Summary: The Holy Spirit fills us with power not so that we may seek fame, spectacular experiences, or personal gain, but so that we may serve, set the oppressed free, proclaim hope to the poor, and transform our family, community, and nation. The anointing should be evident in a daily life of faith, integrity, discipline, good stewardship, generosity, and obedience. Knowing the truth is not enough: we must believe it and live it, replacing a mindset of slavery, poverty, and complacency with a mindset of the kingdom, purpose, and responsibility.
Each person needs to cultivate their own relationship with God, discern prophetic words, and receive confirmation before acting. Ministry, money, and projects must never displace the God who gives them or damage our family relationships. God desires to prosper us, but he values our lives more than our offerings.
Just as Peter was transformed from a coward into a courageous witness, we too can be changed by the anointing. We must forgive, let go of bitterness, believe that we have a purpose, and ask to be filled so that we may bless others. The kingdom is established when we abandon passivity, obey the call, and use what we have received to heal, serve, and change the world around us.
Over these past few Sundays, we have been preaching a series of sermons about the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and being filled with the Holy Spirit, and today we have an evangelist preacher, Pastor Dina Santamaría, who, to me and based on what I have heard about her, exemplifies that life filled with the Holy Spirit, that life which flows in the power of God.
And that is why I believe it is fitting and that this is the Lord’s time for us to have her here. She came to preach here at a women’s conference this weekend and has been visiting several churches. She has never been here in our congregation, so it is a great privilege for us to have her this afternoon. Give her a big round of applause to welcome her.
She—thank you, sister—Sister Santamaría has traveled through many parts of the world, Latin America and other countries, certainly here in the United States, and she has been a great blessing to many congregations and many lives that have heard her testimony, that have heard an anointed word from God, and she is a woman who, through her own life, can speak of the transforming and preserving power of the Holy Spirit.
And I have heard only a few little things about what God has done in her, but I remember something about how God rescued her in her very childhood. And this morning we were praying for a little baby who had been burned in a very horrific way in a terrible accident, and as you know, we bring people who come from Latin America to receive medical help here. When there are cases like this, our church has been able to have a ministry; we were praying for that little girl, asking God to preserve her and change her destiny, and we presented her to the Lord. And we believe in the God who changes destinies, just as He changed the destiny of Pastor Dina Santamaría, and today she is a woman who serves the Lord.
I believe that little baby—her name was Gabrielita—God is going to do something great in her life too. Because we have a mighty God. How many believe that this afternoon? Amen.
So let us flow in this preaching about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Let us prepare our hearts to receive the word of God this afternoon. Open your mind, open your soul right now, and ask the Lord to enable you to receive that seed that God is going to place in your life. How many want to receive from the Lord this afternoon? Amen.
Well, get ready now, sister. Welcome to the house of the Lord. This is your pulpit; preach as the Lord directs you. It is a pleasure to have you with us, and good day.
Thank you very much. It is a pleasure to be with you this morning—this morning-afternoon—but I believe we are in the Spirit.
This morning I was thinking, “What can I preach to you?” And I have brought a message from Acts 1:5 and 8, and it is about what the Holy Spirit is for, what is established through Him, and what the kingdom of God means.
And we are going to learn a great deal today because, as we look at the word of the Lord, it is the mouth of God opened to each one of us, and we declare that you are going to receive a word that will change and transform you.
We are here today not by chance, but because God has a purpose for our lives. I have been ministering from Atlanta to Laredo, Nuevo Laredo, Laredo, and San Antonio. Well, this year has also included a tour through South America; next month I am going to Spain, to Europe. And there are so many places to preach and not enough time. I fill my crusade schedule a year in advance, and the truth is that the year is always too short. I am going to preach until December 18, when I step away to take care of business, because I have stores in Venezuela, where I live, and God has given me two companies, but I never devote time to them because my time is for the Lord, to preach the gospel.
But God has given me people; He has given me a business partner and managers in every store, and that has enabled me to keep moving forward. And someone says, “It’s a good thing, Dina, that you have businesses, because when the offering falls short, you take money from the business.” And I say, “No, no, no, it is the other way around. I started a business because God pays so well that there comes a point when you say, ‘Should I put it in the bank, where they give me next to nothing, or would it be better to invest it and reinvest it, invest it and reinvest it?’” And I gave offerings and tithed, and the more I gave and tithed, the more money I had.
So I made a decision. Do I give it to the poor? Tomorrow they will be hungry. We can distribute all the money to the poor, end up just like them, and tomorrow they will be hungry again, because it is bread for today and hunger for tomorrow. Do we give them the fish, or do we teach them to fish? So I made a decision: I am going to start businesses to give people jobs, and they will have food every month. They are going to produce, and they will not hold out their hands to beg, but to produce. And that led me to open the stores.
And God gave me the right staff, because I tell those who are preachers, “Never go into business unless God sends you,” because if God did not provide me with the right people, they would steal the shoes off my feet—or rather, my socks without taking off my shoes. I would not be able to stick out my tongue because they would steal that too. Because I leave everything in their hands.
I have a secretary whom I leave signed checks with, without an amount or a name. Why? Because when I am not there, how are the payments made? How do things get done? But God has given me those right people who will not steal even five cents from you, and besides, they are afraid. I said to one of my employees, “Steal from me; I won’t even notice.” She said to me, “No, with that tongue of yours—you make one declaration and my hands will shrivel up.” And I have had people who stole from me, but when they did, all the employees became afraid, because things go worse for them than for a thieving cat: they get beaten even under the tongue.
And so God protects you, and God takes care of your things, and if they steal from me, I do not cry, because there is enough even for a thief.
Truly, Jesus had a thief who went around with Him, and Jesus knew that he regularly stole from Him, and even so, He gave him the money bag, because there is room even for a petty thief in the kingdom of God.
And you—when God is with you, the devil may steal your finances, but he leaves you with the millionaire God, and you become a millionaire again, so there is no problem.
We are in God’s hands, and we have victory. Mind you, we must be good stewards of the things of God. I have computerized cash registers; I take inventory every fifteen days; and besides, when I am in hotels, I go online and review all my accounts: What was the money spent on? I do not—nothing is filed away until it has my signature. When I arrive in Venezuela for three days, I say, “Let me see each store’s sales, day by day, the checks and vouchers,” and I keep track of everything because He has also given us the authority and wisdom to know how to handle and administer the things of the kingdom.
And sometimes we evangelicals are too trusting and say, “Well, the anointing of the Holy One will take care of it for me.” No! We also need to exercise control over our lives—discipline and order. Disorder leads to theft; we need to do that. So we must prepare ourselves with the mindset of entrepreneurs. We are tired of being laborers. God wants to give us a governing mindset, a business mindset, a mindset that leaves behind earning slaves’ wages so that we become the owners of our own things.
A sister said to me, “Sister, pray for me, because I have a boss who owns a restaurant, and I am the cook, and people like the way I cook, but he has not given me a raise in years.” She said to me, “Ask God with me to give me a raise.” And I said to her, “Are you foolish? Are you out of your mind?” And she said, “Why?” I said to her, “How can you pray for them to raise your salary? Why don’t you pray for God to give you your own restaurant, and instead of making your boss rich—the one who only comes by to see how you are cooking—you will become a millionaire with your own hands? I am going to pray for God to take that spirit of slavery away from you and give you an entrepreneur’s mindset.” And I prayed.
When I returned a year later, she had two restaurants, and all the customers who had been with her boss came over to her because she was the one who did the cooking. So God wants to change that mindset in us, and it will be transformed through the word.
We go around repeating and saying, “The truth will set us free,” but I want to tell you that the truth does not set you free merely because you know it; the truth sets you free when you believe that truth.
Someone said, “The truth that you know and believe will set you free; the truth that you know and believe will set you free,” because the truth—the church knows that God brings prosperity, but it is in debt; it knows that God heals, but it goes around sick; it knows that God gives victory, but it goes around defeated; it knows that God gives joy, but sometimes its face looks so sour that you have to put fire and anointing into it so that—I sometimes say it looks as though they were baptized in cement instead of water, and yet the Bible speaks of the joy that salvation produces. So we truly need to believe the truths found in the Bible, not merely know them, but believe them. And today God is going to give us truths, and if you believe them, you will be able to be free. Amen.
Let us open the word of the Lord to Acts, chapter 1, verse 5 and following. Where is the word? Acts, chapter 1, verse 5. When you are ready, say amen.
And we will begin reading Acts, chapter 1, verse 5. It says as follows—tell the person next to you, “Buy yourself a Bible; buy yourself a Bible so you can read it.”
You know that I always say this, and people always laugh, because there is no place in the world—or in the church—where someone should go to church without a Bible.
When my business partner and I go together, she says to me, “Oh, you’re bringing a Bible, so I won’t bring one.” So I am mean: I sit down to eat and say to her, “I have a plate, so you don’t eat because you don’t have a plate.” “No,” she says, “I’ll get my own plate to eat.” You don’t eat from mine—no, there is not enough for me. So let each person have their own Bible so they will know that it is the word of the Lord.
What if we open a comic book and you think it is the Bible? That is not right; this is the word of the Lord.
Acts 1:5 says as follows: “…for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Therefore, those who had come together asked Him, saying, ‘Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?’ And He answered them, ‘…It is not for you to know the times or the seasons…’” In other words, He was more diplomatic, but what He wanted to tell them was, “What business is it of yours when this is going to happen?” But He told them diplomatically, saying, “…It is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father has appointed by His own authority, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth…”
They said, “Are You going to restore the kingdom to Israel now?” He said, “What business is it of yours? Go up to the upper room.”
