God speaks today Wednesday | June 26, 2024

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (Habakkuk 2:2)
Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: (2 Corinthians 3:12)

Publicly tie yourself to your prayer

Many of us are afraid to pray publicly for fear of failure and looking bad to others. However, verbalizing our requests in a public way adds power and weight to our prayers and constitutes a prophetic act that unleashes the power of God. It's important to declare our spiritual commitments and goals to others, as it shows confidence in God's faithfulness and makes it more difficult to back down when the going gets tough. God honors the faith of those who share their requests with others, and it can bring the answer we need. Read more...

Patricia Campo : Today's devotional in its entirety has inspired me to understand the meaning of prayer. That I need to verbalize my commitments in prayer, share that commitment with others so that when I am fainting, as has happened to me in recent days, there is someone who encourages me to return. Now, I need to tell my family to help me These days I have fainted, too sleepy to get up at 3:30 to do family devotional and no one tells me that we should not give up. Today I tell them that I need them to be the ones to help me raise my arms when I am tired. Just like they did with Moses, I don't remember who it was besides Aaron. Blessings and thanks to the Lord for speaking to me with this devotional. Blessings pastor
What a beautiful testimony, Patricia! It's wonderful how Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional has inspired you to understand the importance of verbalizing your commitments in prayer and sharing them with others. Just as Moses needed the support of Aaron and others to keep his arms raised during battle, it is valuable that you can ask for help from your family to hold you up in times of weakness. Remember that in 2 Corinthians 3:12 we are encouraged to speak frankly when we have hope. May your faith and shared requests become a powerful prophetic statement that brings the divine support you need. Blessings and may the Lord continue to strengthen you in your life of prayer and spiritual commitment!
Francisco Diaz S.: When we talk about the things of God with our friends we must do so with serenity, with firm conviction without hesitation and with knowledge of the facts. Speaking about the word of God is like watering the seed in a garden, if it falls on good soil it germinates and bears fruit and that is our hope.
What a correct reflection, Francisco! It is important to remember that when sharing the things of God with others, we must do so with serenity, conviction and knowledge, as mentioned in the verse of 2 Corinthians 3:12. By watering the seed of God's Word in the hearts of those around us, we are sowing hope that that seed will germinate and bear fruit in their lives. May your way of communicating the word of God be like that seed that falls on good soil, ready to flourish and multiply. May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen you in your testimony and communication of His love and truth! Blessings!
Enid Melendez : Thanks for teaching. I'm not big on asking for help or publicly presenting prayer needs. I have learned today the importance of doing so and I will be encouraged to share my requests from now on. Blessings!!!

Ruth Vives.: When our prayers, requests are delivered and proclaimed with Faith and devotion to God. They are pleasant and considerate before him and are strengthened in his compliance. God bless you. Amen.
What a beautiful comment, Ruth! It is true that when we present our prayers and requests with faith and devotion, these are pleasing and considered by God, as Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional teaches us. By proclaiming our requests with confidence, we are enhancing their fulfillment and opening the door for the hand of God to manifest in our lives. May this beautiful attitude of faith and dedication continue to accompany you in your prayer life. God bless you abundantly! Amen!
