelujah! Amen. Amen.

And the fourth voice of building the Kingdom of God is a voice to gather the sheep. And in these times God wants to gather the true sheep and wants to attract them to himself. I believe in my spirit that there is a gift of evangelism in this church and that in that gift of evangelism it will explode from this church and there will be a gathering of the sheep like never before. There's going to be multiplication in East Boston, in West Boston, in South Boston. Hallelujah! in the suburbs there will be a multiplication.

And there are many churches in the bowels of this congregation that are going to be planted in God's time according to God's plan. Amen. Amen.

And I feel in my spirit right now that there is an anointing to bring salvation. Like never before, God is going to open their families to Christ. He is going to bring the sons, he is going to open them, and his daughters too, he is going to open their fathers, their mothers, he is going to open doors to bring the Gospel to bring the sheep to light and enter them into the path of God, to the Kingdom of God. Those things he will make possible. Glory to the Lord. Hallelujah!

There are people right here who are receiving a charge in their spirit for members of their family, they are receiving in their spirit right now and they are becoming pregnant, impregnating with the souls of their loved ones in their spirit. God is doing a work and putting them into your hearts and your spirit, and right now the Lord wants to bring this out within you. And right now we are going to pray that these four voices of restoration, of reform in construction and edification that manifest in their lives, in this church.

I feel in my spirit a flow of the presence of God. The Lord wants to touch people and deliver a strong prayer spirit for your family in Jesus name. Hallelujah!

There is a burden right now that God wants to put on people in this church for these 4 voices to be fulfilled.

Now stand up right now and raise your hands and say to the Lord, 'Lord, I thank you that you have given me my family and you have given me a desire to see them saved and right now we pray for salvation of our families in building your kingdom. And right now we pray for a move of the spirit of God of consolation, of restoration, of hope, that comes out in the families in this church. And we thank you, oh God, for what you're doing, for what you're doing. Thank my Lord.

There are people right now that the Lord is touching, he is touching them, he is moving in your heart, in your spirit and he is telling you it is time to be restored. This is the time to receive consolation. It is the time to move and enter into your calling. And I have seen the desires of your heart, and I have seen the days that you have set, the things that you have set before me. And I tell you now, now put me first because I am bringing a movement of my spirit. I am tearing down strongholds of God over your life. Go to Spanish Version