Today we are going to explain what happened after the upper room, how the kingdom was established, and how the Roman Empire fell without using any weapon other than the weapons of the anointing and the Spirit of God.
Bow your head with me and say, “Yes, Lord Jesus, today I receive this word with joy and gladness. I now bind every argument that rises against it, and I declare that I will understand the word, that it will change me, establish me, comfort me, and bring me revelation. I am fertile ground, and this seed will bear fruit. There will be nothing and no one who can snatch it away from me, in the name of Jesus. Amen and amen.”
I always say something: when we come to the house of the Lord, we do not come to receive what we want, but what God knows we need. One day a sister said, “Why don’t you preach to us about the Antichrist and the Great Tribulation?” And I said to her, “What for? You are already in the Great Tribulation. Why do you want me to frighten you more than you already are?” Another brother said, “Teach me about the Antichrist,” and I said to him, “Are you going to stay behind with him?” He said, “No.” “Then why do you want to find out what is going to happen to him?”
It is good to know, but rather than preparing for the future, you must prepare for the present, because what one does in the present affects the future. Preparing to go to heaven is more important for living on earth, because when you enter heaven, you will have the mind of Christ and will no longer have the human mind; but it is here that we have the human mind, which must be renewed by the word so that we may come to know what God has for us.
Heaven is beautiful; I visited it. I went there three times. God took me to paradise; it is spectacular. In fact, those of us who went up there do not want to return, and we cry because we want to die—not because we are disappointed, but because we believe that the only thing that can take us up there faster is death.
Therefore, those of us who know heaven—none of us wants to come back from there. Nevertheless, heaven is wonderful, but the earth is wonderful too when you walk with Jesus. I believe I began eternity in 1978. I am not waiting to die to enter eternity; I am already in eternity. I am not waiting to die to find victory; I am already living in victory. I am not waiting to die for Jesus to come and see me; He has already visited me in person eleven times, until He told me, “I am not coming back anymore; just believe.”
But there comes a time when you will stop seeing so many things in order to live by faith, though there is a time when God brings revelation into your life. I have heard His audible voice; He has visited me and taken me to heaven, and He makes you experience many things because of the kind of ministry He is going to give you and because of the trial that is going to arise. And all the experiences accumulated during those days strengthen you when the trial comes.
There are people who perhaps will never go to heaven until the day they die; nevertheless, by faith, they know that paradise exists, and others of us know it exists because we have seen it from our own experience. However, neither are you lesser nor am I greater; rather, God has given each person experiences. Why can’t I say that we are more spiritual? Or that you are less spiritual? No, because sometimes... I know a man who is extremely rude, terribly rude; what’s more, he has a whole lot of mistresses, and one day he was at a witch’s place. His girlfriend, his mistress, took him to the witch, and the witch made him... the witch levitated and made this fellow levitate—tremendous witchcraft—and while he was levitating, she said to him, “You will be a great servant of Satan, and you are going to do... you have the talent to serve the devil.” And she gave this man a prophecy from Satan and told him, “But you are going to die. Be careful, because you are going to die, but you will have life after that.” And she spoke to him about what was going to happen to him.
A week later he was shot seven times, went to the hospital, and literally died. The doctors said, “Completely dead,” and he died. But I know that man, and do you know what he told me? That when he died, instead of going to hell, he went to heaven. You say, “How?” If he is involved in witchcraft, has mistresses... how did he go to heaven? And he saw the third heaven and described it to me just as I know it; I know he is not lying to me. And he told me, “You know? I went to heaven and saw Christ face-to-face, and I saw my father. My father never went to an evangelical church, but in his ignorance he sought God in his own way, do you understand?” And he says, “I saw my father in paradise, and he is younger than when he died, and he has such a... his smile is tremendous, his countenance is full of joy. And Jesus told me, ‘Your father is here in this place. I have plans for your life, and you will know me and love me and be mine forever.’”
And he saw Christ. And I know a pastor who died and went to hell—how do you like them apples?—and he is also a friend of mine. And the Lord brought him out of hell and told him, “I am going to give you an opportunity to align yourself with my will, because during these years you have wasted your time. The Word has been preached for money or for whatever reason, and people have been converted, but you are not saved.” And God told him, “But I will give you an opportunity so that your final days may be victorious, so that you may sanctify yourself before me and be free.”
So you are left terribly confused. That is why the Bible says that salvation belongs to Jehovah and that no one has the right to say who is saved and who is condemned. That is why I laugh when preachers say, “At my campaign, 5,000 were converted...” Only God knows who has truly been converted. I stopped saying that so many people were converted at my campaign. Why? Because only God really knows who will finish the race they began; only God knows who will truly become holy.
How many people have come to my campaign who did not go up to the altar, did not raise their hand, and yet became established in the faith? And years later, when I return, they are already pastors’ wives, or they are pastoring, or they are in ministry. And how many people who raised their hands never came back and are happily wallowing around with Satan?
So you ask yourself, who really has the right to know another person’s heart? There are brothers and sisters who say, “Sister, if God reveals something about me to you, call me collect and I’ll pay for the call,” as though... I had a crystal ball to know what God has for you.
God has given us the prophetic anointing, and if God reveals it to us, hallelujah. But if the revelation does not come, simply because we call ourselves prophets, we do not actually have an obligation to know what God has for you. Prophets make mistakes. Eli said to Hannah, “You drunk woman, drink your wine and get out of here—go home”... and he was a prophet, and he was a man who was in the house of the Lord.
Therefore, each one of us has to seek our own relationship with God and our intimacy with the Lord. It is true that God uses prophets, God uses evangelists, and God uses pastors, but each of you has the obligation to seek your own relationship with God. You cannot continue living on the faith of the anointed or living on a prophet’s prophetic word, because the prophet leaves. Look, I know so many prophets in this nation who utter one lying prophecy after another and tell such enormous lies that even in the flesh you can tell they are lying. Yes, you do not even have to be spiritual to know they are telling a lie.
So the church must not be afraid; it has to mature in that area in order to enter the dimension of the kingdom and truly recognize that you have a triumphant entrance into the house of the Lord, that the veil of the temple is torn, and that you can come to where Daddy is, talk with him, sit before him, and ask for whatever you want because you are a beloved child.
You have freedom because the veil is torn. You... “Oh, Sister Dina, God hears you more.” No, God is not deaf to you while listening to me more because he is so finely tuned to me that there really is no interference and he hears me. I mean, as a prophet once did: he was giving a prophecy and told a sister, “Thus says the Lord: You are going to marry that man over there.” She said, “No, brother, I’m married.” And do you know what the prophet said to avoid embarrassment? He said, “Brothers and sisters, be quiet, because I’m getting interference. I’m hearing strangely.” In other words, the satellite was a little crooked and he wasn’t hearing properly.
So it is tremendous. Therefore, if you simply go around... A sister tells me, “The prophet told me that I have to go preach in India, and I don’t feel even the slightest thing for India. I don’t even want to preach to the Indian across the street, much less go to India.” And I said to her, “Don’t you feel the calling?” She said, “No.” “Then don’t be foolish; don’t go.” “But the prophetess told me...” “Then let her go, if she loves India so much.” Because when God gives you a word through someone, there has to be confirmation in your spirit. Perhaps at first it will make you angry, as when God told me, “Go to Mexico,” during the war in El Salvador. The Lord told me, “Go to Mexico,” and I said, “Why Mexico? Mexico has peace; it doesn’t need me. My country is at war. Here blood flows like rivers, and I am brave, and I will go where no man wants to go. I will go into the mountains and dance the zapateado in the middle of the war, but I will preach the gospel.” I said, “Lord, I am going to establish your glory in my nation, and I am going to see the springtime of the Spirit arise in my country, and you can ride with me into the mountains or wherever.” And I showed God that I could go where no one else went, and during those months of ministry I went into places where no one else would go to preach the gospel. And I told the Lord, “Don’t send me to Mexico.” And I remember there was a circle of people weeping and saying, “Oh, Mexico!” The prophets in the church were weeping, “Oh, Mexico!” And I would say, “These people are crazy. What do they care about Mexico?” And there on my knees I would oppose them, saying, “Don’t listen to them. Oh, El Salvador! Oh, my land! Oh, my orphaned children! Oh, Lord, the pain of my nation!” And they would say, “Oh, Mexico! Pray for Mexico! Cry out...” I would say, “What do I care?” And I would say, “Oh, El Salvador!” And I would say, “Look at my country.”
And I was opposing them, but do you know what? A prophet stepped out, came over, laid hands on me, and told me, “Thus says the Lord: Arise and go to the Mexican Republic.” “Ohhh, Mexico!” I said, “If it makes me angry that they pray for Mexico, now it makes me even angrier that I have to go there to preach.” I mean, it was not because I disliked Mexicans, but because, to me, Mexico was at peace in 1980 while my country was shedding blood like a river. Therefore, I would say, “These Salvadorans are weeping over a country that is not at war, while our orphaned children are in jails because there is nowhere to put them, there are so many orphans. They are weeping over a nation that is not going through what El Salvador is going through, and they are Salvadorans. Can’t they weep over their own land? Doesn’t Jerusalem come first and Judea afterward?”
And I was furious, but when the Lord told me, “Arise and go to the Mexican Republic,” I said, “If praying for them makes me angry, I am even less willing to go preach to them. Who comes to El Salvador to preach?” And I was so upset with God that I said, “This isn’t from God; she is a false prophetess. I am going to pray for my country, and I am going to preach in my Jerusalem. I will begin with my Jerusalem.”
