live the truth with love
Isaías Rivera(Audio: Spanish)
SUMMARY:
In this sermon, the speaker reads from Ephesians 4 and discusses the challenges faced by Christians in the 21st century. He emphasizes the importance of walking worthily of the vocation with which one is called, with humility, meekness, and patience. The speaker also emphasizes the need for love in evangelism and outreach, and the importance of unity in the body of Christ. He encourages individuals to reflect on their own commitment to living worthily, and to recognize the privilege and responsibility of being chosen by God to work in various settings.
God reminds us to walk worthily of the vocation He has given us, even if it may seem insignificant or challenging. We must live the truth with love, not with judgment or condemnation. As the Body of Christ, we must work together and be united in spreading the Gospel and rescuing souls with love. We must be humble and recognize that all we have is from the Lord. When we change our perspective and live the truth with love, we infect others with it and fulfill God's mission in us and in the Body. We must commit ourselves to working for the Lord's cause and spreading the Gospel by grace. All glory and honor is His.I am going to read the first verses of chapter 4, read the Word of the Lord like this, and let us keep in mind that Paul is writing from prison: "I, therefore, a prisoner in the Lord, I beg you to walk worthy of the vocation with which you were called, with all humility and meekness, bearing with patience one another with love, eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace; one body and one Spirit, just as you were also called in the same hope of your vocation; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all; but to each of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.”
Therefore he says: ascending on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men. And from that that went up, what is it? but had also descended to the lowest part of the earth?”
