Summary: Bearing fruit includes evangelism: sharing our faith and our experience with the Lord, inviting others to church, and presenting the gospel to them so that they may come to know Jesus Christ. In this time, God is calling both congregations and every believer to accelerate and intensify their evangelistic work. Although the world is going through dangerous times, God’s blessing and power rest upon His Church to reach the nations. Therefore, we must ask Him to make us fishers of men and make a concrete commitment in our workplaces, apartment buildings, and neighborhoods: distributing tracts, opening our homes, inviting people to church, and bearing witness to Christ, trusting that God will open doors for us to bear fruit.
Bearing fruit can also refer to evangelizing others, bringing other people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. One of the most important ways of bearing fruit is precisely by testifying about our faith, about our experience with the Lord, inviting people to church, inviting people to receive Christ into their hearts and surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus.
I believe that in this time God is calling the children of God to do the work of evangelism and to invite people to know Jesus Christ. I want to invite the Dios Habla Hoy community to make a commitment, wherever you may be, in your country, in your city, to look for ways to do so; ask God to make you an evangelist. God certainly wants to make us fishers of men.
I believe that God’s blessing is upon His Church in this time to bring other people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as never before in history, even though many say that the world is getting worse and that we are living in very dangerous times—and that is true to a certain extent—but in the same way, I also believe that God wants to give His Church in this twenty-first century a special power to conquer the nations before His Son comes.
I believe that, as never before, God is calling congregations and individual believers to testify about Jesus Christ. I believe that God wants—and I am saying this by a prophetic word from God—God wants the Church in this time, as never before, to accelerate and intensify its evangelistic activity.
Brothers and sisters, in the Name of Jesus I declare an evangelistic anointing over our Dios Habla Hoy community, and I encourage you to believe that you are receiving it and that, if you begin to testify about Jesus Christ, God will open doors for you to do that work and bear fruit as evangelists. I believe that this is one of the most important things right now, in this time, and I encourage believers to build themselves up through the comments they write on Dios Habla Hoy, to build themselves up spiritually in the area of evangelism.
Let us make a commitment in our workplaces, in the building where we live, and in our neighborhood to begin distributing tracts, inviting people to church, inviting them into our homes and presenting the Gospel to them, becoming evangelists who work twenty-four hours a day bringing souls to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and bearing fruit through this essential form of evangelism.