And I was there arguing with God when a woman came to my house. She told me, “God gave me directions to your house—the house number, the street, how to turn right—he gave me everything, and I have come to tell you that thus says the Lord: If you do not go to the Mexican Republic... you look like a female guerrilla fighter, and they will mistake you for one and kill you. Either you leave this nation to preach in Mexico, or you will die within this nation.” I said, “Oh, well, anyone will do it when asked nicely! I’m running out of here.” I said, “Well, it’s preferable to go love Mexico than to be underground, so I don’t want to... Heaven is very beautiful, but it can wait.”
So I really set off. Look, a month after I arrived in Mexico, they killed a woman who looked exactly like me. She resembled me so much, and God was acting in a tremendous way and using me in the Mexican Republic.
But there, you understand, I was angry at first, but in the end God confirmed the word, and then I ended up so in love with Mexicans that by the time I left Mexico, I had been there for two and a half years. I preached every day to get the assignment done. I said, “I’ll preach twenty-five days, even twice a day, so God will leave me alone and get me out of this nation.” It turned out the other way around. God kept me in Mexico for two and a half years. I came to love Mexicans, and when I left, I left with a fever and in pain; I mean, I wept over the Mexican people.
I entered Nicaragua not wanting Nicaragua but wanting Mexico, and I wept so much because Mexico, Mexico, Mexico... What’s more, they would not give me another visa, and I spent a year and a half in Mexico illegally. So when I left, I could not return to Mexico for three years. God said, “I’m going to tie her down because otherwise she’ll go back faster than lightning.”
After three years, that deep love for Mexicans had already worn off, so I could go to Panama and other nations. When I went to Nicaragua, I entered weeping over Mexicans; when I left Nicaragua, I went away bawling over Nicaraguans because I had fallen in love with them. Then I wept over Costa Ricans until one day I knelt down and said, “God, if I am the woman of the nations, take away this attachment I develop toward people and the way I fall in love with them, because otherwise I will die of a heart attack faster than lightning. Therefore, give me a kingdom heart, a heart for the nations, a heart that no longer clings to one country, but for which the whole world is my home and my land.” And God changed my heart. Now I leave laughing my head off. The people remain there weeping, and I say, “Bye, see you, until next time,” because now I am a citizen of the whole world.
And God takes control of your emotions so that you will do his will. It does not matter if his will does not resemble yours and it makes you angry when God gives it to you; in the end, you come to love what he wants you to love, and his will ends up becoming your will, his longing ends up becoming your longing, and you fall in love with what God has prepared for you. What once did not seem good to you, you now live with, long for, and love because God equips you to fulfill it.
When the anointing of God is going to come upon your life, you have to understand that there is a reason for God to fill you. Some people believe that the anointing is only for speaking in tongues and becoming famous because you lay hands on a sick person and they are healed—what pride! Well, when people... when people are healed, you say, “He was healed through me.” When they are not healed, you say, “God did not want to heal him.” Isn’t that right?
If you pray for someone who has cancer and they are healed, you say, “God used me to heal him of cancer.” If he dies, you say, “Oh, poor thing, he died. Well, it was God’s will.” But if you were part of the healing, you own it and say, “I have the gift of healing. God used me.” But if he does not use you, you remain silent, right? Because so-and-so died, so you say, “Many of us prayed for him.” In other words, he did not die because I prayed; many of us did it.
And so, there really are people who believe that the anointing is for becoming famous. Other people say, “The anointing brings in money,” and it is true: when you have anointing, God prospers you financially.
I had a friend in Panama who used to tell me, “No, I work for a month, and I truly work so much. I work more than you do, and you earn three times as much as I do.” I practically pick up a Bible, shout four times, and become a millionaire. When God gave me my mother’s house in the wealthy neighborhood, I remember that I was living in a 120-year-old wattle-and-daub house full of rats and cockroaches, made of adobe, and that was where we lived. And God gave me a beautiful house. I asked the Lord like this: “I want the house,” and he gave it to me.
I remember that when the brothers came to help me move my things to the other house, I paid a believer to paint the new house for me. The believer became so terribly envious that he started painting my house by slapping the brush around instead of painting it properly, because it made him so angry. And he went like this, look: “Wham! A brushstroke here, a brushstroke there.” And he said to the other man—he thought I could not hear him—“This woman picks up a little Bible, shouts four times, and look! She won the lottery. Now she’s buying herself a house. Look where she lives, starving to death, and now she is a preacher, and look, she has already bought herself... I’m going to pick up the Bible and shout four times to see if I can get myself a house.”
And the man got really angry, angry because... and hallelujah, I heard him, and it made me so furious that I said to him: look, look, brother, I’m paying you twice what the unbeliever was charging me, and do you know why I did it? Because I know you’re hungry, you’re in need, and the pastor told me to give you a little job because you don’t even have enough to eat, and out of kindness I’m paying you twice as much, and look at how you’re painting my house, just slapping the brush around; I think I could paint it better myself... and if I’m paying you, you have a duty to paint it properly because my money has value, and I’m not asking you to give me anything for free; I’m paying you. And then I went and... if you don’t want to paint it properly, get out of here right now. And he says to me: oh no, sister, may the Lord rebuke the devil, may the Lord rebuke that tongue and the envy you have hanging over you. Because if God gave me this, I haven’t robbed anyone, I haven’t defrauded anyone, and I haven’t asked anyone for anything. When I want money, I know where to ask for it, and that is at God’s altar, not from human beings who are even more broke than I am, so forget about me going around asking for anything. And I told him: you are very mistaken. The Lord prospers and blesses the one who believes in his name; the one who honors him will be honored, and the one who is faithful with his possessions will prosper. It’s that simple.
Brother, don’t envy this house. My God is your God; my Father is your Father. I’ll simply give you the secrets of victory: believe in God, give offerings and tithe, and you will see how God will multiply the work of your hands, how he will bless the work of your hands. Do not envy; do not criticize God.
I said to him: do you think that was the last house God had? God has a gazillion houses for the children who believe him; it’s just that many of them neither ask for one nor want one. But God has things prepared for you.
And the man was very upset. In the end, he left and left that looking horrible; I had to pay someone else to paint it for me. And that happens with many people who have not understood that in the kingdom of God things are backwards, yet they are the right way around. In the kingdom of God, to lose is to gain and to die is to live. The kingdom of God is established through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the knowledge one possesses.
What is the anointing for? Jesus stood up and said this: the Spirit of Jehovah has come upon me. What for? He said: to set the captives free, so that those who are in darkness may see the light. What has the anointing of the Spirit come for, if not to set oppressed people free, if not to give the poor hope and tell the poor that the hour of their freedom has come? When the Bible says that the Holy Spirit serves to bring good news to the poor, it is not about telling them that in the palace... that up there in heaven they have a palace, a mansion. That does not truly determine your life.
A brother used to tell me: preachers have to be content with receiving their reward in heaven because they will have no inheritance here, because their inheritance is in paradise. They spoke to me that way, and I laugh because it is the most tremendous ignorance. They’ll pay you in heaven; God will come with a reward; God is going to pay you. No, sir, God pays here. I said: if my God is going to pay my wages in paradise, then I’ll work for him in paradise, and let me find an employer who will pay me on earth. Am I right?
If God is going to give me everything in paradise, then let him give me a job in paradise; but here I’m going to find someone who will pay me on earth. He would be an unjust God if he called us and said, “Very well, I’ll pay you in heaven,” when he knows that bills have to be paid, that you have to possess things and travel, that plane tickets have to be paid for, that electricity and water have to be paid for, that clothes have to be bought, and that a person has needs. God is the best of employers, and he pays those who serve him well.
The one who wrote in Deuteronomy says this: “...do not withhold the worker’s wages; he will not be the first to withhold the wages of those who serve him....” Do you understand?
So our mindset has to be transformed in the name of the Lord, because we can come to church, desire God’s anointing, speak in tongues, and tremble beautifully, while our life at home truly lacks the establishment of the kingdom of God. The Christian life is the simplest thing that can happen to you. The problem is that we make things up and make them overly profound. Sometimes we suffer from such acute profounditis that we no longer understand that the gospel is... daily life, the character of Christ; it is God being with you when you go to the store, get change back, find better deals, and buy quality things for the price of worthless things. You are buying important things at skinny-chicken prices, you return home with change left over, and you see God in every aspect of your life.
I say, if you don’t know God, come with me; live with me for a month. You will realize that God pays such attention to detail, such incredible attention to detail. I have been traveling so much, and I traveled—I mean, I had to travel by land because the plane was leaving from San Antonio and I was in Laredo preaching, so I traveled all night and arrived late. At six in the evening I was able to rest. I mean, I had been awake since two in the morning, and the truth is that I was so tired.
And it makes me laugh because I was standing there ringing the doorbell where I was staying, and I said: oh Lord, treat me like a lady; I’ve had enough today. I mean... remember that I said, use me like a man but treat me like a lady; I feel completely dragged through the dirt. Yes, because everything that happened to me on Friday when I arrived here was tremendous. I said: Lord, treat me like a lady. And it was amazing that when I went inside—the sister who came with me today is my witness—when I went inside, the people at the place where I arrived treated me like a queen, and they have done so to this very day. I mean, God intervenes in such a way that they gave me some home-cooked food... Brothers, I am so sick of restaurant food, and nobody cooks here in this country; it is terrible. I have spent 15 days eating nothing but restaurant food, and no matter how, how expensive it is, brothers, everything tastes awful: old oil; the fish, I think, is older than the smell of bad breath; everything is frozen, refrozen, frozen all over again, and it has no flavor. You could eat a flip-flop and it would taste better.
