There is a world out there that is dying, and we as Christians have the medicine for its healing. Fighting the good fight of faith also means abandoning inertia and motivating ourselves to go out and seek the lost in the name of the Lord. Paul decided to remain in Corinth for more than a year preaching the Gospel after God told him in a vision one night: “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent; for I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to harm you, because I have many people in this city” (Acts 18:9–10). Corinth was a wicked city, twisted by sin; nevertheless, through the preaching of Paul and his missionary team, the church of Corinth became a thriving and outstanding church. The Lord knows His sheep and those who will become His sheep, so we cannot remain indifferent; we must help Him because we already know that His desire is for everyone to come to repentance and to His light.

What prevents us from doing so if we walk in the Spirit, who has given us the power to break through the barriers of darkness? Our own will! “For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love, and self-control” (2 Tim. 1:7).

Brothers and sisters in Christ, many times, when we take stock of our Christian life, we exclaim: If only I had known earlier! If I had known Christ years ago, how many mistakes I would have been spared! Consider that all around you there is a great multitude dreaming of hope, of being loved in a new dimension. Make up your mind to speak about Christ to that person, friend, relative, or coworker you have in mind and for whom you are praying to come to the feet of Christ. We have everything in our favor to fight and win the good fight of faith. Tell the Lord: “Send me!” May God bless you!
