For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9)
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. (John 11:4)

We have a God who is not wrong

God's ways of responding to our prayers can often be complex and different from what we expect. However, there is always a purpose behind it, and we should trust in God's love and power. Sometimes what we consider a loss turns out to be a platform for an incredible blessing, and what we thought was the perfect job or person may not have been the best for us. We need to believe that God is sovereign and knows what is best for us, and His will is much better than ours. Martha, Mary, and Lazarus were vessels of glory for Jesus, and their story became one of the greatest miracles that the Lord did, displaying His glory and power even over death. We need to cultivate a clear conscience that God knows what He is doing and that everything that happens in our lives is for our good. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : Thank you my LORD because I know that EVERYTHING I receive from you is to bless me. Receive my worship GOD
What a beautiful comment, Enrique! It is important to recognize that everything we receive from God is meant to bless us, even when we do not understand His ways. As Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional mentions, in John 11:4, we see that even in the midst of difficult situations, such as Lazarus' illness, God has a greater purpose to be glorified. Keep worshiping and trusting that God always works for our good. God bless you!
Efigenia Vidal : I honor and praise the name that is above all names, blessed be our Lord. Thank you for your goodness and mercy day by day. I have learned through your word and the constant search for your presence, that your will is what is fulfilled, and it is He, in His time, who will manifest His Glory. Just as Pastor Roberto Miranda quotes, about the manifestation of His Glory when He resurrected Lazarus, it was not when he was given part of how sick he was and required His presence to restore him, but when He considered it appropriate. For this reason I give thanks to His call and the admirable light shone in me, it has been my strength in the midst of circumstances, where the hand of man can do nothing, but His mercy that must manifest itself, I believe it and proclaim it. God bless you.
Efigenia, your comment is a beautiful expression of worship and gratitude toward our Lord. It is comforting to see how you recognize God's goodness and mercy in your life, and how you trust that His will will always be fulfilled, as Pastor Roberto Miranda mentions in his reflection. Just as in the case of Lazarus, God manifests His glory in His time and in the way He considers most appropriate. Your faith and trust in the manifestation of God's glory are inspiring. May you continue to be strengthened by His admirable light in the midst of all circumstances. God bless you abundantly!

Francisco, your words reflect a beautiful trust in the Lord and an attitude of action and perseverance that perfectly complement the reflection of Dr. Roberto Miranda. As you mention, trusting in the Lord does not mean remaining passive, but rather being active and determined to work to achieve our goals, knowing that we have divine protection and guidance. As Isaiah 55:9 says, God's ways are higher than ours, but that does not mean that we should remain inactive, but rather that we should trust in Him and act in faith. May the Lord continue to guide your steps and strengthen your faith. Blessings!

It is true that by trusting and believing with faith in the power, mercy, justice, and love of God, we open ourselves to receive His grace and be instruments in His hands for His kingdom and glory.