I mean, I tell you: God, treat me like a lady; God, give me food, home-cooked food—I can’t take it anymore. Now when they tell me, “Let’s go eat,” I feel like pulling my hair out. And what do you think? The sister had prepared for me—I mean, the pastor had also prepared for me—a delicious meal, a wonderfully delicious salmon, and she made it at home. That is where the sister gave me home-cooked food, and glory to God that the Lord... all you have to do is ask: treat me like a lady; I want... I can’t take it anymore; my stomach is falling apart from so much grease and so many strange things they have fed me. Lord, I want food without grease. And you ask him, and God begins to treat you like a lady. I mean, God moves in the simplest parts of your life just as he does in the greatest ones; he gives you...
Look, when I wanted stuffed animals, he gave me 500. One day I said: I’ve matured now; my childhood has passed. As a girl, I used to be so crazy about stuffed animals.... And when I was old, God gave me everything I had not had. I said: enough, enough, enough; I’ve had my fill of stuffed animals. Now give me rings, Lord, because I’ve matured... I have 700 diamond and ruby rings, and I came out without a single one. I go out with nothing, and look, my fingers are already full again. So God keeps giving to you along the way; that is the God we preach.
One day I said to him: fill me with so many rings—because when you sell them, people buy them from you for skinny-chicken prices—so you’d better give me cash. That year God gave me $200,000. I say that when you truly enter the dimension of the kingdom, the people here go around chasing the dollar, and the more they chase it, the more it slips away from them. It’s true. The more... look, they get up before dawn to work, and they work only to put their earnings into a bag full of holes. Really!
People live in such anguish that they no longer have relationships with their families. How is it possible, dear ones, that in this country people are so estranged that they live in the same building and never see one another? That they have family and do not know whether they even exist? It is sad. The other day I wept terribly because someone I knew had a brother who died. He lay there in the bathtub for seven days. He fell, broke his head open, and bled to death—seven days there, drained of blood, his body decomposing. It was not until the stench came out, the foul odor of his body, such a horrible stench—it was only then that anyone found out he was dead. When they noticed the smell coming through the door, the police came, knocked down the door, and found the man, who had been dead for seven days, while his family lived three blocks away.
I asked: don’t you make a phone call to say to a relative, “Good morning, I bless you in the name of Jesus; I love you; you are special to me; I praise God that you are my family; I bless God for your life; you are special”? No, they don’t do that. No wonder their hearts are so hard.
I said to this person... it was his brother, his flesh-and-blood brother, and he died. I said: do you know how deeply sad it is to know that he was three blocks away and you did not even know when he died? That perhaps, if you had arrived sooner, he would not have bled to death and might have lived? I mean, that is the coldness of a heart in which people, dear ones, are so bound by debt, so bound by rushing around, and so bound by life that they are losing what is most important to a human being: family, a relationship with God, and relationships with friends.
I am a prosperous woman, and I have a ministry that could take not just 24 hours from me but 48, if they existed. But I made a decision: I will maintain a balance among the things of God, family, and people, because... look, sometimes we become so burdened with the work that we forget the God of the work.
I met a man who was building the largest temple in Germany, and he wanted to have the largest church in Germany. It was worth millions and millions of dollars, and he was running around so much to obtain the millions for his temple and his monument to God in Germany. This man ran around asking for money: a million dollars from one company, a million dollars from another company. He lobbied in different countries to obtain money; he even went to the government to lobby and obtain money. He was running around so much that one night Christ entered his bedroom, and do you know what he said to him? “So-and-so, I don’t want your monument, I don’t want your church, and I don’t want your temple. Thank you very much; I do not want your building.” The man nearly died, because he said, “It is the vision God gave me.” God told him: “I don’t want it. Keep it; I don’t want it.” “But Lord, it is for your glory and your honor.” “No, it is for your glory and your honor, not mine. You want a monument so you can leave a legacy on the day you die.”
And God spoke to him and said: “Do you know what? Your project is wonderful; your project is beautiful, but your project separates you from me. And the most important thing to me is not your project; it is you. You are the one I love most; you are the one I want most; you are the one who is special to me. And if your project separates you from me, you no longer woo me. You are no longer by my side; you no longer seek me; you no longer love me; and you no longer surrender yourself to me because your project has you completely bound. I don’t want it, because you are what matters most, and if your project causes me to lose you, I don’t want your project.”
Brother, when God asks for tithes and offerings, it is to make you a millionaire, but God does not want your money more than he wants your life.
What is more, when Cain brought his offering to the altar, it disgusted God, because God is not looking for your offering. When God asks you for an offering, it is for your own sake and not for his. That is why Cain’s offering disgusted God: Cain’s offering had no faith, while Abel’s did, in Hebrews 11... People say more than they should about Cain’s offering. They say it was rotten fruit; that is not true. It was fresh, good fruit. It was Cain’s wrong attitude at God’s altar. The Bible gives the answer in Hebrews, and it is simple: by faith Abel, by faith Abel, by faith Abel offered a greater sacrifice than Cain. Cain’s had unbelief; Abel’s had obedience and faith. That is why God cannot be deceived. God knows why people want the anointing of the Holy Spirit, but God will not descend with the anointing upon your life if you do not care in the slightest about your nation, your city, or the people around you.
The anointing, my brother, produces loneliness in your life. The person who is truly anointed must be prepared to die for the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Because people believe, people believe that the anointing makes you gain friends. Yes, you gain friends, but you also gain enemies. People believe that the anointing produces nothing but lovely things, don’t they? Someone told you that the Holy Spirit was a gentleman, and they deceived you. He is a gentleman, but sometimes he is not such a gentleman. Ask Saul of Tarsus, when he threw him down on the ground and left him blind. Ah, what a gentleman the Holy Spirit is! Ask Analia and Sapphira, when he struck them down on the floor and they died. Ah, what a gentleman the Holy Spirit is!
The Holy Spirit is gentle, but he is also fire. He consumes, but he also restores; he tears down, but he also raises up. He is a consuming fire and a gentle whisper; he is sweet as honey, but he is fire that consumes. Do you understand?
And we have to understand the different facets of the Holy Spirit.... Some people say: give me the anointing, but I don’t want to make such a commotion. I want to receive the anointing very diplomatically and say... but don’t let it drive me crazy; don’t let it send me rolling around; don’t let me fall to the floor. A woman who came to my campaign, who was not a believer, saw people falling down and said to me: pray for me, but I don’t want to fall down.
I told her: don’t worry, because I don’t want you to fall down either. I merely did this, and whoosh—down to the floor she went. I did not touch her. She got up and said to me: goodness gracious, how did I fall? “I’m not carrying that dead body,” I told her. “Someone knocked you down.”
But truly, the Holy Spirit will do what He has to do. Someone said, “Give me the anointing, but without any noise.” That is like asking for a pizza without cheese; some people want baked dough but do not want pizza: “Give me a pizza without sauce or cheese.”
When the Holy Spirit comes into your life, He will touch your heart and do what He has to do. Maybe, if you are an extrovert, He will make you act crazier than ever; and if you are an introvert, maybe God will play a prank on you and send you tumbling, because God has a sense of humor. Whoever believes God is not funny does not know Him. God is funny.
One day He woke me up in the middle of the night and said, “Dina, I’m going to tell you a joke.” Three in the morning, and I said, “At this hour??? Can’t it wait until later?” “No, I’m going to tell you.” I said, “Oh Lord, let me sleep. I preached all day; I’m tired.” He said, “No, wake up. I’m going to tell you.” He said, “Do you know that I rode something with zero kilometers—zero miles on it? That I had a vehicle with zero miles on it?” I said, “Oh, there weren’t even cars in Your day.” He said, “There weren’t, but there were donkeys, camels, and asses. And when I said, ‘Go and get an ass that no one has ever ridden,’ that one had zero miles on it. Therefore…” And He said to me, “Therefore, Dina, ask Me for one with zero miles on it, and don’t be ashamed of whoever criticizes you.” And I laughed until six in the morning, I’m not lying, because I woke up my associate and everyone else to tell them the joke, and no one slept because they were laughing.
God has a sense of humor. It is only you or I who sometimes walk around so frightened that we say God is scared about the nations. Oh no, God is not scared; He knows how the movie ends. You go around crying over your child and rolling around—“My children!”—looking like La Llorona at midnight: “Ohhh, my children, my children!” And when someone comes up, “Sister, pray for my children,” they even bring you their picture: “Look, my children.” Isn’t that right? And they look like La Llorona—“My children!”—and let out these great shrieks: “My children, my children!” And God laughs, because He has already given life to your children, saved.
When they cried in my house because I was an atheist, God laughed because He saw me preaching. When they called me the black sheep at home and my grandfather prophesied—he was a tremendously anointed man and a prophet—but he missed it with me and got it wrong. He looked at me and said, “This one will be terrible when she grows up. This one will hit you. This one will be rebellious. This one will give you green-gray hairs. This one will make you cry.” And he prophesied about my sister, “This one will be international,” and it was the other way around.
God truly called you and anointed you. God laughed when He saw the prophecies they hurled at me, because He saw me preaching the gospel. He laughed when the family called me the black sheep and the shame of the household, because one day I would be the pride of the family. God truly knows how the movie ends; He is not scared. God has plans to save your household, plans to restore your generation, plans to enter your home and set you free, plans so that you will not die in misery but in a camp of blessing. God has plans to bring you out of disgrace and set you in high places, and God has plans to bring forth from within you the woman and the man who are mighty in battle and to remove from you the cowardice Peter had.
