But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth. (Job 23:13)
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, (Revelation 1:5)

My god is sovereign

God is sovereign and in His unlimited sovereignty, He includes you and your entire life. Playing God is trying to usurp His sovereignty. His sovereignty has nothing to do with the free will that He allowed man, but with His majesty and eternal power. He wants the best for His children and arranges all things for their good. You have the choice to work in His Kingdom and be appointed as an administrator of His grace. Psalm 47 is recommended reading. Read more...

Comments:

Efigenia Vidal : Wow, what a relevant topic in serving God. When I heard, on one occasion, that parents are administrators of the family for God, it impacted me greatly. In other words, each one becomes an administrator of what we are in Christ. Because He knows how to guide everything, therefore He is our teacher. Pretending to serve Him without having His direction is like a ship without a rudder. His glory, sovereignty and grace make His work visible in the life of the believer if we walk in obedience. God bless you richly and abundantly.
What a beautiful comment, Efigenia! It is true that we are stewards of what God has entrusted to us, including our family and all that we are in Christ. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentioned in his devotional, "Playing God is trying to usurp His sovereignty." It is essential to recognize that God is the one in control and we must follow His direction at all times. May the grace and sovereignty of God continue to manifest in your life as you walk in obedience. God bless you greatly!
Enrique Meneses Muñoz : My trust is in you every day, my LORD. Receive my gratitude and adoration for this, my GOD.
Enrique, your comment reflects a beautiful trust and gratitude toward our Lord. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas says in his devotional, "If you love God and trust in his will and power, free yourself from all fear..." It is comforting to see how your trust in God leads you to worship him and thank him. May that trust in the Lord continue to strengthen you day by day. Francisco Diaz S.: The earthly king who does not show mercy, who has no compassion for the weak and needy, who dispenses injustice instead of justice, who thinks he is all-powerful; he will be foolish in the eyes of the Lord and will bring perfidy to his people. - God loves the righteous and the humble will be exalted and the proud will be humbled.
Francisco, your reflection is very accurate and aligns with the truth about God's sovereignty and His justice. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, "He is good and merciful, but let us not forget that He abhors sin." Those who act with arrogance and cruelty, far from divine mercy and justice, will eventually face the consequences of their pride. In contrast, humility and justice are values that God exalts. May God's wisdom and grace guide your steps and inspire you to seek justice and humility at all times. God bless you with His light and truth!

Thank you because You, sovereign King, always want the best for us, your children! Your will and your timing are perfect. There is nothing I long for more in my life than to work for your Kingdom, my God, my God, and to be a steward of Your Grace! I and my house will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15) To the Lord be given all the Glory forever! Amen 🙏🏼
Karol, your message is overflowing with gratitude and surrender to God, reflecting a deep reverence for His sovereignty and redeeming love. As Faustino de Jesús Zamora Vargas mentions in his devotional, "He does what He wants, because He is God; He controls, He commands, but… Don't be confused! He wants the best for His children!"
