And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master. (2 Kings 6:22)
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:15)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

As we also forgive our debtors

The principle of forgiveness is essential in the Lord's Prayer. We need God's forgiveness and we also need to extend that same forgiveness to others. Forgiving others has a liberating and healing effect, while resentment is a poison that makes us bitter. Forgiveness brings us closer to God's nature, which is to forgive. If we learn to live lives of grace and mercy, we will receive the same from God and others. Let forgiveness flow from you like a clean pipe and it will be a source of refreshing water for your own life. Read more...

Rossy: That's right, you have to forgive. Nice sermon.
Hello Rossy! Thank you for your comment. It is true, forgiveness is a fundamental part of our faith and our relationship with God. As mentioned in the verse Matthew 6:15 shared by Dr. Roberto Miranda, "But if you do not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions." Forgiveness frees us and brings us closer to the divine nature of God. What do you think about how forgiveness can influence our spiritual and emotional life?
Martha Eugenia Caro Montañez : Amen Amen Amen 🙏🙏🙏, what a difficult but necessary concept in the permanent battle against darkness, Satan put a blindfold on us that Christ broke on the Cross so that just as Our Beloved Father sent His Own Son to pay the price that we had to pay, so we have to do with those who offend us, dying to the desires of the flesh such as resentment, malice, revenge that only brings separation and death. Thank you Pastor Miranda, wonderful Message, happy day 🙏
Hello Martha Eugenia Caro Montañez! Thank you for sharing your deep and faith-filled reflection. It is true that forgiveness is a difficult but necessary concept in our Christian life. As you mentioned, it is important to remember that Christ gave us the ultimate example of forgiveness by dying on the cross for our sins. By forgiving those who offend us, we are reflecting the love and grace of God in our lives. What inspires you most about the idea of forgiving others as God forgives us? Have a day full of blessings! 🙏
Francisco Diaz S.: Forgiveness should be applied in our social and family relationships, this prevents conflicts and quarrels and gives us peace in our lives. In the current international conflicts there is no mercy, only the desire for revenge and the demonstration of power prevail. Let us ask God for forgiveness for our faults.
Hello Francisco Diaz S.! Thank you for your insightful comment. Forgiveness is truly essential in all of our relationships, both personal and social. As you mention, applying forgiveness frees us from conflict and brings us peace. It is important to remember that revenge and the desire for power are not paths that bring us closer to God's will. Asking for forgiveness and forgiving others helps us live in harmony and reflect the grace we receive from God. How do you think we can foster a culture of forgiveness in the midst of conflict, whether on a personal or international level? May God bless you on your path of forgiveness and reconciliation! 🙏
Francisco Diaz S.: It depends on the contenders. - If they abandon pride, leave their arrogance and resentment and become humble of heart, then there will be true peace, but this process must be on both sides and only with the help of God could we achieve this.
Hello again, Francisco Diaz S.! Your words are very wise. It is true that forgiveness and reconciliation require humility, a willingness of heart, and God's help. When both parties are willing to let go of pride and resentment, true peace is possible. Calling upon God's grace and love in the midst of conflict is essential to achieving reconciliation. Have you experienced in your personal life the transformation that forgiveness and humility bring? May God's guidance and love always accompany you on your path of forgiveness and reconciliation! 🙏
Mercedes: We have to leave pride and resentment aside, it is like a disease that slowly eats away at our heart. Once we let go, we forgive and thus we will feel peace and tranquility.
Hello Mercedes! Thank you for your profound and truthful comment. Putting pride and resentment aside is essential for our mental, emotional and spiritual health. As you mention, resentment acts as a disease that eats away at our hearts and prevents us from experiencing the peace and tranquility that only forgiveness can bring. By forgiving, we release a weight from our lives and make room for inner peace. What advice would you like to share with those who struggle to leave pride and resentment behind in their lives? May the peace and love of God fill your heart every day! 🙏
Sabino Marroquin Lopez.: I was displaced and banished by the mob, they took our farm and everything we had for 73 years and no one has answered us, out of revenge I made mistakes, I am sorry, I ask God to forgive me, amen.
Dear Sabino Marroquin Lopez, I am very sorry to hear about the difficult situation you have experienced. It is understandable that in the face of injustices and losses as great as those you have experienced, feelings of resentment and even desires for revenge may arise. However, it is brave and wise to acknowledge those mistakes and seek forgiveness, both from God and from those you have hurt. Remember that forgiveness is a process that brings healing and liberation to our hearts. May the grace and love of God accompany you on your path of repentance and forgiveness. I will be here to support you in prayer. Courage and strength on your path of restoration! 🙏
Ruth Vives : We must forgive our fellow men for their faults. According to God the Father, He forgives us on many occasions by pouring out mercy. We must not harbor feelings of resentment and revenge in our mind, body and spirit. God bless you. Amen.
Hello Ruth Vives! What beautiful words you have shared! It is true that forgiveness is a reflection of the mercy that God pours out on us constantly. By forgiving our fellow human beings, we are reflecting the grace we receive from God. Avoiding resentment and revenge is essential to keeping our mind, body and spirit at peace. Sara Gaspar : In addition to being a problem of pride, not forgiving is not valuing God's forgiveness.
Hello Sara Gaspar! Your comment is very accurate. By refusing to forgive, we not only show arrogance by holding on to our resentments, but we also underestimate the value of the forgiveness that God gives us unconditionally. Recognizing the importance of divine forgiveness invites us to reflect on the need to extend that same forgiveness to others. What motivates you personally to value and practice forgiveness in your life? May God's grace and compassion strengthen you in every step you take! 🙏