Do you know something? The anointing changed Peter’s life. No one can deny that Peter loved Christ with all his heart, and he loved Him so much that he drew his sword to send his neighbor’s ear flying. He was ready to start throwing punches and defend Christ. He had the sword and said, “I’ll defend Christ, and I’ll send ears flying and heads flying, and here it comes!” Peter was willing to die for Jesus. It was true when he said, “I would die for You.” Do you know something? And he proved it by drawing his sword. But do you know why he drew it? Because the people fell down unconscious, and it was easy to grab them. Truly! So he says, “If they faint, I can cut his head off faster.” But Jesus told him, “Put away your sword, because he who kills by the sword will die by the sword.”
“If I wanted someone to defend Me, millions of angels would come to defend Me. But the hour has come, the hour for Me to die and rise again,” Jesus told him. And when Peter put the sword away and kept it with him, he put away the strength of his life. With the sword, he put away his faith, and with the sword, he put away his entire victory. He was left without a sword and thought, “The only thing left for me to do is deny this man, because if I do not deny Him, they will crucify me just like Him. So I do not know Him. I have never walked with Him. I have never known Him. I do not know Him. I do not know that guy.” And it says that he blasphemed… The Bible does not state the blasphemy, but he blasphemed against Jesus so that the people would believe he did not belong to Christ.
But something I love so much about this story is that they said to him, “Listen, sir, you say you do not know Christ, but the way you speak sounds like the Messiah. You have been with Him.” In other words, you have walked with Him for three years; you have so much of Christ in you that, no matter how much you deny Him, you look like Him. Hallelujah!
The marvelous experience of a life that is brave and cowardly at the same time, of a life like Peter’s. I like Peter; I am so much like him, because when you fall in love with Christ, you even say things you are not going to do: “For You, I will swim across the ocean,” yet they do not even want to swim one block down a river… “For You, oh Lord, I will give my life.” “Come and fast.” “No, because if I don’t drink coffee, I get a headache.” “For You, Lord, I would do anything.” “Give your tithes.” “Oh no, because then I’ll run out of money.” They are liars. They come to the altar: “Christ, You can count on me, count on me—one, two, three, four, five, six, seven…” Because… they are only counting numbers, right?
And that is what happens. Look, I was preaching in New Jersey, and the pastor said, “Donate one hour to answer calls at the radio station.” No one wanted to go. One hour—because there are so many calls from people who need comfort and advice, and we do not have personnel to answer the phones… Not one hand went up. And since I am playful, I said, “Pastor, give me the microphone.” I said, “Whoever comes tomorrow to donate one hour—no, not donate—whoever gives one hour to the radio station tomorrow, I’ll pay two hundred dollars an hour…” So many hands went up that there were not enough hours in the twenty-four-hour day. When they raised them, I said, “It’s a lie. I’m not going to pay you anything. I only shamelessly did it to show you that you are shameless, and to prove that you do have time, but you only move when you are paid and prostitute yourselves for anything.”
It is terrible. That mentality has to die in the name of the Lord. I said, “Do you know what? I proved to you that you do have one hour for God, but since you are not being paid for it, you do not come.” In this country, brothers and sisters, everyone wants to charge for absolutely everything. If they could sell us the air, they would sell it to us. I think they must be figuring out how to bottle air so they can sell it, because they do not want to stop selling anything!! In other words, dear ones, people prostitute themselves so much that they work at jobs they do not like solely because of the salary they earn, and they were not made for that job, but it was the only thing they found. “Here I go, because otherwise I’ll starve to death.” I refuse that. Tell Him, “God, I am going to work in the place You have prepared for me, using the ability You gave me to do it.” And when you have the job that God uses you for and made you for, you go happily to work on Monday rather than with a very long face, saying, “Off to work again; here I go.” No!! Look, when you do what you like, you will even do it for free.
I was born to be a preacher of the gospel. Look, when I began preaching, I would even pay them to give me the pulpit. I would tell the pastors, “Do not give me anything; just let me preach.” What is more, I would tell them, “Try me out. If you don’t like me, throw me out tomorrow.”
I would walk a kilometer to preach the gospel. Why? Because you are doing what you love.
Some people say, “How do you endure twenty-nine years of ministry, carrying your suitcase back and forth?” Sometimes I sleep in a five-star hotel; sometimes it has no stars at all. Sometimes I am in a hotel where I even have a Jacuzzi in the room; sometimes they put me up in the presidential suite, and sometimes they take me to a place where the cockroaches crawl all over me. But you are happy wherever you are because you are fulfilling the calling God gave you.
Truly, look, the other day they gave me twelve thousand dollars for three days, and even then I did not return to that church; yet I went to another one that gave me forty, because you live doing and longing to do what God wants and spreading the anointing that is upon you over the women and men attending your meeting.
When God gives you the anointing, He will put within you a passion for lives, a passion for people; otherwise, the anointing is useless. The anointing is meant to be poured out, to be spread everywhere. The anointing is meant to conquer nations. The anointing is meant to weep for peoples. The anointing is meant to say, “I am tired now, oh God, of nations in corruption and bondage. I am tired of seeing Latin America plundered, robbed, and prostituted. I am tired, oh God, of seeing our land and our emigrants going to other nations in search of different destinies, only to be mistreated and enslaved. I am tired, oh God, of seeing the nations in ruins.” And we are seeing changes in our countries; we are seeing Latin America healed.
My uncle said to me the other day, “I do not understand what is happening now in Latin America. The missionaries went to Chile, and before, whenever a missionary arrived, the Latino would turn himself into a carpet for him to walk on.” It is true! Do not look at me like that, because it is true. And do you know what they used to do when a missionary arrived? The people would come running because “the gringo is coming! We have to ask him for a little microphone, ask him for a little money for the little church roof, and have him buy us the little bricks to put up the little shack. Here comes the missionary!” The man had barely landed at the airport when a whole bunch of starving little pastors, with their ties somewhat crooked and their shoes somewhat torn, were already there to ask the gringo who brought the dollars to give them a church building. But thank God, I have spent years preaching to Latin America, and I told them, “You cannot be beggars. You are princes and children of the King. Their God is your God, and you must refuse to go around like moochers and beggars. You are children of God.” And I taught them to give. I said, “Learn to give, and say goodbye to misery, and you will have wealth. Do not say you have nothing; there will always be something to give to God.”
A woman in California had no money, so she tore a button off her blouse and sowed it into God’s work; now she owns the largest button factory. Truly!! God does not keep anything; He is no one’s debtor, I told the people of Latin America.
The anointing serves to conquer wealth, abundance, and victory on earth. It is not meant for dying; it is meant for living in victory. And my uncle told me—and I praised God because he told me this year—“I do not understand the people of Latin America now. We went there with the Americans, who were bringing money to build the church building, and do you know what the church said? ‘Thank you very much. Take your money somewhere else; we already have the money to build the church. Thank you, beloved brothers and sisters, for your kindness, but we have already prospered, and we are giving so that God may enrich us.’”
Some people get angry about that, don’t they? I am glad. I am glad. Do you know why? Because all the missionaries placed one brick in our church building, and God gave them one hundred, because whoever gives receives. And the one who received remained a beggar. Do you know what someone told me one day? God gave me sixty thousand dollars in one month. He told me, “Do not say God gave it to you, because believers do not like that.” I said, “Yes, because it is in my pocket and not theirs; and if envy were ringworm, we would all be covered in it.”
I told the American sister who was in Colombia, “I am going to tell you something. I praise God for the missionaries who preached the gospel to us and brought us the Word, but what I will never agree with is that they did not teach us to give offerings or to tithe. They taught us to hold out our hands and receive the offerings they brought for our poor people. But this woman here, with her Salvadoran-pupusa face and her Indigenous face, will tell Latin Americans that we will be entrepreneurs, that we will conquer wealth, that we will be bosses, that we will govern, that our slave mentality will be taken away, and that God will remove the rags of our disgrace and raise us up to be children of princes and kings. God is going to bring a marvelous transformation into your life, because when the kingdom is established in you, it is not for death but for life. When the anointing comes upon you, it is so that you may have quality of life, not merely so that you may cry at the altar and tremble under the anointing, but so that you may change the destiny of your nation and the destiny of your people. God will bring a tremendous breakthrough.”
I said to her, “Do you know what? We are teaching people like that woman who came to my crusade bound by misery, wearing rubber shoes and living in a house made entirely of cardboard, whose only protection from the rain was plastic. When it rained, it rained more inside than outside, and her children were swept along by the mud. She had to wake up when the rain began to fall, grab her children by the feet, and pull them up into the shack because the torrential rain would carry them away. She lived like an animal—and worse than an animal. But one day, on the little radio she had, she heard the voice of Dina Santamaría, and they were saying, ‘Dina will be preaching in Trujillo…’ It was a twelve-hour journey. Living under misery and ruin, the woman heard the word on the radio, fell asleep, and had a dream. In the dream, she saw me take her hand and say to her, ‘Woman, your misery ends today,’ and in the dream she saw me giving her gold—gold bars. She woke up and said, ‘Today I will go to where Dina Santamaría is. I do not know how, but I am going to borrow the money. I will go to that place to hear the word, and I know I will be set free.’ She dreamed of me exactly as I was. She did not know me; she saw my face just as it is. God revealed me to her.
She arrived after a twelve-hour journey; she had borrowed money for the bus there and back, and she had nothing for food. She went with nothing but her round-trip fare, slept on a church pew, and people gave her food. And I was preaching for only a day and a half because I had to leave for another event, and I was rushing; there were so many thousands of people that you could suffocate inside. People were falling, not because of the anointing but because of the heat and the sheer number of people at the windows and everywhere. As I preached amid the crowd of thousands, I spotted the woman dressed in rags; her clothes were patched and her shoes were rubber sandals. I looked at her and said, “Bring that woman to the altar.” She came running; I laid my hand on her, took her hands, and said to her, “Thus says the Lord: today the ruin in your life comes to an end, and the anointing of prosperity is coming upon you. You will be freed from poverty. Receive it today…”
The woman fainted and fell to the floor; she got up and was never the same again.
