And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:14)
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 2:9)

The true nature of Jesus Christ

Throughout history, false groups and sects have tried to question the deity of Jesus Christ in an attempt to lower His status and importance in the Christian faith. The Bible defends and emphasizes the deity and glory of Jesus in many passages, including Colossians 1:15-20 where Paul declares Jesus to be the very image of the invisible God. It is important to never give in to erroneous teachings that deny the deity of Jesus and to understand the power and lordship that comes with believing in Him. Only a being who is God himself could do all the things that we depend on Jesus to do. Read more...

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen 🙏.
Hello Oscar! Thank you for your comment. Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional highlights the importance of recognizing and defending the deity of Jesus Christ. As he mentions in Philippians 2:9, God exalted Jesus above every name. It's essential to remember that Jesus is God himself, with unparalleled power and glory. May the blessing of the Lord be with you! 🙏
Enrique Meneses Muñoz : That is how it is, my LORD, I always trust that you will answer my prayers.
Hello Enrique! What a beautiful expression of trust in the Lord. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, it's important to remember that when we pray in the Name of Jesus Christ, we are trusting in someone who is God Himself, with the power to grant us the victories and answers we need. May this faith in Jesus continue to strengthen your prayer life. May God bless you abundantly! 🙏
Eli: I read what you publish daily, not always the devotional, perhaps because of the time we spent with my family years ago. And even when I read, it's no longer faith that moves me daily, but love for my mother, who has been reading the Bible and praying for decades, even though she's elderly and going through a very difficult time, unable to recover. Hearing her say, "God always answered me, but now I feel like He doesn't," breaks my heart, because even the church I went to doesn't even call, let alone come like her pastor did years ago (f). Her son has other interests. I pray now, not always for those I love and need, but she never listened to me. I don't feel like her daughter, and sometimes I think there's a universe that only we should navigate, and I don't know why. Other times I pray to God. To think that before 2011, I wrote to her and prayed and thanked God. Even so, I read what you send daily. Thank you.
Hi Eli! I'm so sorry to hear about the difficult situation you and your mother are going through. It's heartwarming to see your love and concern for her, as well as your sincerity in sharing your feelings. Even though times are difficult and you may feel your faith wavering, remember that God is always present and hears our prayers. In times of affliction, we can find comfort and strength in His unconditional love. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, Jesus Christ is the very image of the invisible God and has the power to grant us the answers we need. May the light of faith and God's love guide your steps and those of your mother in this time of trial. Even though the paths may be difficult, trust that God is with you every step of the way. May God's peace fill your hearts and that of your mother! I will be praying for you. May God bless you and sustain you in His infinite love! 🙏
Carlos A. Borja Flores: Christianity is based on the divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, God incarnated in a human being who died to pay for our sins and rebellions. Our faith is sustained by the belief that no created being can grant us eternal salvation; and there we find God's mercy and love for His creation. Humanly, this is incomprehensible, but with the help and guidance of His Holy Spirit, we can be transformed into the image of our Savior.
Hello Carlos! What a beautiful reflection! As you mention, the foundation of Christianity is the divinity of Jesus Christ, who became incarnate to redeem us from our sins. In this act of God's supreme love, we find the key to our eternal salvation. It is through Jesus Christ's work on the cross that we experience the mercy and unfathomable love of our Creator. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, it is essential to maintain our faith in the deity of Jesus Christ, for in Him we find transformation and hope for our lives. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide your steps and consolidate your image in the likeness of our Savior. May God richly bless you in your journey of faith! 🙏
Sabino Marroquin Lopez: God is my infinite true love in whom I trust, thank you my God, amen.
Hello Sabino! What a beautiful expression of trust in God as your infinite, true love. In Him, we find refuge, comfort, and strength. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, the deity of Jesus Christ reveals God's ultimate love for us, manifested in Christ's redemptive work. May this trust in God continue to strengthen your journey of faith, and may His unfailing love fill you with peace and hope. May God bless you abundantly! 🙏
Ruth Vives.: Once again, it is important to emphasize that there should be no doubt regarding the representation of God the Father through his son Jesus (Jesus Christ). The Bible emphatically establishes the concept of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God bless you. Amen.
Hi Ruth! Thank you for your comment! It is essential to remember and affirm the representation of God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly teaches us about the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, revealing to us the divine nature of God. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, the deity of Jesus Christ is a central pillar of our Christian faith, and in Him we find the full manifestation of God. May this truth strengthen us in our relationship with God and guide us in our daily walk. God bless you abundantly! 🙏
