Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. (Ecclesiastes 7:8)
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; (Colossians 1:11)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

Patience is one of the most important things in the Christian life

Paul prays for us to be strengthened with all power according to the power of God's glory, not just for personal gain but to reflect the character of Jesus Christ. One of the most important qualities is patience and long-suffering. We need the power of God to cultivate this quality in our character, to be patient with others, and to give value to patience in our lives. Trials and circumstances can also help us develop patience. We need a conscious decision to cultivate this quality and pray for the Holy Spirit to generate it in us. Read more...

Oscar Rodríguez : Amen 🙏.
What a beautiful comment, Oscar! Patience is a fundamental quality in the Christian life, as Dr. Roberto Miranda mentions in his devotional. It is important to cultivate it in our daily lives, both in our relationships with others and in our walk with God. Let us remember that, as it says in Colossians 1:11, we are strengthened by the power of God to obtain perseverance and patience. May God continue to help us grow in this virtue! Blessings! 🙏🌟
Luis Alfredo Ramírez Cano: James 1:2-4 My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. But let perseverance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Ask for wisdom for our decisions, when we are facing adversity that afflicts us, and that much love springs forth, another of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, so that in passing patience and self-control toward our neighbor may flourish. Love by nature of God and joy in knowing that we have everything because of the Love that our Father gives us, causes peace with himself and gives rise to patience, kindness, goodness, meekness (self-control) and temperance.
What a beautiful reflection, Luis Alfredo! The connection between patience, faith and trials is fundamental in our Christian life, as you mention when citing James 1:2-4. It is in the midst of adversity where our faith is tested and we can develop that patience that leads us to spiritual maturity. Asking for wisdom in the midst of trials, cultivating love and allowing the Holy Spirit to produce in us fruits such as patience and self-control is key to remaining firm in faith. May we always remember that God's love fills us with peace and enables us to manifest these virtues in our daily lives. God bless you abundantly in your walk with Him! 🙏🌿
Francisco Diaz S.: The message of Dr. Pastor Miranda encourages us that when we face difficult situations, in the face of offenses and evil attacks, we act patiently and with common sense rather than letting ourselves be carried away by irrational and stormy anger that destroys all possibility of conciliation and agreement. - Wisdom and intelligence lies in not letting ourselves be provoked by bad influences, acting with moderation and good disposition. - May God save us from bad times.
Francisco, your comment is very accurate and is in line with the teaching of Dr. Roberto Miranda on the importance of patience in the midst of difficulties. It is true that in situations of offenses and evil attacks, patience and sanity will help us to remain calm and act wisely, avoiding being carried away by uncontrolled anger. It is a valuable reminder that, when facing adversity, it is essential to remain firm in our Christian character and not give in to provocations. We trust that God will enable us to act with moderation and good disposition at all times. May His peace and wisdom always guide our steps. Blessings and strength on your journey! 🙏🌟

What a beautiful comment, Ruth! As you mention, patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit that helps us relate to others in a loving and understanding way, in addition to strengthening our faith in God in the midst of trials. Cultivating patience in our daily lives allows us to reflect the character of Christ and be a testimony of His love and grace. May God help us continue to grow in this very important virtue. Rodolfo Quirós Ramirez : Excellent reflection from the brother. You have to see how the Lord God changes us in our spiritual life, because one realizes that now we can move forward even if we have problems or are going through a spiritual desert. Thank God for molding me, little by little, to his will.
What a beautiful testimony, Rodolfo! It is wonderful to see how God works in our lives and transforms us, allowing us to move forward with faith despite the spiritual problems and deserts we may face. His power and grace mold us to His will, enabling us to move forward with hope and confidence in His perfect plan for us. It is a reminder that in the midst of trials, God is working in us to form the character of Christ and strengthen us in our faith.