I was at the Sheraton in Lima preaching to businesspeople and to people whom God had made wealthy. As I was preaching, this woman—there were 70 people forming a corridor for me to pass through because 10,000 people had been listening to me, and they escorted me out with 70 people so no one would get in my way, because people throw themselves on top of you, hit you in the face, and even stick their fingers in my mouth as I pass by—little sister, they stationed 70 ushers so I could pass between them, but this woman played it smart. She found out which car would take me to the hotel, got into it, and crouched down inside. When I opened the door, I saw her crouching there, and she said to me, “Shhh, be quiet, or they’ll get me out of here.” But I said, “Oh, woman, what are you doing here?” “Do you remember me?” I told her no. “I’m that woman who wore rubber sandals…” Today she was wearing executive attire and leather shoes. She said to me, “You know, Sister Dina, a year has passed. I now have 10 employees, and I’m the boss. And you know what? I have bought myself a house with four bedrooms and three private bathrooms; each of my children has a bathroom and bedroom of their own. You know, Sister Dina, I’m buying myself a 4x4 truck. A year has passed, and I escaped ruin. I used to sell two little chickens; now I sell 300 or 400 turkeys, and God has brought such prosperity that now you see me here in victory.” One year was enough for her poverty to end.
That is what the anointing is for: to tell the poor that there is freedom, to tell the poor that God pays debts, to tell the poor that God enlarges their territory, to tell the poor that there is hope, that He lifts the poor from the boulevard and seats them as princes among the princes of His people.
The disciples were disappointed. Jesus was dead. Do you know what that meant to them? That Christ who had walked with them for three years, who had set the captives free and raised the dead, was dead. Not one disciple believed that He would rise; not even the women believed that He would rise. No one believed in the resurrection. Anyone who says this afternoon that someone believed is a liar. No one believed that He would rise. The women did not go looking for someone who had risen; they went looking for a dead man so they could anoint Him and wash His wounds, but they did not believe He would rise. Peter did not believe, John did not believe, Thomas did not believe—no one believed. But the women found that the tomb was empty, and instead of praising God for the resurrection, they wept bitterly and said, “Where have they put my Lord? Who stole Jesus? Who stole my Teacher’s body?”
And they ran from tomb to tomb, crying as only we women know how to cry… and we do it well… and they cried as they went from tomb to tomb to tomb, shouting, “Who stole the Teacher?” And when they saw Christ, they did not recognize Him, and they said to Him, “You cemetery caretaker, you stole Jesus!” And Jesus looked at them and said, “Oh, women, do not look among the dead for the One who lives, because I have risen.”
He rose on the third day and, before an unbelieving world, He said to Martha and Mary, “Go and tell the people that I am alive. Tell Peter first, because Peter denied Me three times, and I am going to meet with him to ask him three times whether he loves Me. Tell Peter that I am alive. Tell Peter that the tomb is empty.” Do you know what that means? Tell Peter the denier, cowardly Peter, that there is no longer any reason to be a coward; his Christ has risen. Tell him that I am not angry. Tell him that I live. Tell him there was a reason for Me to die and rise again. (Thank you, leave me like this; I’m not drinking anything until the end, don’t worry. Yes, because if I drink, I’ve already lost 80 words…) Tell him that I have risen from the dead and that I am alive.
And the Bible says that the women ran. That is why, when people tell me that women did not preach in the New Testament, they are liars, because the greatest message of the gospel is the resurrection, and who preached it? The women. They were the first to shout, “He lives! He lives! He lives! He lives!” There is no greater message in history than the words, “The tomb is empty.” The women ran to preach the word.
When Jesus arrived and met with them, they shouted, “Now He really is alive! Will He give us the kingdom? Will He free us from the Roman Empire? Will He rise up to restore our political power? Will He give us economic power? Will He restore the power we lost?”
Remember that Israel was enslaved by the Roman Empire, and they said, “Now we will indeed be free from the Empire! Will they stop robbing us? Will they stop plundering us? Will we stop paying taxes to Rome?” And they were happy, but Jesus said to them, “What does that matter to you? Go up to the upper room, where the anointing will be, and there, when the anointing falls upon you, you will rise up to conquer this mighty empire, the cruelest one of the age.”
When the anointing comes upon your life… And I am going to teach you something this morning. You have been told that believers cannot get involved in politics because politics belongs to the devil—and you are right. Politics belongs to the devil because the children of God shut themselves within four walls to sing hallelujah, and their minds are stuck in caves with a catacomb mentality. And do you know something, ladies and gentlemen? I do not know when, how, by whom, in what period, or at what point in history the church left the halls of government and the witches moved in. A void will always be filled by something; a void will never remain empty. The witch doctor takes the void left by the prophet. The wicked take the void left by the Son of God.
And while the church has sat on the pew for years, the life of a people who are at the tail end passes by while the devil is at the head. I learned something about the devil… I always said that the devil was stupid and foolish, but I was wrong. He is intelligent.
The church went to the poor; the devil went to the rich. The church went to the bottom; the devil went to the heads of governments and into palaces. And do you know what has happened, my brother? The church lost its destiny. And do you know why it lost it? Because we are so preoccupied with the debt, the husband, the children—my children, my husband, the debt; my children, my husband, the debt. We have no other problem; that one is enough.
I am studying politics as I have never studied it before, and my mouth is hanging open. One day I knelt and asked God for forgiveness: “Forgive me, forgive me.” It was like my friend in Lima when she saw the place created by the people who were on that truth commission and studied the deaths in Peru beginning in ’62—the year 1962—how young people were destroyed, their eyes gouged out while they were alive, their bodies mutilated while they were alive, burned while they were alive. And in Lima they have made a museum about the deaths from ’62 to ’85—thousands upon thousands missing and dead. My friend entered that place, an anointed pastor with a church of thousands in Lima, and she went inside and told me, “Dina, when I entered and saw the barbarity my nation endured during those years, I was already a preacher, and I knelt down and wept and said, ‘Lord, where was I while my people were bleeding to death? Where was the church while the nation was in mourning? Where was the church when the young people were being destroyed? Where was the church when the children were being mutilated? Where is the church?’”
My brother, today one wonders: Where is the church while this country is torn between truth and lies? Where is the church while God is being removed from schools and witchcraft is being brought in? Where is the church while it is said that a government does not believe in homosexuality, yet more homosexuals were married under this government than under other governments?
In a nation, my brother, that is approaching its own self-destruction while the church sleeps the sleep of the righteous and continually thinks of nothing but what… how to pay JCPenney, how to pay the car insurance, and how to pay the debts. God must shake our lives this morning, and we declare in the name of Jesus that God is going to awaken a people as one awakens from sleep, so they may enter into the glorious anointing of Jesus Christ.
Your children are in imminent danger, dear one. You know, the sister over there in Pauper told me while I was preaching, “Sister Dina, my school has just ruled that witchcraft is to be taught as… I have to take witchcraft and witchcraft covenants as an ordinary subject.” “If you don’t do it?” I asked. “I lose the school year,” she told me. “I absolutely have to go in and study that subject.” And I say: Where is the church, and where are you, while the devil does whatever he pleases?
Did you know that some schools in this country levitate children, and in other schools they blank out children’s minds and send them home like zombies, while a people believes that everything is fine?
Brothers and sisters, the anointing is not for sitting down on a Sunday morning and getting your shaking fit. The anointing, dear one, is not for saying, “I speak in tongues,” and “ratacasaca.” God wants to bring an anointing that rots the yoke, an anointing that makes hell tremble, an anointing that changes the destiny of a country, an anointing that proclaims that Jesus is the Lord of the nations.
Hallelujah! You do not know it, but the anointing in our lives can change the destiny of a country. One day I stood up when the hurricane was heading toward Cuba and Venezuela, and I remember that I stood before Satan and said to him, “I have authority in the name of Jesus to change the course of that hurricane and to declare at this hour that you will become a tropical storm, because there is power in my tongue and authority conferred by the Father.”
When I turned on the television, do you know what they said? “The hurricane that had been approaching with terrible intensity has turned into tropical rain and will cause no devastation.” That is the authority we have to bind, to loose, to proclaim, and to declare. Do not fear, little flock; God was pleased to give you the kingdom, and you must live it in the name of the Lord. I declare this afternoon that the veil falls from you in the name of Christ and that you are opened to the revelation of the Word. God did not bring you here so you could remain asleep on this pew, sleeping in the most terrible indifference. God brought you here to equip you, to turn you into a weapon of war in the hands of Christ and into the worst nightmare the devil has ever had on earth.
Hallelujah! I am tired, my brother, of a church with a nice face. I want a fierce church, with the face of a lion, roaring like lions. We are sick of hiding. Stop being on the defensive; go on the offensive. Do not wait for the devil to come here; bind him in his own territory. The devil advances as far as you allow him to advance; the devil takes what you allow him to take.
God told Joshua, “I will not give you Canaan, nor the milk and honey, until you conquer it. Do you want one kilometer? Secure that kilometer for yourself. Two kilometers? Fight for those two kilometers. I will not hand you the land just like that, free of charge. The only thing that is free is the salvation of the soul; everything else must be fought for.”
You cannot be so indifferent, so apathetic, and so complacent. What is killing the church is not the devil; it is complacency.
Look at that complacency: if God fills me, fine; if He does not fill me, that is fine too. There are conferences, and no one comes near; and if there is a fee, even fewer come, because they do not want to pay. Say to God this morning, “Revolutionize my life. God, as the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul cries out for You, O God. Today I thirst for the living God.”
