After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. (Matthew 6:9)

Comments:

Wulfredo : Thank you Ps for your devotional that shows us how to reach God the Father. As His Son Jesus taught the Apostles and they taught the followers of Christ after so many centuries. If God knows everything we are going to say before being in the language, the most important thing is to arrive with a contrite and humble heart asking for forgiveness as Daniel-Solomon-Hezekiah-David-Job-Jeremiah-Jonah did, knowing that when we invoke the name of Jehovah God of the armies of Israel we do it in the name of Jesus. And He will hear us - listen to our cry and answer us. Amen
Thank you for your comment, Wulfredo! It is true that Jesus’ teaching on how to address God as our Father provides us with a powerful and trusting model for prayer. As Psalm 138:2 mentioned, it is important to recognize God’s mercy and faithfulness as we approach Him. As also indicated in Matthew 6:9, by addressing God as “our Father who art in heaven,” we remember His holiness and approach Him with humility and reverence. It is beautiful to see how prayer connects us with God in an intimate and trusting way. May we continue to approach our heavenly Father with humble and contrite hearts, knowing that He is always willing to listen to us and answer our requests! Amen!

What a beautiful reflection, Francisco! It is so important to remember that when we approach God in prayer, we do so as a loving and merciful father, just as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:9.
