Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. (Psalm 28:3)
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. (Matthew 20:25)

Christians live against the culture of the world

When carnal attitudes interfere with handling Kingdom affairs, there is always loss to the Kingdom of God. The things of the Kingdom of God are not handled in the same way as in the world. When we enter the Kingdom of God, we have to assume that many things within us will have to die. We have to continually ask the Lord for illumination and direction from the Holy Spirit so that those carnal habits can be subjected to the treatment of the Holy Spirit. We have to ask the Lord to renew us every day, change our attitudes, and make us more like Christ. Only then can we be true servants of the Lord who reflect the character of Jesus. Read more...