Do you know what the Lord said to the disciples and to the people listening to Him? “The hour when the empire will fall is none of your concern. Go up to the upper room; you will cause it to fall. Be filled with the anointing and with power.” And when the anointing comes upon you, the demons will flee. When the anointing comes upon you, your children will be saved. When the anointing comes upon your lives, your land will be healed. When the anointing comes upon you, you will… you will not seek miracles; you will be workers of miracles. You will not ask us to pray for you to be blessed; you will be a blessing to the families of the earth. There is nothing more beautiful than ceasing to ask for a blessing, because the one who blesses has already been blessed. There is nothing more beautiful, my brother, than ceasing to pray for miracles; we are workers of miracles.
God wants to turn you into a flame of fire today. God wants to make you mighty in battle today. God wants to turn you today into a man or woman of war, anointing, and power. The anointing is not only for you; it is meant to change the course of your neighborhood.
I took hold of my neighborhood, the dangerous one. There were attacks there, people died there, and people were robbed there. I took hold of my neighborhood to the north, south, east, and west, and I said, “Devil, we cannot live together, and since I am not going to leave, you are the one who is going to get out.” Now it is the quietest neighborhood in Caracas.
God will bring healing to your life when you truly begin to understand, my brother, that the anointing is meant to change, to transform you, and to change what is around you. Say to Him, “I want the anointing of the latter and early rain.”
Lord, will the new be better than what is gone? Will what is on the way be better than what has passed away? Will my future be bright and powerful? Will my land be healed? Prophesy, son of man: the dry bones shall live. What do you have in your hand? He asked the woman. A little oil—enough to see a miracle. What is in your house? A rotting corpse that I took to the cemetery; his name is Lazarus—enough to raise him up. God has the ability to make the impossible possible when someone believes Him.
Do you know what someone said? No one but God can change this country. If God changes it, why has He not changed it? That is what they told me about Venezuela: God will change this country. If God changes it, why has He not changed it? Do you know when God changes a country? When He finds people with whom to change it. Do you know when God delivered Israel? When He found a Moses. Do you know when God raised up the fallen walls? When He found a Jeremiah. Do you know when God multiplied the seed? When He found a Joseph. Do you know when God saved Israel? When He found an Esther.
God is looking for someone, and you are part of His kingdom. Do not belittle yourself; do not say, “Who am I for God to use me?” The power of the resurrection is in you; the power of victory is in you; the power of the empty tomb is in you. You are the extension of Christ on earth; you are the Messiah’s hands, His eyes, and His heart. Your hands will touch as He did, and your eyes will see as He did. Do not say, “I am no good”; do not say, “I have no calling.”
When I was not an international preacher, I learned to serve God in the simplicity of life. I learned to weep with the guerrilla fighter and with the soldier; I learned to groan through the streets of my land; I learned to go to prisons and comfort the prisoners. I was not an international preacher, but I went to the hospital to comfort the elderly woman who had no family. I was not an international preacher, but I got on the bus and prayed for the sick man, and he was healed. Wherever you are, God will have people for you to bless, touch, change, and multiply.
Tell Him, “God, I acknowledge this morning, this afternoon, that I walk around thinking only of myself, that I lost sight of Your glory and Your presence.” I know you are tired and troubled. I know you have come to this place with questions and pain. I know you are here wanting to see change. You feel guilty for not believing more, and you want to believe more but cannot, and doubt assails you, and you have a battle between faith and doubt. This afternoon God is wrestling with your unbelief; He is wrestling with your heart this afternoon, but He is greater than your doubt. He is going to overcome you today. In the powerful name of Christ, unbelief will be torn down, and you will enter the dimension of faith to take what heaven has and bring it to your house, bring it to the earth, and bring it to your home. Take from heaven what belongs to you and establish it in your home; establish it in your walk; establish it in your life. You will not die, but live, and you will tell what God has done in you.
You are already in this place, and if you have come here, something great is going to happen. What God has begun, He will finish. What God has started will not remain unfinished; He will complete it in you. Hallelujah!!
God can change you this morning in this place. I will end with this word; listen carefully. God changed Peter’s name. His name was Simon, which means reed, useful for nothing but being burned. But his name was changed to rock, to stone and rock. God is looking at you this morning. People saw Peter denying Christ. Jesus looked at Peter warming himself by the fire. Jesus looked at him and said with His gaze, “Now you are a coward; the anointing will come upon you, and you will be courageous.”
Today you deny Me, but one day you will die for the faith you proclaim. Peter, I do not see you warming yourself by the fire; I see you shepherding My sheep. Peter, I do not see you denying Me; I see you proclaiming My truths.
God, this morning perhaps you feel like a reed, or you are denying the power of God with your life. But God tells you this morning, “When the anointing comes upon you, your name will be changed to rock; your life will be transformed when the anointing…”
One day, in the third pew of the church, I wept bitterly and cried out at the altar, and I said to Him, “Lord, fill me or I will die.” I looked to the right and to the left, in front of me and behind me, and I saw a bunch of gossipy old ladies from my church, more legalistic than legalism and more Pharisaical than the Pharisees—they outdid the Pharisees.
That was the church I attended. Everything was a sin: hair, makeup, pants—everything was a sin. I saw some of them yawning, some snoring, and other old folks sleeping, and I refused to live that life. There, in the third pew, I said, “I am not going to grow old like all these gossipy old church ladies. I am going to be different. Take me out of the crowd, or I will die.” And in the third pew I began to weep, and I said this: “Fill me or I will die. Fill me or I will die. Fill me or I do not want to live. Give me the anointing or I do not want life. I do not want to be a dry stick in this church. Fill me or I will die.”
Look, I began to cry so much that the preacher, who was Guatemalan, summoned me and said, “Bring that demon-possessed woman here.” And the big-headed deacons, needing no further encouragement, one grabbed me on the right and another on the left, and my little legs were going like this because they were taller than I was. They dragged me along like this and threw me onto the pulpit—boom! The preacher grabbed my head and shook it from right to left: “Out! Out! Out!” And there I was, brother, with my head flying in every direction. “Out, devillll!” And on my knees I said, “Oh, great prophet, you just got it wrong—completely wrong. Oh, great prophet, I am not demon-possessed. I want the anointing or I will die. I am not demon-possessed. I want to stand out from the crowd or I will die.”
And the anointing came upon me; I left drunk. Sister, at three in the morning I was still hugging the electric light poles in my neighborhood, every pole I came across…. And I would begin to speak in tongues… Hallelujahhhh, hallelujahhhh! At the next pole, once again… and I walked and… until I reached home, and my mother said, “Daughter, it is three in the morning—get moving….” And the next day I went to high school. It was my final day of high school, and I went to school with my notebooks…. I walked about two kilometers along a railroad track, and there I went along the track….. …… speaking in tongues on the way. I reached school and sat down…….. only in my mind…. And I did not hear what the teacher was saying. At recess….. in the bathroom. I left school, and on the way…… I reached home at four o’clock and threw down my notebooks…. shouting under the anointing. The fire of the anointing would not leave me; I have remained drunk to this very day.
Fill me or I will die; give me the anointing or I do not want life. Whoever does not live to serve is not fit to live. Say, “I refuse to be a sack of potatoes in this world. I have a destiny in God and a purpose for living.”
Listen to this: you are not a child of your parents; you are a child of God. I am a daughter of God. Mr. and Mrs. Santamaría merely planted the seed so that I could be born. There was a time when I hated my father because he abandoned me. I hated him, and I wanted to kill myself because of him. I hated him so much, and I would say, “Why the devil did you bring me here just to abandon me, Mr. Santamaría?” I insulted him, and he insulted me. He would tell me, “I will see you become a prostitute, dragged through the dirt. You will lick my feet. You are going to do with me…” In other words, he would talk to me and curse me: “I will see you like that, with a whole slew of children…” And he cursed me. But do you know something? I hated him bitterly, but the Lord came and changed me. One day I heard a preacher who said this: “You are not the product of your parents’ bed. No, sir. You are the one responsible for your parents going to bed together that night.”
And I liked it. I said, “I like that idea. I am not the product of my father’s bed; I am the reason they made love that morning before dawn.”
Because God needed me and wanted me to arrive on this planet. And I said, “This guy is right.” My father had a mistress and slept with the mistress more than with his wife. When a man has a mistress, his wife looks ugly to him, no matter what she does. Even if her measurements are 90-60-90, to him they are 800. And when he has a mistress, he sees the mistress as 90-60-90, even if she is an old woman measuring 450. Because lust and adultery are a spirit; they have nothing to do with beauty. It is a spirit.
My father took more pleasure in the mistress than in my mother, and I assure you that they went to bed angry that night, and God said, “I do not care that you are angry. Make love, because the factory is going to close in three months, and I am going to be left without Dina Santamaría.” And the factory closed and never opened again. At seventeen, my mother was no longer able to have children when they got back together, so God said, “By the time they get back together, the factory will be closed. Make Dina Santamaría for Me before the factory closes, because I need her for the nations.” They went to bed and made love while angry; they made me, and Mom became pregnant.
One day my father told me—I asked him, “Why did you bring me into the world? Why?” He said, “I did not bring you here; you came.” But I understood when this preacher preached that way, and I went to my father, embraced him, and said, “Mr. Santamaría, you did everything crookedly. You hurt both your mistress and your wife. You had three children with the mistress and three with your wife. The wife’s children never had a father, and the mistress’s children never knew what it meant to have a father. We are six wounded children, and we are all deeply wounded. Father, all you have done in this life is hurt and hurt; you have mutilated everyone who comes near you.
