The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. (Deuteronomy 28:12)
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. (Matthew 13:44)

It is wonderful to meditate on how the Lord promises to open for us His treasure, the heavens, to bless us abundantly. As Deuteronomy 28:12 mentions, the Lord will provide in His just time, like rain that refreshes the earth. Furthermore, the passage in Matthew 13:44 teaches us about the supreme value of the kingdom of heaven, that it is an incomparable treasure worth sacrificing everything for.