“But I want to tell you, Dad, that on the day I was born, you scored a perfect 100. I am your masterpiece. If you came for nothing more than to give me life, you can die content, because what you never did, God used me to do: to heal lives from Japan to Argentina, from Australia to Canada.
“Father, God has used me to comfort, restore, and lift people up. You can die in peace. Your seed bore fruit for God, and if your life existed for nothing more than to give me mine, die content. God bless you; have victory, and know that your life had a reason for being.”
Hallelujah! Forgive your parents. Let go of hatred. Release the root of bitterness. You were born for Christ; they were merely used to place you on this planet. This planet needs you. You are not here in this world because the pill failed. Perhaps you were despised, raped, abandoned, molested, destroyed. The devil hated you and tried to kill you before your time. I died in my mother’s womb, and Jesus raised me from the dead. Here we stand in victory: healed, free, blessed, prosperous, enriched.
Tell Him, “God, this afternoon my soul longs for You; my spirit desires You.” Tell Him, “Lord, I have come to this place. I do not want religion, even if I bear the name evangelical. I desire You; I long for You.”
Stand to your feet. Sweet Jesus, when will You establish Your kingdom? When will You set our people free? When the anointing has come upon you. When will You remove the captivity? When the anointing has come upon you. When will Your people be healed? When the anointing comes upon you and you cause others to come to know the Messiah, when you cause other people to come to know the Son of God. Tell Him, “Lord, start with me this morning. Begin in my life. God, I ask You for the nations, but today I ask You for myself. Fill me with Yourself, because I cannot give what I do not have. I cannot lift others up if I am fallen. I cannot heal if I am sick. I cannot bless if I lack blessing. Freely we receive, so that we may freely give. Begin in me, O God, this day. Heal me, Lord.” Tell Him, “Heal my wounds; heal my wounded soul. Because of the anointing, let the yoke rot away; because of the anointing, the burden upon my being will be removed.”
Right there where you are, cry out to God with all your strength. He is here to hear you. His glory has descended upon this place; His sweet presence can be breathed in this place today. Tell Him, “Lord, my soul longs for You. I cannot return empty. I refuse to return home unchanged. Fill me with Yourself today, Lord. Pour out the anointing of the upper room; pour out the anointing of the altar; pour Your victory upon me, oh…….”
There is power in the name of Jesus. There is victory in the name of Jesus. There is freedom in the name of Jesus. Oh, fill Your people, O God. Pour out Your presence in this place. Let no one leave empty, God. Take away the dryness of the church, the indifference of Your people. Let the anointing rot the yoke away.
Oh, Spirit of God! Pour out your soul, brother, like water upon the altar. Pour out your life upon God’s altar. Tell Him, “Lord, I am ready to be filled. I do not want to live dry or empty. Today my soul desires the waters of life. I want the rain of Your anointing and the fire of Your Spirit. Today I become the worst nightmare the devil has ever had on earth. Today I become the weapon of war in the hands of Christ. Today I become a powerful weapon in the name of Jesus.”
When my voice rises, the demons will rise up; when I raise my hands, hell will tremble in the powerful name of Christ. Raise your voice right there where you are. Ask for what you long for. If you did not want a miracle, make one up; the God of miracles is here, longing to perform a miracle.
If you came expecting nothing, desire something today, because the God of desires is here.
Cry out to Him, and He will answer you. Ask, and you will receive. Knock, and He will open to you. Seek, and you will find. If you are a Christian, close your eyes right there where you are and say with me, “In the name of Jesus”—repeat, “In the name of Jesus, today I renounce every legal right that the devil believes he has over me because of my parents, their idolatry or darkness, or if witchcraft and sorcery were present in my past generations and, because of that, the devil believes he has a right over me. Today I renounce and undo that right in the name of Jesus, and I declare: I am a new generation; I am a new creation; I am free from the past; I am free from pain. Every root of bitterness, come out of me in the name of Jesus.”
Today I forgive my parents, my enemies, and those who have hurt me; I let them go from me, I release them, I am not their slave or a slave to yesterday. Satan, you stole my past from me; you will not steal today and tomorrow from me. You stole my parents from me; you will not steal me. I come to claim the inheritance allotted to me; in the name of Jesus, I bind your spirit of vengeance that would seek to rise against me because of this word. You will not touch my health or my life or the health of my family; you will not touch my finances or what God has given me. I bind every spirit of accident, death, and theft; in the name of Jesus, you will not touch our lives. I place a hedge of protection around my car, my house, my wealth, and what God has given me.
You will not come against me. I paralyze every plan of the enemy in the name of Jesus, and today I make a covenant for a thousand generations: Jesus will be the Lord of all my generations. Never in my generation will there be anyone raped or any rapist, any murderer or anyone murdered, any suicide or needy person, any poor person or anyone divorced. Never again in my generation will there be forsaken women or abandoned children; never again will our children be orphaned. In our generation there will be blessed marriages, beloved women, beloved men, and blessed children.
Today I declare that my generation will possess the gates of our enemies. In the name of Jesus, I will go farther than I have planned; I will reach farther than I have imagined; I will possess everything Christ purchased for me at Calvary. In the name of Jesus, I establish His kingdom in my life, in my home, and among my people. Amen and amen.
Hallelujah…. Wonderful grace and perfect gift, thank you for listening to this message. I am the first to wish that God would use me for 40 minutes, but when I come up here, God gives me a torrent of words, and sometimes I have not even finished one thought before I begin the next. I go crazy; what God wants me to say pours into my mind. I bless you; I bless your going in and your coming out. I declare that your generation will not be left lying on the ground; it will be raised up. I prophesy over you a time of rejoicing and praise. Today I transfer the financial anointing to you. I declare that those who long to have a business will have one, and those whose businesses are bankrupt will be delivered. Today I declare that the wealth the devil is holding back will be released, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Do you know that what the devil does not want to release is wealth, or politics, or the economy? Those are the two places where he has been entrenched for centuries, where he rules and possesses. No one listens to the poor; the rich man can easily buy the judge and the jail if he is imprisoned. God is going to transfer finances to those who are faithful. Do not wait for the rich man to die so that he can give you his money; come down from the clouds.
God has given you power to create wealth. I do not ask for the rich man to die, no; I will create wealth in the name of Jesus without the rich man having to die.
God will give me, for my own personal means, the ability to generate finances. I send upon you the wisdom to buy and sell, to enlarge your territory, to see business opportunities where no one else looks, to sow where no one else sows, and to reap even where you have not sown.
Do you know what that means? To reap where I did not sow—do you know what that is? When I gave that brother a car—and I have given away 6 cars—I gave him the car, and he did not even return my greeting, but through someone else God gave me two brand-new cars, with 0 kilometers, 0 miles. Before coming here, I bought myself a car; I drove it for only 3 hours, but tomorrow I am going back to drive it again. But I gave a car as an offering, and God gave me two—not through the person to whom I gave it, but through someone else. I reaped where I did not sow.
Give generously. Do not expect to receive from the one to whom you give, but from Christ; where you least expect it, He will repay you for what you gave to the poor. I bless you; I bless you with the revelation of the Word, with the knowledge that, in the name of Jesus, will set you free and give you victory.
Thank you, Pastor, for allowing me to minister to these people. It is a privilege to bless you; by blessing you, I leave even more blessed. Thank you.
I want you to know that I have brought 9 CD topics, including my testimony, heaven, and hell. Obtain them and reap blessings: A Generation of Conquest. Each one has a special message for your lives. Thank you very much, and until next time, God willing. God bless you. Thank you, Sister; may God bless you.
Glory to the Lord. Brothers and sisters, we have a great deal of material there to meditate on. Let us ask the Lord that the seed that has been sent into our spirits, into our hearts, would take deep root within us, and that we may receive the word that has been given to us this afternoon. So there is a great deal of biblical teaching there that we can absorb and integrate into our lives.
Let us pray and simply ask the Lord to dismiss us now with His grace. We are also going to make a request with a chorus, and then we will go to our homes to live that life of integrity, that life of surrender to the Lord, and to be resolute about putting into practice what we confess as well.
Please wait just a moment; be quiet. We are going to pray and be dismissed. We are not going to begin now until we are ready, amen? If you have to leave, wait one more moment; you can wait a second, okay? Thank you, brothers and sisters.
Let us pray and ask the Lord to seal in our hearts what we have received. Father, in the name of Jesus, we believe that the word that has been received is Your word, not the word of a woman or a man, but a prophetic word that comes for this church—seeds, Lord, whose full outcome and harvest we do not yet understand, but we receive them, Father.
In the name of Jesus. May the message that has been declared this afternoon, Lord, spread throughout this community, and may that prophetic anointing, Lord, that call to a heroic life in Christ Jesus, become real and be embodied in this congregation, Father. And may this church, Lord, have the impact in this community that You want it to have and reflect the anointing of Jesus Christ, the mind of Christ, and the values of the kingdom of God.
Thank You, Lord. We receive in the name of Jesus; we receive Your double portion, Father, at this moment, and we ask that the order of the kingdom of God always be manifested in this church, and that Your church throughout the whole earth, Father, may align itself with the purposes You have in these last days and bring in that final great harvest, Lord, which You desire before Christ comes.
We want to be part of Your army, Lord, and we bless Your servant Dina Santamaría. We ask that Your Spirit be renewed in her, that You give her new strength, Lord, because of what she has invested here, that You repay her abundantly, and that You take her with blessing to the destination where she is going tomorrow.
We bless her, Lord, and her ministry and her life, in the mighty name of Jesus. And the people of God say, amen. Glory to the Lord. Amen, amen.
